In a place far and unattainable to mankind before finding the afterlife, where the Seraphim and angels are.
“Sandalphone and Kalkydras have completely fallen, huh? The seal that the Hero made was so great that it was able to tear to the soul.” The seraphim with long white hair and closed eyes said with interest.
He only used a cloth on his chest and large pants that made his movements easier. In addition there was a lightning tattoo on his forehead. His identity does not need to be asked anymore because there is only one Seraphim that symbolizes lightning, namely Barakiel.
“Yes. Gabriel and Zadkiel still had good luck, the sky was on their side. But there is little concern because it seems that Rigel's man has suspicions to Rafael.” Michael sat on the rock and looked at Rigel's face from the pool of water describing the situation.
They were in a different location than before because they wanted to change the atmosphere. A lush, green place, soothing with a big milk river not far behind. The most beautiful garden in the entire universe, this place is known as the Garden of Paradise.
The magnificent building of the palace in heaven can be seen from this place, not infrequently Seraphim visit Paradise Park because of the scenery. But the reason many of them do not come as often as possible is because of the existence of someone who has always been here.
“Since then only our side and the lowly humans have had a major confrontation, while the Devils have not made any meaningful movements. Only the presence of Leviathan is worth counting. Isn't this very strange, what do you think, Samael?”
The reason not many Seraphim often visit this park is because of the existence of Samael who loves Paradise Park and spend a long time here. The only angel who does not emit light and darkness.
Black hair with lifeless eyes, wearing only black pants while two pairs of white wings and a pair of black ones. Samael is the only Seraphim to have mastered darkness deeper than anyone before Lucifer fell.
“Entahlah. I don't want to think of anything troublesome. My wish is that everything ends quickly and the peaceful time I have will return.” Without the slightest interest Samael stared at the blue sky, since the war began he had no interest in war.
Michael felt a little unfortunate because Samael did not contribute with his thoughts. Although he is the embodiment of the slack Seraphim, in fact when compared to others, the potential of Samael is even above all including Barakiel.
Although the other Seraphim ignored him, but both Michael, Barakiel and Kemuel showed their respect to Samael. In the process of expelling Lucifer from heaven, however, Samael was the one who had the greatest contribution.
While there may be some concern among the Seraphim if Samael changes sides, Michael does not seem to be worried about the issue. More than anyone else he knows the figure of Samael.
“Yeah, what can be done. But if you think of something, just say it. Not only in terms of strength but your intelligence is also several levels above me.”
Michael never gave praise to people and admitted that he was weak because of great self-pride. But in front of Samael alone he dared to say that he was not comparable. It is even possible that if Samael had motivation and care, the position of the leader of the Seraphim and angels would not fall into Michael's hands, but would be under the palm of Samael's hands.
“There is no need to assume that because you are more capable than me regardless of my strength that exceeds all of you. The brighter the shining light, the darker the shadow that follows.”
Behind the angels and Seraphim that were shining so brightly, there was the deepest darkness waiting behind. Even when the light that the angels have is dim, the shadow that is behind them will help. The power of Samael is exactly the same as that. The more powerful the angels and Seraphim are, the more powerful Samael's power will be.
“Yeah, there's one thing that makes me curious.” Samael continued to talk and made Barakiel a little surprised because he did not seem reluctant as usual.
“It's not like you, Samael. So, what makes you curious?” Barakiel asked as he observed the reflection from the water.
“This world there are only two choices that you will take. The path to light, or the path to darkness. Depending on the path taken, I was able to see which side a certain creature was on. Like all of you, who are in the light. And the other Human Heroes are also on the same side.”
Samael can tell just by feeling and seeing once. For him it was like distinguishing a color, seeing it was something that was completely natural for him. But there were some things he could not understand.
“Man with that white hair, I don't know which side he is on.”
Barakiel raised his eyebrows and looked at Rigel whose face appeared in the water, “You mean, his position is not in the dark or light?”
Samael just nodded and never once looked at the reflection of water, his gaze was only fixed on the sky, and before long he closed his eyes.
“There are some cases like myself that are in the midst of light and darkness. Then too Lucifer who was in the darkness of his own. You know that whatever it is I can see which side they are on. But this human is different. I can't see light or darkness from him.”
Samael had tried to think about it and it had been a very long time since he had thought that hard but such futile efforts did not give him the answer he wanted. In the end Samael gave up on caring about it.
“Every life will be born to choose one side, or to have a unique case like me that is in the middle, or Lucifer that makes his own darkness However, it is, I'm pretty sure there's no creature that wasn't born to be in both.”
If there is a special zone like gray, then Samael should also be in the same condition. But there has never been such a zone, and if there are beings who are not on any side then it is capable of becoming a very big threat.
“So, what do you want to tell from those concerns. Just because he's not on any side, doesn't mean he's very strong than us, or at least a Devil, right?” Michael asked with a smile on his lips.
Samael knew enough that the smile was fake because Michael actually felt anger. Michael may still accept if he is below him but his pride refuses if weaker than humans.
“Yes. But there was a bad feeling in my heart. A hunch that says that the human will swallow light and darkness.”
