"Whataa? Stupided?" Devin is shocked and distrustful of his mother's statement.
"Don't do it, baby!" Intan just bobbing his head to see the behavior of the child.
"Ma, I'm the same Adinda is only limited to the validity of Ma. I've even considered him Ma's sister. Mama why the hell make the decision not to negotiate with me first?" furious Devin did not accept the decision of his mother who was considered hasty.
"Devin, Devin's. How Mama wants to negotiate this matchmaking with you, while at that time Mama just married not yet. There's just you." Intan laughed in response to her son's silly question.
"Mama can ask me first. What don't I want to be set up." Devin exhaled a rough breath.
"Don't you love the same sister? If you've met, it'll always be sticky like a postage stamp. It won't be hard to cultivate love between you." Intan was inexhaustible why his son refused his betrothal to Adinda.
"But Ma-" Devin is still trying to negotiate with Intan.
"There's no but-but. I don't want to hear rejection." Intan cuts Devin's word. Then he grabbed the bag beside him and prepared to leave.
"I already have Ma's girlfriend. I also intend to propose to him in the near future" explained Devin.
Intan stopped his steps. He sat himself back on the sofa. His eyes squinted at the helpless looking down son.
"Who? Since when?" Intan interrogated his son like a defendant.
"Liona Ma's. Two weeks ago," Devin replied. He's still down. Dare not look at his mother. His fingers clinging to each other signified how nervous he was at the moment.
"Devin, look at the interlocutor. The floor was more attractive than the beautiful Mama after a long day."
Devin immediately raised his head. He rolled a lazy eyeball. He was caught off guard against the mama's already acute level.
"Who did you say? Liona's? Danu's son is Mirna?" ask Intan.
"Yes Ma." Devin nodded his head.
"Mama does not agree you have a relationship with them" said Intan
"Why Ma?" Devin frowned confusedly.
"Don't ask me why. One day you will know for yourself. Come home later tonight. Mama also invited Adinda to dinner at home to discuss your wedding." Intan stood up and left her son's apartment.
"Akkkhh!"
Devin squeezed his hair in frustration. My mother's aura was very intimidating. Every spoken word is an indisputable command. Devin would rather deal with clients than argue with his mother. All the arguments he conveyed were only considered the wind then by Intan.
---
"Hello **S**honey!"
"..............."
"I'm meeting with a client outside."
"............."
"When I'm done meeting I call you."
"............."
"Bye dear, I miss you too!"
The woman smiled cynically at the phone she was holding. A warm breath of someone swept over his nape. The sturdy arm was coiled possessively on his waist.
"Do you love her?" ask the man.
"You've always made me angry with Liona. Once more?"
---
"Darling, get Devin in his room. It's time for dinner," tell Intan to Adinda.
"Good Aunt." Adinda nodded her head and threw the sweetest smile towards Intan.
Adinda stepped towards Devin's room. His heart beat erratically as his footsteps climbed the stairs to the second floor.
Ever since Adinda knew that she was in a match with Devin, since then the communication between her and Devin began to tenuous. Adinda's steps came to a halt in front of Devin's room. He took a breath and exhaled slowly. He's got to neutralize his heartbeat.
Tok to tok.
He knocked on the door but there was no answer.
Tok to tok.
"Dev, it's dinner time. Auntie just waiting for us downstairs!" Once again Adinda knocked on Devin's room door and called out to him. But no, there is still no answer.
Adinda pushed slowly the door to Devin's room that did not close perfectly. His head turned inward. Scanning the entire room. But what he expected he could not find.
Slowly his feet went inside. There was water behind the bathroom door. She raised her hand to knock on the door, just as the bathroom door was perfectly open. A moment Adinda made pecking with the appearance of the god's most glorious creature before him. So also with Devin who was surprised to see the presence of Adinda in his room.
"Ohhhhhh!" She screamed and ran away as her consciousness began to gather.
Devin himself was still silent at the bathroom door. Then she walked into the closet to get her clothes.
"Oh God, I forgot to convey my purpose of coming to his room." Adinda patted her eel and turned her steps back towards Devin's room.
Tok to tok.
"Dev, it's dinner time. Om and aunt are waiting at the dinner table!" call Adinda.
"Yes, wait a minute. I'm still dressed!" sahut Devin from his room.
Adinda blushed considering the incident just now. The perfectly sculpted torn bread made him gulp down the saliva. Her cheeks blushed like tomatoes. She tries to banish the mind that is not-no which is now starting to poison her mind. It's not worth it that he thinks about it. He also came down in a hurry.
---
Finish dinner Adinda help bi Inah clean up the dining table. Intan had banned it but Adinda insisted. Being near Devin made him even more misbehaved.
Now they gather in the family room to discuss the betrothal of Adinda and Devin. Of course the most enthusiastic here is Intan. He was very excited to immediately fulfill the promise he had agreed with his late friend.
"Good steps good intentions are immediately implemented. How about we do the wedding next month. Enough time to prepare everything." Bima gave a suggestion that made Adinda and Devin gawk.
"Mama agrees Pa. The sooner the better. I can't wait to hold my granddaughter." Without Intan realizing his words made Adinda and Devin choke.
"Uhuk uhuk uhuk." Adinda and Devin coughed at the same time.
"You are destined to be a match. Just cough up to that." Intan giggled amusedly while thrusting two glasses of water towards them.
"Oh my goodness Ma. Please say the words in the filter. Kids until they're coughing like gini!" Bima commemorates his wife who was replied by a whimper by his wife.
After their condition began to improve, the topic of discussion was resumed. A final decision was made that their marriage would take place next month.
Devin tries to resist by saying that he has a lover on his papa. She hoped her father could cancel this match. However, the reaction of Bima is the same as Intan. Still no rejection. Inevitably the marriage should still be carried out.
The sister herself was silent. He is going through this match. She just hopes Devin will never hate her and learn to accept it all.
