Adinda POV
Today is my schedule to check the content. Actually during pregnancy, I did not experience any significant pregnancy problems. But still, I had to check my pregnancy as early as possible to avoid things that I did not want.
Oma Fani volunteered to drive me on the grounds that she was so worried about me. I refused because there was nothing to worry about. Even though Ima is eighty-two years old now, she still looks fresh. It's just that I don't want to trouble oma and make her exhausted. So, I asked oma Fani to just rest.
On the way to the hospital I felt like someone was following me. Or maybe it was just my feeling. Ah, I can't think too much. Because a mind that does not will cause a bad influence on my womb.
Arriving at the hospital, I asked Mr. Rudi to wait for me in the car. It is uncomfortable if everywhere should be escorted like a princess. Then I stepped into this hospital for sure.
"Din!" that familiar voice caught my nose as I set foot in the hospital lobby.
I turned my back to make sure I didn't hear wrong. He, the man who had once reigned in the trough of souls, was now standing not far in front of me. I need to be able to control myself, even though this brain automatically replayed every terrible scene.
"Why did you come here? You sick?" the tanyanya while eroding the distance between us.
My God, is Devin following me? What am I supposed to say? I'm not ready if Devin finds out about this pregnancy. Me, I'm really not ready.
"Din, I'm sorry." I gasped in shock as Devin suddenly knelt at my feet.
"Dev, what are you doing?" my many. I turn my head to the right and to the left. There were a lot of eyes looking at us.
"Dev, please stand up. Please don't be like this" I asked.
"I beg you, forgive me" he said, taking my hand.
"Ok, I'm sorry, but please stand up now." This kind of position makes me very uncomfortable.
"Thank you, Din," he said.
I breathed a sigh of relief because Devin finally did not kneel at my feet anymore. However, I was very surprised when Devin suddenly hugged me tightly. Cold sweat started to wash over my body. My chest feels so tight. After that I don't remember anything anymore.
I opened my eyes slowly. I cried out hysterically when around me there were many faces resembling Devin. I was really scared that they would do something that would hurt me. A few moments later, I fell asleep again. I don't know what medicine they put in my intravenous fluids.
I opened my eyes after sleeping long enough. I turned my head towards the sofa in this room. I smiled when I found oma sitting while reading the newspaper.
"Oma," called out to me which made oma Fani instantly look at me.
"Darling, are you awake?" asked oma as she walked up to me.
I just smiled and nodded. I exhaled a sigh of relief. At least this time Oma Fani was really real, not a mere hallucination. It means my mind is calm again.
"Can I help you?" ask oma while pulling a chair next to the patient's cage and sitting herself down.
"Thank you, because Oma is always there for Adin. Adin love Oma," I said sincerely.
"Oma also loves Oma's granddaughter. Oma apologize to you, dear. Had Oma been unselfish, maybe you could have had more happiness than this." Oma Fani was so sorry for her past actions.
"Oma don't be sad anymore. All that's over. Now Adin feels very happy to be reunited with Oma, father, and also opa," I said.
I slowly wiped away the tears that were dripping down the cheeks of Oma Fani. Having them in my life is one of the most wonderful gifts God has given me. When I lost a mother, when I could not rely on my spouse, God sent an answer to my prayers through them.
So, which other delights should I deny? Rainbows always appear in my life after a storm. Although it can be said that my life is not as smooth as an unimpeded highway, but I am grateful to still be able to feel the pleasure in every journey of my life that is winding and sometimes steep.
The door slowly opened, spouting a handsome male figure in his great clothes. The man who a few days ago made me insomnia because of his words I couldn't predict before. The male owner of the sweet smile that looks as*y and seductive.
I patted my forehead slowly. Woah, what am I thinking? Where maybe that easily I was fascinated by his charm that was indeed charming. Uh, that's it. Get up Din, get up, hadeee.
"What's up, honey? Is anyone sick?" ask ifa Fani is worried.
"No, Oma. Adin is okay. Oh yeah, same opa where's Oma?" ask me to divert the conversation.
"They're still on the road. We'll be there soon" replied oma.
Screaming doctor Ivan smiled at me as he examined my condition. I turned my face to the side. Don't let Ivan's doctor realize that I was wrong just because I saw his smile.
"How's my grandson doing, Doc?" oma asked after seeing doctor Ivan had finished checking my condition.
"It's improved, Oma. Even tonight you can go home" replied Ivan.
"Allah, thank goodness then. Honey, you can go home tonight" said the enthusiast.
I just smiled and nodded towards the oma. The view of Doctor Ivan who had never escaped me, somehow makes this tongue feel mute. Or maybe it's just my feeling because it's still ringing in the words that Ivan's doctor said the other day.
"Assalamualaikum" exclaimed two men who were now stepping into this room.
"Waalaikumsalam," the three of us answered in unison.
"I'm sorry, then" said Ivan to us.
"Where are you, baby?" ask dad while stroking my hair.
"Alhamdulillah has improved, Dad. In fact, Adin can now go home" I replied.
"Alhamdulillah. Then I'll take care of the administration first," Dad said.
"Ma, Pa, sign Adinda. Fathan wants to take care of the administration first," said father as he moved out.
After all the work in the hospital was done, we went home. On the way, I felt like someone was following our car. However, I did not tell this to the others. Because it could be just my feeling. Ever since that incident, I don't know why I've always felt so scared all of a sudden. However, until we entered the alley leading to the house, the car followed us from behind.
