Ch. 98 — Rigel Vs Fuel

The runes lit up and made Kemuel take full vigil, he knew that Rigel possessed such terrifying power yet never expected his strength to be this big. The mysterious monstrous energy seemed to increase so much that Kemuel lowered his point of gravity.

‘It's stronger than it looks in the mirror. If he says stage three, then there is another stage.’

As far as the power is concerned, it has only reached stage four and it cannot be ascertained how many more stages are there until the power reaches maximum strength. Kemuel figured that if there were any other stages then it wouldn't be much.

However reaching stage three on his own was already this strong and Kemuel had already witnessed stage four. A terrifying strength that was even capable of regenerating his body.

“Prepare yourself or you will die without ever knowing it.” Rigel stretched out his right hand and flicked his finger.

The blue light flashed and immediately Rigel disappeared from his place, Kemuel went looking but before he could react a powerful kick hit him in the face. He was knocked down by several meters due to the powerful attack.

Kemuel took a foothold and looked at Rigel who flicked his finger, he disappeared again and this time Kemuel managed to hold him back. Rigel widened his eyes and flicked his finger again.

He kept disappearing and was in the air. Rigel stretched out his finger, forming a gun with his index finger and thumb, immediately the light gathered and shot out like a laser.

Kemuel crossed his arms and formed a shield of light, holding it back until his shield cracked but managed to survive. He clucked in annoyance and looked at the other Seraphim who seemed to be arguing violently with the other Heroes.

‘I can't expect their help.’,

Fortunately he was only fighting one because if there was anyone other than Rigel then he would have a hard time fighting, there was no chance of winning this fight. Even just dealing with Rigel does not guarantee him a win because there is a bigger presentation for defeat.

“Sounds a little trick won't work for you. Then how about this ..”

Rigel who was floating in the air extended his hand to the sky in silence. The sky began to rumble and a blue thunderbolt grabbed Rigel's hand. Kemuel looked at him with surprise, so he remembered someone with the same strength as Rigel.

“It's similar but not the same. You have troublesome abilities like Barakiel.”

“Ya, and I still have many other things.” Rigel smiled meaningfully.

During the time of peace waiting for the war, Rigel had gone to a remote place to understand further the power of the Void. He studied each of the stages and found there were many advantages that he never realized.

Void Stage One — Exposure. Not only able to negate all forms of any object, this ability is also able to negate things that cannot be seen by the eye. Rigel has done it before and it's true.

For stage two, the creation of the world. Power that is very suitable with the ability of Creator, because it is able to form an entirely new element. Examples of magic include elements from life, and Rigel can create other elements despite having very strict restrictions.

While the third stage, the Birth of the Gods. With this stage Rigel was able to use a small portion of the power of the Gods unconditionally. Surely he could not use all of them especially the God forging Hephaestus. Rigel had tried it because he wanted to make an Artifact but it failed because of something he did not understand.

Even so Rigel did not complain much because he was able to use a small portion of the God Power.

Kemuel underestimated him because his body had high resistance to any magic. When he received it raw, his body felt burning and emitted black smoke. As his body was limp, unable to stand, he knelt down and looked at Rigel furiously.

“What the fuck is ..”

Rigel just dropped another thunderbolt and this time in large numbers. Kemuel made his best effort to dodge and survive, this time he did not try to accept it raw because he knew how great the power of its destruction was.

“I'll tell you this stupid one ..”

The lightning Rigel uses is the lightning that the Gods have and is different from ordinary magic. Generally to create the phenomenon of magic required the use of mana, the larger the phenomenon, the greater the consumption.

But the power of the Gods is different because it does not require any mana as energy to create the phenomenon. Rigel himself did not know what energy was being used but no matter how hard he thought, this mystery would never be solved.

Kemuel stared in disbelief, only in this war he was constantly surprised by both Rigel and Hazama but the difference, if with Hazama made Kemuel give his respect and dedication in their battle, was, only with Rigel Kemuel was scared.

“Such power should not be possessed by humans. Where can you get it?!!” Kemuel got angry and jumped up very quickly.

Rigel slumped, Kemuel's fist right in front of his face but he had time to react and hold it with his hand even though it still crashed very strongly. Rigel managed to hold back his fall but his lips were slightly dripping with blood.

Kemuel's punch did not directly hit him but was clearly strong enough to injure without touching, no matter what happens if Rigel receives the raw bogem, maybe his face has been destroyed in such a way.

“Where I got it is none of your business. The job of a dog is to receive food from its master without needing to know where it came from. It's the same with you who only have to accept my attacks to die, without needing to know anything.”

“Your belief is absolute, huh? But is it true that you can kill me not just nonsense?”

Rigel collects electricity in his hands and fights Kemuel. The scene in the air would seem like two flashes of blue and gold clashing against each other violently. The atmosphere vibrates and anyone who sees it will have the desire not to be near it.

In the quick fight Rigel felt cold sweat running through his back. Two great powers were moving rapidly towards him. There was no need to ask anymore because those two powers were the full strength of the Demon and Angel army.

If they join forces before Rigel kills Kemuel and the rest of the Seraphim as much as possible then the situation will be very difficult, they lack people to deal with the situation.

The reason Rigel moves faster than schedule is because of the very adverse calculation. Letting Ozaru and Takumi face Leviathan and Sandalphone is not a bad choice because their fight is over.

‘But only then does not twist the fact that we are outnumbered for the people who can compete.’

Nadia is still recovering from her curse and Petra is no longer able to fight. Rigel could ask Leo to use Phoenix Tear to recover Petra but Leo's departure in the current situation will only make things worse.

‘Maybe I should leave it to Natalia? It is wise but Leo does not seem to be able to release it.’

His fight with Jahoel was fierce and Leo had a few incisions on his face. Although they only fought pure sword techniques but the speed of the two did not make sense, until the stage where Rigel would not be able to follow the movement.

Rigel is worried that something will happen to Leo because he will become an important figure after this war ends. Only he is able to access Ciel and control it, Rigel is unable to entrust it to anyone other than Leo.

‘I and Hazama still have Blood Of Phoenix, there should be no problem bringing Nadia or Petra to this battlefield. Had one of them come close to death, the Blood of Phoenix would have been able to save.’

Unmitigated Rigel sends a small telepathy to Natalia despite her being in a tense fight. Surely he could use a small radio that every squad leader and other executive used but if so the plan would be revealed soon. In addition, there seems to be a certain disturbance due to the activity of the magic collision so that the radio waves can not be captured.

“Natalia, take Nadia and Petra to battle. As long as they can move freely no problem but if unconscious and need mental recovery further leave it.”
