Hero Creator: The Last Hero
Ch. 99 — Rigel Vs Kemuel II

Rigel held out a fist that emitted electricity and made Kemuel's hand vibrate as it smashed into each other's fists. Kemuel felt tormented, happy and scared at the same time. He did not regret draining all his strength on the blow as it was dangerous to receive a raw bogem from him.

With both hands Rigel gathered all the energy and fired it like a laser. Kemuel immediately built the Gates of Heaven to withstand the attack. His carriage shook and cracked, Kemuel imagining that if he was hit by an attack it would be impossible not to get hurt.

Without wasting any more time, Kemuel gave a counterattack using all his strength. He made a wall of light that locked Rigel and soon the oxygen that was inside the wall was gone.

“Whatever you are, without oxygen man cannot live.”

Kemuel watched Rigel make a painful face, his body was riveted and his eyes opened wide as if glaring at something. Kemuel narrowed down the protective covering Rigel and intended to destroy it slowly.

Rigid Rigel's fingers moved slightly and caused a phenomenon in which the shield was smashed to pieces. Kemuel clucked but refocused himself on the defensive.

He never knew where and when exactly Rigel would appear, he was able to switch places very quickly. Almost like teleportation, but the power should not be able to because of the barrier made by Jahoel.

Kemuel has little hope and tries to lure Rigel to give him the answer, “You have a lot of tricks, yes. It wasn't teleportation or Spatial but something else. Almost like you are able to move freely in a time that slows—”

The world he saw suddenly lacked its original color and turned into a starry night sky with a azure light-filled spot, the, everyone's movements stopped and Kemuel was able to see clearly the human face as well as the Seraphim who stopped making other looks. Kemuel thought he was exposed to illusions and wanted to break free but neither his hands nor his body obeyed his orders.

“You slightly missed.”

Rigel's voice was able to hear him at a very close distance. Kemuel realized that Rigel was talking right in his ear, because right now he was right behind him. He wanted to turn around yet what power because every part of his body was unwilling to obey his will.

“Not only does time slow down, but this is a condition where time actually stops, it is not. More precisely the conditions in which time does not affect it.”

From the visible structure and mana that enveloped this place, Kemuel did not understand it. He had never felt this kind of energy, something that existed in the world seemed to be gone and gone.

If time did not affect this place, then Kemuel thought whether this place was death? Because more than anything else death is the only thing that is not bound by time. Once living beings die, no matter how long time passes, they will remain in death.

“Good time, world, intervention of any kind will not affect it. Once you enter this world, my world, there will be no chance. For the record, this is where Tortoise history ends.”

Kemuel remembered the hero's fierce fight against Tortoise, the greatest calamity and not the class where the Hero would be able to deal with it. But in fact they succeeded thanks to the power of Rigel and at the end of the battle, the impossible phenomenon in which Tortoise crashed into the air.

No one knows for sure, but the Seraphim believe Rigel used the Territory to create the impossibility. And now Kemuel seems convinced by that theory.

Cruc!

Blood flowed out from his stomach, Kemuel vomited blood and tried to curse yet what power because his body did not move at all. He found Rigel's left hand piercing through his back.

“Kuizinkan you talk.” Rigel flicked his finger and gave Kemuel a chance to speak.

“Busty!”

Rigel covered his ears as Kemuel yelled cursing. With his left hand full of blood Rigel raises the gun and shoots it several times into Kemuel's stomach, then his legs and hands to make him suffer.

“Sialan ... Since when do you use it?” Kemuel wondered because during the battle he had never felt a power like the Territory attached.

It happened so suddenly and that's why Kemuel didn't have time to react. If he knew he would be trapped then Kemuel would use the Territory as well and have both of them destroyed. But Rigel's movements were faster than he expected.

“How, yes?” Rigel smiled mockingly and tilted his head, he shot Kemuel a few times before continuing his words, “Perhaps when you feel victory in plain sight when I am accidentally trapped by your petty strength.”

Kemuel felt ashamed of himself for not realizing this, all this time he had danced in Rigel's palm. There's nothing more embarrassing than this.

“Keparat ... So this is the end, huh?” Kemuel said flatly but there was no remorse or fear of death.

This raised suspicion for Rigel. Although there is a possibility that Angels are Satan-like beings who do not love their lives, Rigel doubts this fact.

The Seraphim are more emotional than humans, when they hear the news of the death of Kalkydras and Sandalphones, the Seraphim display an exaggerated look on their faces.

“I don't understand with you guys ..”

Rigel does not understand the Seraphim in that part, they do not care about Armageddon who comes and falls but when his fellow Seraphim die, they become angry and their emotions seem to be out of whack.

Even so there is a mismatch in some places because Rigel believes that what the Seraphim regret is not the death but something else.

“You may have seemed angry when news of Sandalphone and Kalkydras reached his death but I'm sure that's not what's bothering you. There is something else, certainly it came from Rafael. My heart can't calm down to let him live.”

Kemuel slightly furrowed his brows and made Rigel sure that there was something the Seraphim were hiding. Rigel thought back to it, Rafael is a healing angel but is his power really that limited?

It can't be just a cure because in fact he was able to fight a draw with Priscilla. If it assumes there is something that makes the Seraphim calm without worrying about his death then ...

“God Requiem— no, Ressurection.”

A power capable of resurrecting the dead, the Ressurection. Rigel had a thought that Rafael was capable of using it.

Kemuel widened his eyes and was stunned, he looked at Rigel in great surprise. Rigel hoped that his guess was correct but Kemuel was surprised by something else.

“God ... Requiem?”

“It seems you know him, yes. Songs from the Gods.” Rigel said indifferently.

“How can ... A human like you knows that? That, something that even Seraphim did not know other than the five of us.”

“Four, which means you, Michael, Barakiel, Samael and maybe Rafael?”

Kemuel seems reluctant to answer anything but it is no longer important now, “Not Rafael, but Lucifer. It shouldn't be something that humans like you know. From mana—”

“—where did I find out? If you know God Requiem then you should know from whom I got it.”

Kemuel choked on his own breath and was shaken as if knowing something he should not have known.

“If so, this war is meaningless. Even if Raphael used it, in this place my soul would vanish and not be able to rise.”

Hearing that Rigel was surprised because the Ressurection requirement was to have a whole soul. Rigel did not want to linger anymore and held Kemuel's face with his right hand.

“While winning this war, you won't be happy. Your suffering will continue because you are the chosen one ... To go to, Pillar Of Creation.” Kemuel smiled happily and in the last seconds the smile shattered along with his head.
