Ch. 107 — Takumi Vs Samael

“Now how do you face me, Hero?”

With almost all of his senses rendered useless there was no sure way Takumi could deal with it. He wanted to use his sixth sense yet it would be difficult and there was no guarantee of success.

All of his senses were obscured and it was not impossible that way with the sixth sense. Any information he receives from his body cannot be taken for granted because it may be misleading. If he makes a bad move then everything will be over.

‘Using Territory also can not because we are already in a region. Even if I can make it there is no guarantee this darkness will disappear.’

The territory may be active for some time but Takumi hesitates about being able to do something with it. He needs another plan that has a higher probability of succeeding.

“You can't see, can't feel. Only the ears are working and it's hard to confirm my location with just sound. What are you gonna do? This is true power, unlike you who borrowed power from weapons.”

Takumi is just an ordinary teenager in general who suddenly comes to another world and gains extraordinary powers. He never expected it and never expected it either, as a human from earth, something like Heroes and magic was a fairy tale.

But now that everything is real, Takumi is able to use magic and become a Hero. Even though his strength is only a loan, but here he is the one who decides to use it.

“It is true that this power is only a loan and not something I really get with effort. But you should know that all this time I developed it, this Power chose me for its speed. And no matter how you bring me down, hold tight to my words that you will die.”

Takumi stuck out his two spears and closed his eyes, he let all his thoughts and emotions go blank. Pulling the green runes from the present level his body was fed with great power. Without the need for anyone to see it they know because they can feel it.

“Curse Series ..”

The power that he stored for a long time and only used little by little will now be withdrawn completely, “... Power Idler.”

Having no lust and no desire other than to finish it immediately, the slacker only wants to spend his eternal time in death after all his duties are done.

In that dark world only his eyes and runes shone brightly, then another spear-shaped light lit up in the dark. Samael was amazed that such a great power would have no effect in this place. If only Rigel had really used his power then no doubt this place would have been destroyed.

Samael did not understand what reason Rigel just tasted it without any serious effort to destroy it. Whether because you believe in your partner or do not want to waste time, now is not a problem.

“You're great. I'll tell you, to destroy this place you only need to destroy my right hand that holds the control of this place completely. If you can!”

“... doesn't care. I want to just die after this task is done.” His consciousness was clearly snatched away by the lazy nature as well as the cursed sin that could be possessed by man.

Without another sentence Takumi darted and was right in front of Samael. He swung both of his spears together and was fended off but the three huge spears that floated up started attacking as if he had his own thoughts.

Samael dodged and held on, he swallowed one spear of light but soon the spear was replaced by another. With his left hand he implemented all his strength to deliver a huge blow right on Takumi's chest, “Darkness!”

His punch was so powerful that it made his chest armor dent and ribs have cracks but the dominance of the slacker allowed him to avoid pain during his curse. The pain will be felt later and there is a big fight against the pain.

Takumi threw away his armor and clothes that were starting to tattered, he staggered his way then ran fast. He threw Gungnir's spear and Samael had to hold it with his left hand as his artificial shield shattered momentarily upon it.

“Interesting, keep dancing!”

“Javelin.”

“Light Shield!” Samael used a light shield and protected himself, “Do not think I can only use dark power.”

“Tak cares also.” Instead of using a spear this time Takumi deployed a kick that made Samael pushed back.

While facing Takumi, Samael felt a cold sweat on his back. A huge spear was falling towards him, the spear cut through the dimensions and reached faster towards him.

“Sial!” Samael exerted his full strength to swallow the spear.

Other than his great strength, his right hand was currently unusable so it took Samael a long time to swallow it. He thought he would be able to do so but Takumi looked surmised and darted forward.

He used his own powerful attack as bait in order to get close.

‘Takkkan!’ Samael thought for too long and Takumi was already in front of him.

The two spears were stretched out, Takumi turned around and cut Samael's right hand, he slammed his spear into the ground firmly. In a slow second, the darkness began to disappear and the world returned to its original color.

“Do not be arrogant!” Samael shouted loudly and pushed his head forward, with his strong teeth he bit Takumi's left shoulder, twisted it and managed to break it.

Fresh blood flowed and for the first time Takumi who was in the slacker curse experienced a painful face. Such a class wound was impossible not to cause pain, one would not get used to it by pain.

“Eyes paid eyes, and hands paid by hand.” Samael spat in an attempt to throw Takumi's flesh and blood behind.

Staring at his right hand, Samael was shocked at not being able to recover. He realized there was a small fire in his wound and his rotting flesh was also slowly charred. Samael cut off the part but was useless as the fire re-emerged and the flesh continued to rot.

“I don't understand it. What kind of curse is this that even a high angel like me cannot eliminate?”

“You're lazy. Lazy is a sin and the more lazy the greater the curse.” Takumi said as he yawned and walked over.

“So so. It's true that all this time I lived my life lazily. With no interest in anything for a long time since Lucifer was kicked out of heaven. So I reap what I sow. It's annoying but at the same time fun. You really didn't disappoint me.”

Samael no longer seemed to take it as much pleasure as before. The hero before him was clearly strong and there was a fatal weakness where the strength of laziness was very effective against him.

“Did he already take this into account? You are a natural enemy that I should avoid but your friend Rigel seems to foresee that I will not escape.”

Only Takumi can defeat him because only he uses the power of laziness. Even Rigel himself was incapable of using such power. Although it could kill him with a Void but it would be too wasteful of its power and reveal its card.

“So much as you say. Let's finish it before you bleed to death.” Takumi stretched out his spear, despite having only one hand but his spear playing posture was not disturbed at all.

Spear is a weapon that requires two hands because not only long but the control is also more complicated than playing a sword. Thanks to its length it should be very difficult to use a spear with just one hand.

The majority of spear users would only use spears and no other weapon assistance. Of course there are cases where they carry shields or ride horses but each attack is the same, just stabbing.

“You are completely out of control. I hate to talk, hate to waste time, but this war takes away all those feelings. Even so unfortunately I still hate arrogant bastards like you so much. Last time there was a guy like that, I kicked him out of heaven.”

Samael gathered his strength in his left hand. Strong gravity pulled Takumi to the ground and kneeled as Samael continued to gather dark energy. Looking at his changed eyes, Samael's current appearance was more inclined towards the demons rather than the angels.

“You must have seen this, the light and darkness put together. That lizard, Acnologia was able to balance it out because Michael gave away a fraction of my power.”

A fraction of his strength was more than enough to overwhelm all Heroes greatly. The battle against Acnologia was a huge turning point where it encouraged the Heroes to further optimize the skills they had.

After many years later they learn the Hero's weapon and are finally able to use it to its full potential. Although there were some who looked flawed yet it was inevitable that they were much stronger than before.

But still, there was no guarantee even for Takumi to be able to deal with the power. In comparison, Acnologia's power of light and darkness was just a joke before Samael.