Skeptical as well as his feelings, Samael did not really understand what he was saying. After all he did not want to try to understand it, doing something exhausting and useless was not his hobby.
“Not really. I don't want to throw away peace by having any thoughts.”
“Can't you cooperate and try a little more?” Barakiel looked desperate as he asked her and smiled wryly.
“Effort is the habit of ordinary people. Even without a solution from me, you guys won't lose, right?”
Neither Michael nor Barakiel showed the same smile and became excited. No matter what kind of light Rigel has, they have no idea they will lose.
“Hehe, it is harder to imagine a situation where I lost.” Michael said with pride.
Samael was overheated because of the two extremely excited Seraphim, he had never liked such things because it was troublesome. But on rare occasions, he was unable to understand his own feelings. As if there is something revolting out and contrary to the usual desire who want to laze without doing anything even thinking.
“Yah. It may not be as bad as I thought. I hope that man will be able to drive away this eternal boredom. Since you're going to play around with Lucifer, it looks like I'm going to put in a little effort by going up against that human.”
Michael showed a meaningful smile, it has been a while since he has not smiled as often as this, “Khuhaha, this is really not like you. I thought you had no interest in anything after expelling Lucifer. So what drove you to this?”
Samael sat down and stretched his achy body from lying down for a very long time. For the first time he stared at the reflection of the water and saw a white-haired human. I don't know how long his heart hasn't raced this fast, and for a very long time he's never felt this kind of urge.
A drive known as zeal and impatience, Samael really misses moments like these. He had been relaxing for too long and had done nothing. In a very long time, finally. Finally came the time where he had the urge to fight.
“Either good or bad. I feel like this human will be able to eliminate my boredom. Unlike you guys, I have a strong desire to be defeated. When I succeeded in expelling Lucifer from heaven, my hope of defeat was dashed.”
Since then, Samael's desire to spend time with nothing. Even when the other Seraphim were born after Lucifer's expulsion, Samael never had any hope for them. But when he saw this one human, the feeling he thought had been destroyed now reappeared.
“I left because I wanted to be defeated. There's an uncertain future that I want it to happen. Maybe contrary, I have found an answer when I will fight against this human, but I hope that does not happen.”
Samael had little hope that his little desire to lose would arrive. The time where he would do an all-out fight and until unable to stand up again, if that happened then there was no doubt he was ready to die. And because the little hope that arises gives it the impetus to once again teach the world the meaning of real darkness.
“Hero Creator, Amatsumi Rigel. I hope you are exactly the same as your Hero title, Creator, or Creator Hero. Try to create a miracle when I teach you, man, and the world. About the meaning of darkness.” No matter how long he hadn't done it, those stiff lips formed a smile that he hadn't seen for a very long time.
Michael felt that everything would be very interesting from now on. The darkness of Samael's power is deeper than anything imaginable. He never expected that the time where Samael became excited would arrive.
“Then, should we prepare the entire army and depart? The evil forces that are on the other side of the world seem to start moving.” Barakiel diverted the reflection of the mirror to a place filled with dark clouds.
Dark clouds are just figurative words. The dark cloud is a group of demons moving forward and covering the sky. They clearly only had one goal: the battlefield. There was no doubt that the number was the entirety of the demons, which meant that their full strength had been deployed.
Humans on the other hand have also made aggressive movements, although large attacks such as in the initial wave are not launched anymore but there is no doubt that the other two parties are ready to go to war. For this reason they, the greatest race, angels, will not lose.
Humans are superior in numbers but they are not like angels, when dead angels will be born and can fight. Their number does not increase or decrease, and will remain at the same amount. In exchange for this, angels have no emotions, and the Seraphim who will be born later will have power and become a different figure.
“Then from that, we will also show the scale of the war that they never imagined. Mumpung Samael excited, there is no harm in acting faster.” Michael did not reject Barakiel's idea.
“Yes, you have to be fast. Because anyway, Rafael will use that power.” Samael pointed at the reflection in the water.
The smile on Michael's lips disappeared when he heard it. He was initially hesitant but chose to make sure of it himself. Sure enough, the scene where Rafael was preparing his card appeared from the reflection of the water.
“What does he think?” Barakiel did not understand the incident. This should not be the right time to use it.
“That must be because of Gabriel, Zadkiel, and the one Kemuel just fell to his death. Even Jahoel looks troubled due to wounds that cannot be healed.” Michael replied nonchalantly while observing the battle.
“So so. Ancient Artifacts, or weapons made by the Gods were indeed troublesome. Even Raphael was unable to heal him as usual. The choice to use it at this time is not bad.”
It wasn't a bad choice but Michael's Initial plan wanted Rafaela to use it only when the clash between the faction's leaders began. If something happens to Michael, he wants Rafaela to use it.
Such power was extremely limited and could only be used once after a thousand years. Michael may be disappointed but there is no point regretting something that has happened.
“It seems right, that this Amatsumi Rigel is an interesting human being. It seems, this eternal boredom will soon disappear.” Jahoel again felt more spirit in his chest.
He was no longer able to be patient for the upcoming clashes. Is it a future where those desires materialize, or a future as boring as ever. Samael impatiently wanted to know the answer.
