Being Married to My First Love

Being Married to My First Love
Finally Meet

Povs. Reyna

They looked as if they were moving closer towards the middle room. Every step I heard made my heart beat faster as if it was going to fall. My body is getting stiff and unable to move. Grandfather stood up to greet her with a hug to release the longing.

I looked up my head and ventured to look at the guests grandma and grandpa. My curiosity grew when I heard a familiar voice that I was familiar with.

The deg! The ladder!!

At that moment he looked at me and our eyes met. He was surprised to see me too. When grandfather broke his embrace, he stood facing me.

I summarized his face which did not change much even though his posture had already changed to that of an adult male. I still recognize him even though we haven't seen each other in years. In fact, his eyes were still the same as before.

His eyes were sharp and pierced into the recesses of my heart. For a while we were silent and only the look in the eye spoke. I don't know what's in his head, but he looked at me long enough as if he didn't want to get me out of his sight.

"You know each other?" ask the grandfather who immediately broke the atmosphere.

I woke up and immediately turned to look at Grandpa. Maybe grandpa also realized there was something between me and him. Grandpa questioned that.

I looked down at the floor, and now I don't dare to look at it. Rangga and I did not answer and remained silent. From the shadow I'm sure he's still staring at me. I was also wrong.

Tulilit tulilit tulilit!

Suddenly the phone rang. I took the phone on the nightstand and spelled in the heart the name on the screen. Apparently a call from Mira, my best friend.

Thankfully, Mira called at the right time.

I think God saved me through Mira.

"I'm sorry, excuse me!" I said as I glanced at those in front of me, then turned away.

I left the middle room to my room. I took a deep breath and slowly swallowed it. Soon I dialed the green color on my phone screen.

"Hello, Mir. Assalamu'alaikum," I said.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Beb, Nathan's birthday tomorrow, I'm belom to buyin gift, confused about what to say, you help me dong nyari something for him!" mira.

Mira's habit immediately nyerocos only, if you say no comma.

"Yes, Mir! When are you going to leave?" my many.

"Later in the afternoon, baby? at five I'll pick you up at your house."

"Yes, ready!" answer's short.

"Beb, already well, ni nyokap ask to be escorted to the salon for condangan. I will tell you again if you want to go there. Bye, beb, assalamu'alaikum!" Mira ended the call.

"Yes, wa'alaikumsalam."

Phone's closed.

I was confused about going out of the room again or not. Seven years have passed but now that I have met my heart is still pounding when I see it.

Could he have gone home?

Thankfully, I took a deep breath, then I took it out of my nose slowly. It felt relieved, I walked towards the kitchen with a big smile.

As soon as I reached the hallway leading to the kitchen, I stopped abruptly in shock at the figure that had suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Eiitzhu..!" pekiku.

I almost collided with Rangga. For a moment we were silent when our sight met. I really feel uncomfortable. Immediately I turned to cut off the view, and went to cover about to pass it. But again he fucked me.

"Eh .. uh.. uh ...! What the hell!" I said I was upset because of it.

Rangga deliberately blocked my path to the right or to the left. I saw him smiling in my direction.

This reminds me of a long time ago, at the beginning of first grade Junior High. Rangga likes to prank me to piss me off until I run there and come after him to avenge his actions. At first I just said it crybaby when he almost cried fighting over a seat with a girl friend in my class. For a long time he kept bothering me. I think that's where I interacted with him a lot.

"Why are you guys standing there?" granny exclaimed from the dining room breaking my daydream.

"Reyna, come here! we had lunch together!" grandma again.

"Yes, Grandma!" answer me obediently

I took a quick glance at it, then passed it which started to move to the right.

Arriving at the dining room, I sat down beside my grandmother and began to pour rice on my plate.

Grandpa seemed to have finished his meal. His plate was empty with a fork and a spoon clenched on top of his plate.

"Grandpa didn't know Reyn, said Rangga you used to be a schoolmate, huh?" ask grandpa.

I looked up and glanced at Rangga.

"Emm .. yes, cake," I answered short.

"Grandpa noticed there seems to be something between you guys in the past, huh?" the question again surprised me instantly.

"Uhukk..!"

Suddenly I choked, and I quickly picked up my drink that was available in front of me. Immediately I sipped the water in the glass until it ran out.

"Slow down, Reyn!" said Rangga who had just returned to sit in his chair while commenting on the smile as if laughing at me.

I glanced sharply at him then, immediately turned and continued eating unsettledly. I felt Rangga constantly watching me. Several times I caught him looking at me with his smile.

I tried to ignore it even though it was very uncomfortable in my heart. If I can I want to disappear from this place immediately.

I hurriedly finished my meal. My appetite was gone in front of him.

There was a pounding inside the chest that was not as usual. My body feels hot cold made. A taste that had been stored tightly in the chest now seemed to come out again. But I'm getting scared. I was afraid to fall in love with him again.
