Leaving Priscilla into Yuri's tutelage, Natalia did not want to trouble herself and immediately moved to where Rigel was.
Although Spatial managed to get to the main battle, but he could not find Rigel immediately. Surrounding the battleground like hell by running, cold sweat began to appear on Natalia's forehead.
“The clash of power is huge. Mana in this place mixes between darkness, light and other things more like emptiness.”
Natalia shuddered in horror at this battle. How devastated was the world when Ragnarok began? I don't know, thinking you can still live a normal life after that is not possible.
Running for a few minutes he finally found Rigel. But there was an awkwardness, a black shadow figure standing right in front of the weakly sprawled Rigel.
His form was not so clear, his body was shrouded in shadows and leaving only his face that could vaguely be seen. His eyes are black with red irises symbolizing evil.
“Ugh! Rotten smell!” Natalia murmured while covering her nose.
The scent came from the black shadow in front of Rigel. No matter what and who, he was definitely not a figure on their side.
Natalia took the small knife in her pocket and threw it, but it pierced through the black shadow as if she had no physical body.
Puffed up, Natalia took Gleipnir's relics from Gahdevi. He twisted it so hard that the chain could wrap around the shadow figure.
As an ancient artifact of the relics of the Gods, Gleipnir is able to bind one's soul including such shadow-like creatures.
“Gleipnir yes, it seems that the boy has died or thrown it away.” Mumbled the shadow while jumping backwards.
Natalia immediately positioned herself in front of Rigel and mounted her horses. He's ready to die protecting Rigel if needed.
“Stay away from him, I already warned!”
“Pft! Kuhahaha, there's a fly coming. But it seems you are on his side, then good.” A wicked laugh sounded from the shadow.
His eyes squirm, finding the book in Natalia's hands which of course he recognized.
“Heavenseal Book, so it is. You used the Spatial magic I sealed in the book, huh. It is good enough that the book falls into the hands of the right side. But it seems you are not aware of anything else stored in it, yes let it.”
Natalia was wide-eyed and trembling. He who found the book did not know his name at all. He knew that the book held one other magic, but from the words of the shadow, it seemed like there was magic or something else inside.
‘He who sealed Spatial magic, is it possible that he is a former book owner?’ His mind in silence.
One look at him knowing that the shadow is very strong, perhaps equal to or even twice as strong as the Hero. If so, Natalia is not sure if she can take Rigel safely. Finding out his intentions first is a choice.
Does he mean evil? If yes, then Natalia is willing to sacrifice her life. If not, hope this is done without much trouble.
“My time is not much, my soul piece will disappear. Listen and tell him. Find the divination stone, solve the puzzle to find the one stored in it. The tomb will shine, eight stars merge into one, the puzzle pieces will be complete and the final gate open.”
The shadow faded as if it were about to disappear. As he said, there is not much time.
“Who are you really?” Natalia asked, realizing that she couldn't ask anything else.
He needs to know the identity of the shadow and look for names that may have existed in the past.
Hearing the question, the shadow formed a smile. The face of the handsome man who looked desperate as well as sad was deep and gentle was clearly visible.
Before Natalia could take any action, the fading black shadow stretched out its hand, casting a mysterious purple light that immediately enveloped Rigel.
“What are you doing?!” Snapped the panicked Natalia and prepared to attack.
He immediately stopped his actions when he realized that the energy radiated from Rigel's body was slowly returning, albeit only slightly. He did not understand and could never understand the action.
Given his identity was still mysterious, it was not good to directly believe him, let alone consider him a comrade.
Ignoring the panicked Natalia, the man shrouded in black shadow smiled slightly in surprise. “Ho? You've lost the soul that's stalking you apparently. Although there is one small piece from him, but he will not be able to do anything so let it be.”
Pulling back his strength, a shadowy figure stared at Natalia one last time. There were many things he wanted to know, but time was not so kind to him. Then he only has time to ask one question, whether it will be brought or not it is a business later.
“Entah how many generations have passed but, you say. How are Arthur and Hoshin? Did they manage to build the kingdom as I asked? Does Etherbelt and its contents vanish without rest??”
Natalia was once again stunned. He doesn't understand the context of the question, no. From the beginning her questions were strange and not things she understood right away.
Arthur's name alone left an impression on him, because young was the founder of Britannia. But for Hoshin he doesn't know anything, but if it's Etherbelt he's read it in a history book.
‘Etherbelt, a huge kingdom that vanished without a trace in the past. It's a distant generation, did he come from there?’ Thought Natalia investigated.
There is no certainty about it, there are many mysteries in the world that are not at all revealed or known. Many parts of the history of the world are lost swallowed up by time.
Then maybe the figure in front of him is the same, a strong figure forgotten by time. Regarding the question that figure asked, the answer was—
“I don't know who and what you mean, absolutely nothing in my memory.”
—is act not know anything, after all the fact that he does not know much with what the figure is questioning.
“Once, you deliberately played dumb, yes. Because after all, Arthur's fool will surely succeed in building his kingdom. You don't know Etherbelt for sure, which means the whole trail has been cleared up by that fool. In contrast to him, Hoshin must have played clean and managed to build up a religious belief in this world that basically worshiped me.”
Can't stop to be surprised, the figure's words are beyond anyone's thinking. Natalia really did not understand why the figure was so confident in the conclusion she made herself.
Although the conclusion may not be wrong, but strangely he seemed to have predicted it. Not to mention, the thing that surprised him the most was the religion he was referring to.
There is only one belief in this world, the teachings of Ruberios. So he said that he caused it and made his adherents worship a figure like him?
“O-what kind of nonsense is.” A rare occurrence in which Natalia loses her composure.
“Hm, what do you care? This world should have been destroyed, so I created terrible things like slavery and the Monster of Catastrophe. But who would have thought this would happen. Had I not known that Rigel, whom I love and long for, would have suffered a similar fate. Where might I let it so I do it.” His gaze was fixed on Rigel with deep sadness.
Again and again new information that is hard to believe anyone comes out of it. Slavery and the Monster of Catastrophe? The thought that he was a God appeared in Natalia's mind.
According to legend, the Monster of Catastrophe was something that the Gods created for a specific purpose. I don't know what the goal is, like before that there's a lot of world history that's gone missing.
“It's time. Don't forget my words and tell me. Had I been alive, your pretty face would have been one of my collections.” A sneaky smile emerged from his lips.
Slowly his smile disappeared and was replaced with a warm, affectionate smile. “See you later, Rigel. When you break what I keep in the Stone of Divination, the last piece of my soul will gather and we will meet.” Leaving behind such words, he disappeared.
Its presence adds a new mystery about who and the origin of the figure. Not God and not man. Not even Devils, angels and even Demi-humans. Like what he said before that, his existence was full of obscurity.
