Season2. The Maura
Maura was in shock, because what she was trying to cover up was also smelled by Raka. Maura was fixated, unable to say a word at the sight of the printed newspaper two months ago, which was spread across her home country of Singapore. He is unable to deny or justify. For a moment he just looked down and from the corner of his eyes flowed a lot of tears that had been held back.
Maura's body sank to the floor with sobs. It was obvious that he was harboring deep sadness. Disappointment was clearly visible on his face.
"Sorry ...! I know I was wrong to lie to you. But for God's sake, I'm not doing this for myself. I didn't mean to drain your grandfather's fortune, Raka. Really, I just want to save my papa company from this male savagery!" maura said, pointing to a picture of a man who was in a newspaper headline that circulated in Singapore two months ago.
"Don't make things up Maura. You want to cover up one lie with another, huh?" raka asked with a mocking smile doubting every word from Maura's mouth.
Maura looked up at Raka who was standing straight not far from her. With tears she shook her head, and stared at the sharp neutrals of Raka who was about to judge her.
"What is written in this newspaper, I dare to swear on my own life, that this is not true. I'm not an actor, but I'm a victim! I was raped by this savage man, Raka!" maura said her hoarse voice was difficult to continue her words, while recalling the fateful events that befell her.
Raka was speechless, from the look in Maura's eyes saying there was no lie as she said it. Maura looked as if she was harboring a pent-up pain that had finally exploded at this moment.
"I'll give you a chance to explain if you mean it this time around Maura, please tell me the truth!" said Raka who felt that something had happened to Maura.
"I promise I'll tell you everything to be honest, Raka. But can we talk somewhere else? if you think after hearing my confession you want to keep reporting this to your grandfather and cancel the matchmaking I resigned. I know you're a different person of character to your grandfather, I beg for mercy from you, Raka. Listen to my explanation first!" maura said with a mecca.
"Alright, my decision depends on the weight of your story, at least we can find another reason for grandfather not to commit cruelty to your family, even though this matchmaking is void!" raka paused her words to think for a moment. "I'll ask permission to go outside so you can tell me that without fear of being heard by my grandfather!" said Raka who finally obeyed Maura's wishes.
"Thank you, Raka!" maura said sincerely while wiping her tears.
Raka went to the living room to ask permission from her grandfather and Maura's parents to take Maura for a walk outside. When he saw Maura quite pitiful like that, if he was seen by his grandfather it would definitely raise questions. And it could be that his grandfather will cancel the match at that time if he knows the true state of Maura.
But, the human instinct possessed by Raka is quite high. He couldn't possibly have let Maura and her family suffer the cruelty of her grandfather. Especially if until his grandfather knows he is being lied to by the current state of Maura. But Maura and her family are actually getting a disaster and need to be helped.
They then went to a cafe, and there Maura told Raka everything she had experienced.

A few months ago Maura decided to help take care of her papa's work at the office. His papa-owned company won a tender held by a large company owned by a very famous young businessman in Singapore.
Cooperation is well established until the CEO of the company named Elvan saw Maura replace his papa at various meetings and meetings. Elvan has an unusual gurgle on Maura.

Maura wakes up from her sleep and realizes that she is in a hotel room with her innocent body covered by a white sheet that covers herself. Maura felt a sense of unease at the core. Maura was crying at that moment. She had lost the most precious treasure to her as a woman, her holiness. Maura didn't tell her father that. Because, Maura was afraid if it could affect the health of his father to have a sudden heart attack, because his father was in a bad state with his heart. Maura only told her mother about it.
The heart of a mother is not broken with the condition of her child like that. However, he embraced Maura to stay strong to face the problem.
Maura investigated the matter secretly by sending her assistant. But he could not accuse anyone of being his alleged rapist. Maura found no one there. Even evidence of CCTV footage from the hotel has been removed at certain hours.
Maura is not strong enough to face it and is afraid that her family will know who has the heart to do that to her. After damaging the future of Maura even Elvan cut cooperation and influenced some other investors to revoke investment funds to the company papa Maura.
Although Maura could eventually suspect Elvan was behind it all, Maura did not have any evidence of the events that night. Finally Maura could not hold Elvan accountable. Maura was actually reluctant, did not want to be trapped in marriage with the man who had married the two.
Maura is determined to take care of her own pregnancy and give birth to her without her biological father figure. Maura and her family were in very bad shape at the time, and decided to temporarily return to Indonesia. Unexpectedly, they meet suddenly with Raka's grandfather, who spontaneously plans an arranged marriage between Maura and Raka. They also agreed immediately.
