Hero Creator: The Last Hero
Ch. 105 — Rigel Vs Samael

Leaving room for Rigel and Samael to confront, neither the angels nor the demons seemed intent on intruding. Rigel has also advised the Heroes not to bother him at this time and asked Takumi as well as Ozaru to prepare if called.

Rigel was aiming to figure out the depth of Samael's strength and apparently the other party was also aiming the same.

“It is very rare for Seraphim— Angel to have such a sealing power. I thought they were a bunch of germs that only live under the sun.”

“I myself have a problem because no one comes from the moon like me. This caused me to be a loner because the light there was so boring. Ah, maybe only Lucifer ever got me interested in him. And now you, the creature between the moon and the sun makes me interested.”

“It sucks because I don't have the heart to love a man.” Rigel gathered strength in his left hand and prepared for all possibilities, “If you say so, then Michael there does not interest you at all?”

From one look it was clear that Samael looked stronger than anyone among the Seraphim. Although Rigel doesn't know much about Michael, Samael's aura is the highest.

It is only natural that the weak will follow the strong but Samael is an oddity that Rigel does not understand. With his possibly greater strength then, he should have been the leader of the party there.

“You must be wondering about why I who was two steps above Michael even obeyed him instead of leading.” Samael smiled faintly and raised both of his hands.

“As I said, the brighter the light, the darker the shadow. Michael is weaker than me but also stronger than me. More than anything, no angel is more beloved of the sky than him.”

“So, yes. Your power will be even stronger if Michael becomes strong and besides heaven is on his side. Even if you are stronger than him it is still impossible to defeat him.”

“You caught it well. If you want to kill me, as much as possible for Michael to weaken or not fight because if he gets stronger, my strength will increase even greater than him. For the record, even if Michael dies my power won't weaken.”

Rigel felt confident that Samael was the most troublesome opponent capable of growing stronger at any time. From his words, it can be concluded the presence of Michael or will not be able to give him strength.

“If Michael dies then your light will dim and that's when the darkness becomes the ruler. Very kind of you to tell me.”

“I just don't like to hide things, I also hate to lie or cover up the truth. And that's why, face me without any lies.” Samael lowered his body's gravity and took a swing.

Rigel acted similarly and he widened his left palm, while his right hand formed a fist. His body was still burning because of the Void he did not pull even for a second.

“Before start let me say this.” Rigel delayed the fight for a moment and Samael raised his eyebrows.

“Originally just know I'm not the one who will hold back in the beginning and I really hate talking while fighting. Make this the last word exchange.” Samael showed his displeasure.

Rigel slightly smiled and showed his strength, “As long as I serve you, try not to die.”

Speech that looked like a provocation but Samael understood it and felt himself not wrong to come here. For the first time in a long time his lips formed a wide smile and the feeling he thought he had died began to churn.

“I'm looking forward to it, Rigel!”

Both of them moved very quickly like black and blue light clashing all over the place. Rigel used his left hand to create a missile that was instantly swallowed by Samael's shadow. Rigel feels confident that Samael is also able to negate everything as well as Void.

The difference was that if Void removed it without a trace, the shadow belonging to Samael would swallow it and leave it somewhere else. The missile he had made earlier must have exploded within that shadow.

Rigel tried to think of making a gap but Samael did not stay still, he was behind Rigel and held out his powerful fist. Rigel swiftly used both hands to hold him back, the right hand that received directly seemed to have a fractured bone.

‘I can't believe this. My bones should be so hard that physical strength is rarely able to crack them. This guy is clearly on a different level than any opponent I have ever faced.’

Ignoring the pain he received, Rigel immediately went out of the range of Samael's attack that attacked with fists. His physical strength from the start was never necessary to doubt.

“Soul Eater.” A dark purple shadow with sharp fangs in front like a mouth shot towards Rigel.

“Back to nothing.” Rigel simply waved his hand and obliterated the attack but he was unaware that it was just bait.

Samael appeared right in front of him, their eyes meeting each other which made Samael look like a crazy person of pleasure.

“Nightmare!”

Rigel's vision went completely dark, before long he saw a terrible sight he never wanted to see again. It was when he slaughtered his comrades that he killed Priscilla when he received the Void for the first time.

Screams pierced through the ears and Rigel began to have difficulty breathing. He wanted to scream but was powerless because something seemed to strangle him, he wanted to escape but was unable because chains were binding and blades like kunai pierced each of his joints.

Rigel takes a little control of himself and detonates the Void's power so that whatever affects him is destroyed. The black sphere that enveloped him had vanished, the first thing he saw was the excited Samael.

Having a body full of wounds, it seemed that what he had seen before not only displayed illusions but also attacked sadistically.

‘Tch! How did he know I was weak against mental attacks?’

Rigel hated such power the most because he could never get used to it even though the attack he received was basic magic. Anyone who has experienced dark things can never overcome a mentally focused attack.

Recovering himself with magic, Rigel took a deep breath and moved quickly, as Samael did not choose to fly and ran over to Rigel. Their fists clashed against each other causing massive earthquakes and cracks on the ground. Rigel clasped Samael's hand and twisted it tightly.

Without delaying any more Rigel's hand becoming hot and his temperature rising, a huge explosion occurred causing Samael to lose his hand. But as if he did not want to be injured alone, he grabbed Rigel's right fist but failed. Never out of his mind he stepped on the shadow Rigel had and obliterated the right part of his body.

Along with the disappearance of Rigel's body shadow, now the pain approached and the right body completely lost as well as the shadow he had. Rigel had no idea what was happening but for now he had to switch towards stage four of the Void power.
