Silence enveloped the journey of Adinda and Devin. Currently, Devin drove Adinda home because of Intan's insistence. Devin's gaze was straight ahead behind the steering wheel. Adinda herself prefers to see the scenery on her left side.
"Ehem." Devin cleared his throat to melt the awkward atmosphere between them.
Adinda turned her gaze towards Devin. Again the strange hissing infiltrated without permission when their netra clashed. Adinda cut off their views. He would rather see vehicles back and forth out there than have his heart health threatened.
"We need to talk to Din!" Devin said with the netra still focused on the street in front of him.
"Yes Dev. We have much to say about this match." Adinda herself is not sure whether the discussion with Devin will find the best solution.
"Tomorrow, I'll take you home from work. Now rest, it's night." Devin stopped his car in the yard of Adinda's house.
"I went in first Dev," said Adinda when she got out of Devin's car.
"Yes, I'll go home to Din, bye!" Devin waved his hand towards Adinda who was still standing beside Devin's car.
"Yes, be careful on the road!" Adinda replied to Devin's hand.
Devin slowly drove his car across the highway. Her mind branched between Adinda and her lover, Liona. He really hopes that whatever his decision tomorrow is the best option for everyone.
---
It was almost midnight, but Adinda did not fall asleep. Trying to close the eyes even though drowsiness is not felt. However, repeatedly trying to close his eyes, Devin repeatedly danced in his mind. Her net glared upwards staring at the ceiling of the room. To be honest, he feels happy to be with someone he loves. But love cannot be forced.
"May I selfishly expect you to love me one day, making me the only queen in your heart. Be my protector as it was a long time ago. I hope that whatever your decision will never be able to create distance between us" said Adinda.
---
Devin leaned himself on his seat of greatness. She massaged her temples that felt dizzy. Thinking about what steps to take made her dizzy.
Tok to tok.
The knock on the door instantly pulled him back into the real world. Devin took a heavy breath and exhaled it violently.
"Excuse me sir." Aditya the assistant knocked on the boss's office door.
"Lake in!" devin's Instructions
Aditya pressed the door handle and stepped in. Not to forget, he closed it back. Aditya steps towards Devin's desk and sits himself in the chair opposite Devin. Aditya submitted some files that Devin had to check and sign.
"Lemes very loe. Any more problems?" Aditya scans Devin's unusual facial features.
"Gue was betrothed and you know, I'm forced into marriage next month." Devin straightened his body and grabbed one by one the map that he had to check.
Devin and Aditya are friends since they wear white-gray uniforms. So, no wonder if they can be relaxed if they are both or outside of work hours.
"Comb." Aditya couldn't stop laughing. Astonished, the Devin who looks and his property is no doubt still to be matched. Then how is he doing who is limited to subordinates. If you can say eleven, twelve.
"Nyokap fooled me with Adinda." Devin explained what was troubling his mind.
"Where does the problem go? If I yes, who is fooled by Adinda, surely I will not refuse. She was beautiful, sweet, kind, and funny." Aditya smiles himself imagining the face of Adinda who always looks adorable.
Devin shook his head to look at Aditya who even imagined Adinda. Honestly, he felt uncomfortable if there were other men trying to get close to Adinda. However, this can be called jealousy, while his feelings for Adinda are only limited to affection as a friend.
"That's the problem, I'm now Dit's girlfriend!" obviously Devin
"What's? Wh who? Loe is not fun now Dev. I started playing with the same secrets." Aditya crossed his arms at the chest. His gaze was sharp towards Devin.
"This is also telling you!" Devin giggles at seeing his best friend acting like a child.
"Gue is dating Liona. It's been 2 weeks, over" he continued
"Loe, is he still Dev? It's not that David has often told us that Liona is not a good girl." Aditya reminds Devin of Liona's temperament, which David often reveals.
David is one of Devin's friends who works as a bartender. He once said he often saw Liona at the club where he worked. However, Devin never wanted to listen to David's explanation. To her, Liona was a good woman who could become the wife and mother of her children later.
She struggles to make Liona her lover. Although Liona refused her invitation to marry, but she was happy enough to be able to claim her as a lover.

As per the promise that has been agreed, now Devin pick up Adinda at his boutique. They're going to have dinner at a restaurant. Devin ordered a vip room to more freely discuss this.
After finishing dinner Devin started to open the chat.
"Din, did you accept this match?" ask Devin.
"Can I refuse?" Adinda replied to Devin's question with a question.
"Huft, fine then. Because we both can not refuse so we just live this matchmaking and because between us there is no love, so we can only marry pretend," explained Devin.
"meaning?" Adinda looked at Devin with a frown.
"Yes, that kind of contract marriage. Here I have the contract. Please check first. There may be points you want to change or you want to add." Devin handed out the marriage contract letter he made unilaterally after he thought it through carefully.
Adinda accepted it and began to read one by one the points listed there. It's nothing that harms him. However, the length of their marriage contract that would only last for a year made her chest tight.
"Whether our togetherness has meant nothing to you, so you feel reluctant to be my full companion. Oh my God, why does it feel so sick? If you were still here, would you still force me to undergo this matchmaking? The planned marriage hasn't even started yet, but these tears have fallen.'t quite yet." Adinda is only able to express her opinion in the heart.
His tongue was suddenly confused even if he just said that he objected to this decision. For him, marriage is only one time in a lifetime. However, he still grabbed the pen that Devin gave him. His fingers moved agilely affixing his signature.
"It's you who saved Din and the other I who kept." Devin handed over one of the signed contract letters to Adinda.
"May my decision be the best" said Adinda
