LET ME BE HAPPY

LET ME BE HAPPY
chapter 13

Gegas Devin leaves the hotel in search of Adinda's whereabouts. His three-day stay should be cancel. Devin cursed his actions that have made Adinda wait until now Adinda prefers to leave.

Devin repeatedly contacted Adinda, connected but not picked up. Even now Adinda's phone is off. Devin scooped his face rough. All the possibilities that flashed in his mind made his head feel dizzy.

There's no way Devin's been contacting his parents to ask about Adinda's whereabouts. If he did, it would be the same as digging his own grave.

Devin drives his car to Adinda's rented house. Because Devin believes that Adinda can't go home to Devin's parents. He did not care about the exasperation of the other riders because Devin drove his car at an above average speed.

Devin rushed down after arriving at Adinda's contract. Devin took a breath and exhaled it repeatedly. Devin tries to open the door, but it is locked. Devin peeked out of the window hoping that Adinda was inside. Unfortunately, there seems to be no sign of life in it.

"Loh son of Devin! Who do you think you were," exclaimed Lastri's mother. Lastri's mother was sitting on the porch of her house. Seeing that there was a suspicious person in Adinda's house, he came to her.

"Eh, yes, ma'am." Devin smiled clumsyly.

"Where is my son?" lastri's mother turned her head to the right and left looking for Adinda's whereabouts.

"From the question of Miss Lastri can be sure that Adinda is not here," said Devin.

"Adinda's not coming with Mom. I'd like to pick up what's missing, ma'am, but I forgot I didn't bring the key." Devin reasoned so because he did not want Lastri's mother to suspect that her purpose was to come here just to ensure the existence of Adinda.

"Owalaah. Didn't Devin know that Adinda's son had handed over the keys to the owner of the contract? She said she said after marriage wanted to stay at her husband's house" explained Lastri's mother.

"Oh sorry Mom I forgot. Then excuse me, ma'am." Devin just found out about this fact. But he did not want anyone to suspect.

"Oh yeah. Be careful Devin," said Lastri's mother.

Devin nodded towards Lastri's mother while commenting on the smile. He rushes his car back towards the highway. This time, it was Adinda's boutique.

Devin parked his car after arriving at Adinda's boutique. Slowly he entered the shop. It was seen that Alia who was busy serving p******n and Sinta who were just as busy behind the cashier table.

"Sorry, is there a presence inside?" devin asked Alia.

"Sir Devin!" Alia turned her body and was surprised to see the Existence of Devin before her.

"Yes me. Is it inside?" devin asked once more while pointing at the door of Adinda's closed room.

"Oh yes Sir. Adinda's mother is inside" replied Alia.

"thank you. Then excuse me to go inside first." Without waiting for Alia's reply, Devin's gurgas stepped towards the room where Adinda was now.

Tok to tok.

Devin knocked on the door of Adinda's room. Actually, he could have just barged straight inside considering this was the wife's workroom. However, it felt really disrespectful if Devin went straight in without being invited.

"Lake in!" adinda from within. Makes Devin exhale a sigh of relief.

Turn the door handle and Devin steps in. Not to forget Devin also closed the door again. It looks like Adinda is busy scratching paper.

"Din!" exclaim Devin.

Deg.

She was shocked to hear Devin's voice calling out to her. Suddenly he raised his head. At first glance they look at. A second later Adinda threw her gaze to the side. The pencil that had been thrown by surprise. Then he resumed the activity of drawing a shirt design order p******n.

Devin sits himself in a chair facing Adinda, who is only limited by the table. He looked at Adinda who was focused on designing as if Devin's existence was like an invisible creature.

"Sorry," said Devin. The net still does not switch to look at Adinda.

Devin scooped up the oxygen greedily and exhaled it violently. The vow! Devin most disliked being ignored like this by Adinda.

"Sorry I didn't come back last night." Devin hated this awkwardness.

"Oh, it's ok," replied Adinda flat.

"You mad?" What a silly question. However, Devin wanted to confirm it himself.

"What is angry for. You said just for a minute, right? It's not even 1×24 hours." Adinda raised her head and stared right at Devin's bead of eyes.

Devin. The anger and sadness in Adinda's eyes mingled into one. Devin felt very guilty. Devin could never see Adinda grieving because she would also feel the same sadness.

Tok to tok.

A knock at the door instantly diverted their attention. Unraveling the awkwardness that had been ready to spurt lava.

"Lake in!" adinda's Instructions

"Excuse me ma'am, the client from CS Resto has arrived" Sinta explained at the doorstep.

"Have him come in" said Adinda, as she went to the sofa. He did not ignore Devin's presence in his room.

"Okay ma'am," Sinta replied as she stepped out

Shortly after, someone who was meant to step into the room. The man stopped in front of Adinda. For a moment they were both surprised.

"Mayo!" yell that guy.

"Mazur!" sis Adinda Lirih was still in the same shock.

"Hey, how are you? Long time no see." Candra thrust her hand towards Adinda who was immediately greeted with a big smile by Adinda.

"Sit down Dra!" Adinda lets Candra sit on the couch. Then they engage in chatter that is occasionally accompanied by laughter.

Devin clenched his hand. His jaw hardened with teeth grinding against each other. It seemed that he could not accept the sight he saw before his eyes.

The sight of Adinda who always smiles and occasionally laughs with other men makes it hot. Though a few minutes ago Adinda put on a cold face and put a flat expression on him. But look now, Adinda did not even consider her existence.

"Ehem!" Devin cleared his throat so they would realize his existence. Instantly the echoing laughter stopped suddenly.

Devin stood up and went to the sofa where Adinda and the man named Candra were sitting. Devin shook himself beside Adinda.

"He's who's Din?" ask Candra. Shocked he saw a man who was now sitting beside Adinda looking at him with a hostile look.

"He-she"

"Include me, I'm Devin, her husband Adinda." Devin cut off what Adinda was going to say. Even now with his leisure Devin admitted as the husband of Adinda.

Adinda sighed softly. He rolled a lazy eyeball. Angered by Devin's attitude that has managed to tear apart his feelings, and all that did not escape Candra's vision. Makes Candra smile thin.

"I'm Candra, Adinda's High School friend and her ex-Adinda who is still waiting for her," I Candra as she shook Devin's hand.

The cold AC is not able to cool the room temperature that suddenly heats up. Adinda was shocked by the statements of the two people that she had never predicted before. Devin, who recognizes himself as a husband, has made Adinda shocked. Plus Candra's statement that said she was still waiting for him, made Adinda really want to drown herself in the sea.

Devin tries to suppress his anger. His gaze sharply unsheathed onto Candra's bead of eyes. Candra also replied no less sharply.
