LET ME BE HAPPY

LET ME BE HAPPY
chapter 46

Drrtt...

The ringing of the phone on the nightstand woke Adinda from her nap. A cell phone that keeps ringing non-stop. Adinda frowned when she found an unknown number on the screen. Adinda put her phone back on until the call went off on its own.

Soon his phone rang back. It feels lazy to pick up a call from an unknown number. Adinda has changed her phone number since the incident. Only a few people know the new number.

Ting...

'Assalamualaikum's.' A message came in from the number that called him.

Adinda frowned confused. He tried to guess who the owner of the unknown number was calling him. In fact, the unknown number is now sending him a message.

'Waalaikumsalam. Sorry, who is this with?' Send, message instantly change two blue ticks.

There was no reply until a few minutes later, making Adinda squeak annoyed. Without Adinda knowing that someone across there is now neutralizing the heartbeat. The person repeatedly types the message, but deletes it again. He was too nervous even though he did not meet face to face with the idol of the heart.

'Sorry in advance if you are presumptuous to find out your mobile number without your permission first. However, there is something impending that I must reveal.' After ten minutes passed, the foreign number again sent him a message.

"Whose people are they? Asked who, what he answered. It's not clear" Grumbled Adinda. He throws away the origin of his cell phone and returns to his retreat.

Ting...

Again, the foreign number sent him a message, but Adinda ignored it. He prefers to continue his nap that had paused.

Someone across there sighed in disappointment as his message only ticked two in black. A few minutes passed but remained unreadable.

He leaned back in his seat of greatness. He looked up at the ceiling. Cursing a self that cannot be frank. Being out of touch for too long with the opposite sex makes it stiff.

Adinda opened her eyes and wriggled lazily. He woke up from his sleep and immediately headed to the bathroom to wash his face. Then head to the dresser to make sure her face is still the same as before. What the world says if suddenly his nose is facing upwards, is not funny.

"Huwaaa, how I'm getting wider gini." She turned her body in front of the mirror.

"This can't be allowed. Did I ask you to take me to work? It's been more than two months just being a rebel, it feels really bored." The sister stopped her mirrored action, then moved out of her room.

Adinda went down the stairs one by one. The house looked empty like it was uninhabited. The sister continued to step towards the dining table. He felt hungry, but before taking a nap he had filled his stomach. However, Adinda must be disappointed because there is nothing at the dining table.

He stepped back into the kitchen. I hope to find something that he can eat. There was no food in the kitchen.

"Geez, I'm so hungry. I ate a lot of lunch, now I am hungry again. Iisshh, is not getting stretched out the body," he decreed.

"Non, can you help me?" bi Eli asked when he saw the young lady pacing in the kitchen.

"Oh, no Bi. I just want to grab a drink" replied Adinda. It is impossible for him to say that he is currently looking for food, ashamed.

She returned to her room with the hunger she endured. Intentions want delivery, but he did not do. Because it is certain that the house will know that he eats a lot.

'Do you not remember me?' Wanting to feel Adinda swallow the phone he held when he read a message that he had ignored.

"If only these numbers would have been my memory out of my head, but how would I know who they were. Just a series of words without a photo included, where can I remember. I'm not a psychic." Adinda clucked in annoyance, with no intention of replying to messages that she deemed unimportant.

He grabbed a small bag on the nightstand, then put his phone in his bag. He decided to just forage outside while buying some snacks for his snack supplies.

Shortly thereafter the online taxi he ordered was waiting outside. Gegas Adinda came out and approached the online taxi he ordered. Taxi also split the highway.

Arriving at the restaurant he went to, Adinda immediately ordered food because her stomach was already very hungry. She was so focused on eating her food that she did not realize that someone was sitting in front of her.

"Eat slowly. Nobody's gonna take your food." Adinda stopped her chewing and looked up at the direction of the sound source.

"Candra" hissed Adinda with a mouth filled with food.

"Hi Din, how are you?" ask Candra, "The answer is a moment again if the meal is finished," said Candra when she saw Adinda who was about to open her voice with a full mouth.

The sister continued eating. He bribed little by little the food into his mouth, not scattering it before he knew there was a Candra nearby. Slowly but surely the food on his plate was not left.

Candra thrust a glass of Adinda's drink at him. Slowly Adinda took a sip until the drink was half left. Had there been no Candra, it would have been a glass of the drink up until the last drop.

"Eat up to the glass of gini." Candra grabbed the tissue and wiped the lips of Adinda who was smitten by the pasta sauce she ate.

Adinda was transfixed by the treatment Candra gave her. If what was in front of him now was Devin he would feel very happy. He shook his head. He could not figure out why Devin's shadow still flashed through his mind. Although he could not deny, there was a longing in the corner of his gray heart.

"Thank you, Dra," said Adinda as Candra finished wiping her lips.

"Either. Oh yeah, how are you?" ask Candra.

"As you can see. How are you doing yourself? Why is it in this town?" ask Adinda. There's no way Candra would intentionally tail him.

"Alhamdulillah my good news. Even now it's much better to see you back." Adinda lowered her head. He didn't want his blushing cheeks seen by Candra.

"I'm here because I'm visiting. This restaurant is one of the branches I own. However, who would have thought I could meet a starving angel." Adinda clucked resentfully making Candra laugh.

"Not funny," grumbled Adinda.

"I'm not funny, but it's funny" said Candra, pulling Adinda's nose.

"It hurts to know." Adinda rubbed her nose which was pulled by Candra.

"Sorry, don't be angry. As my apology, the food you ordered is free" Candra said.

"Can nambah?" ask Adinda.

"Cckk, you greedy base." Candra clucking.

She smiled broadly at Candra. For some reason if you hear the word free, his spirit is back on fire. He will not waste this opportunity. There was still room in his stomach to hold another portion of food.

Adinda called the waiters and went back to ordering food. Candra just smiled to see Adinda who was struggling to read the menu book. It was great to see Adinda happy.

"Oh yeah, you yourself why are you in this town, Din?" candra asked as waiters passed from before them.

Adinda then told me everything except her household matters. They were still busy chatting, without them realizing there was a pair of eyes that looked at them dislike.
