After more than an hour Adinda visited, she then resigned because she did not want to let Devin wait too long. Adinda reached into her phone and typed a message on her husband not to pick her up. Adinda is too focused on her phone to realize there is a car that is speeding towards her.
"Adinda, lookout!" exclaim Devin.
"Aakkhhh," cried Adinda.
BRAKKKIS...
The sound of siren ambulances and police cars mingled together. She could only cry to see her rescue man severely injured. In the crowd, Adinda felt lonely. The voice of the people who were simple to each other seemed to sound like a gust of wind.
Medical teams assisted by several residents to carry the victim to be transferred to the ambulance car. Adinda participates and sits next to a man who is still at home closing his eyes. During the journey, Adinda never stop reciting prayers so that everything is fine. Grasped tightly the hand of the soulmate accompanied by the roar of tears.
Sipap the medical team pushed the brakar to the ER for immediate treatment. She could only wait outside alone. If allowed, he willingly accompanied in there.
Shortly after, Sinta who was still wearing her wedding dress came running to Adinda. Aldo, Sinta's husband also accompanied his wife. Sinta couldn't have continued the party, while her best friend was grieving.
"Din," said Sinta.
Adinda raised her head. She stood up and hugged her best friend. His face was filled with tears. He did not care about the sight of those who looked at him pityingly. Adinda just wants to reduce the sense of tightness that whack.
"Patience, Din. Rest assured everything will be fine." Sinta was also hit by the incident that befell his best friend. Slowly Sinta rubbed Adinda's back to give a little calm.
Adinda did not answer. His tongue was too faint to speak. Sister broke her embrace. The tears that flow nonstop.
Sinta led Adinda back to sit in the waiting chair. His eyes are also glazed.
"You should treat your wounds first, Din," Sinta suggested when he saw his best friend's arm was injured. However, Adinda flinch as if Sinta's words were just the wind.
Sinta asks for a P3K box on a passing nurse. He painstakingly helped to treat Adinda who was like a lifeless body.
Alia came a while later. Alia had arrived at her house when Sinta informed her that Adinda had an accident in front of her house. He rushed back to the hospital location sent by Sinta.
"Din!" exciting Alia. Alia hugged Adinda who had finished being treated by Sinta. He was sad to see his friend sad like this.
Moments later, the ER door slowly opened. Sigap Adinda stood up when she saw the doctor coming out of the ER room.
"Family patient?" ask doctor.
"I, Doc. I'm his wife" Adinda replied as she walked up to the doctor, followed by Sinta and Alia.
Adinda's heart was crossed when she saw the face of the doctor without a smile. Hopefully what is on his mind is just prejudice.
"Sorry, Ma'am. His mother was patient. We tried our best. But God wants something else" said the doctor.
Adinda's knees felt weak to hear from the doctor about the condition of her husband. Should a wedding that's only a corn-time end up here? He still hoped that what he heard was just a dream. However, when he pinched his own arm it hurt, meaning clearly this was not a dream. His head hurt and a moment later everything was dark.
"Mayo!" exclaims Sinta and Alia in unison.
Ivan arrived at the hospital. He went straight to the operating room. However, the operation is not done because the patient has first exhaled his last breath.
After expressing his condolences to the patient's family, Ivan asked permission to follow his wife. After getting permission, Ivan rushed forward his car to catch up with Adinda.
Ivan deliberately did not tell Adinda that he was on his way to the residence of his wife's friend. Ivan smiled, impatient to meet his wife. Even though he had met this morning, but somehow it feels like he misses his wife very much.
In less than three hours, Ivan has now arrived at his destination. He smiled as he watched his wife walk out of the reception. He came down to approach Adinda who walked down while playing her phone. Ivan stepped slowly with a gaze that only focused on his wife.
"Adinda, lookout!" exclaim Devin.
Ivan gasped when he heard Devin's scream. He saw a car speeding towards his wife. Without a second thought Ivan ran as hard as he could to save Adinda.
"Aakkhhh," cried Adinda.
Ivan tried to save Adinda. But ill-fated, his legs stumbled so he could only push his wife to the edge.
BRAKKKIS...
Ivan's body slammed far enough. Everyone who witnessed the incident shouted hysterically. Some tried to help Adinda and Ivan, while others tried to stop the car that had caused the accident.
"Are you okay, Din?" ask Devin worriedly.
"My husband, Dev." The younger brother approached Ivan who was weakly helpless.
Devin immediately contacted the ambulance and the police. At first glance Devin saw the hit-and-run perpetrator who was judged by the citizens. Between accompanying Adinda or finding out about the identity of the perpetrator. Devin chose to step foot to accompany Adinda.
"Din, soon the ambulance will come" said Devin. He crouched down near the crying Adinda.
Adinda budging. He just sat weakly near the body of Ivan who drenched dar@h. Devin could not bear to watch the scene before him. He wanted to grab Adinda's body and take her in his arms, but he was aware of her status. Finally he decided to see the perpetrator who had been herded into one of the houses.
"You!" exclaim Devin. His jaw hardened when he saw the collision perpetrator was a person he was very familiar with.
"Why are you here? Shouldn't you still be in jail? You must have intentionally done all this?" cecar Devin's.
It was like Devin was venting his emotions on the woman who had once stopped in his heart. However, he did not want to dirty his own hands by committing crimes.
"I-I didn't mean it, Dev," said Liona. Yes, the perpetrator of the collision was Liona who held a grudge on Adinda. He thought that Adinda was the cause of his fractured relationship with Devin.
Before long, the ambulance and police car arrived at the TKP. Devin leaves Liona still begging him. Devin immediately rushed over to Adinda. However, Adinda had already gotten into the ambulance that would take her husband.
"Sorry, Sir. Can you come with us as witnesses?" ask one of the cops to Devin.
"Well, sir," replied Devin. Let her catch up with Adinda when her dealings with Liona at the police station are over.
