LET ME BE HAPPY

LET ME BE HAPPY
chapter 62

"WHAT?" yelled Adinda while dropping the phone in her hand.

Adinda sat down and grabbed her phone. He put the flat object back in his ear. He wanted to make sure again that what he had heard from the caller was just a joke. Although it cannot be denied there is a sense of anxiety that envelops.

"Hello, hello, hello Din. You're not still there?" Alia made a scene on the other end of the phone when she no longer heard Adinda's voice.

"I-iya Al, I was shocked. Say you anyway, delay," replied Adinda.

"Geez Din, I'm serious. I really am this loh. I actually saw doctor Ivan the same chick in the hotel," explained Alia.

"If that's my husband, where's the evidence? It could be just a similar person." She kept thinking positively of her husband. She didn't want to be so bad considering that her husband was a very good person. Moreover, the business of the bed he had fulfilled.

"Geez, when you don't believe in your besties? I don't have any evidence, but I have witnesses." Alia remained insistent that her vision could not be wrong.

"Who is the witness?" ask Adinda.

"Sinta, Din," replied Alia, "Sin, please explain to us this one if our speech can be trusted," said Alia while handing her phone to Sinta.

"Hello, Din," said Sinta as the flat object turned on her.

"Yes hello. You're not kidding me, are you, Sin?" ask Adinda worried.

"We're not kidding, Din. We saw with our own eyes that the one in front of us was Dr. Ivan. If you don't believe it, you can come straight here and prove it yourself" Sinta explained.

Adinda's body went limp for a moment. Sinta couldn't have lied to her. Because Sinta is more trustworthy than Alia who often jokes in every word he said.

"Keep, why are you around the same hotel?" ask Adinda to investigate.

"Because we were going to visit you. Continuing when we stopped at the minimarket to buy souvenirs for you, we accidentally saw doctor Ivan out of the minimarket. I kept seeing a woman in his car. I thought it was you, but it wasn't. We took the initiative to follow where Dr. Ivan went with the other woman. It turned out that their destination was the Angkasa hotel," explained Sinta at length.

"Space Hotel?" ask Adinda to make sure that her hearing is not wrong.

"Yes, Din" replied Sinta.

"All right, I'm going there now. Assalamualaikum." Adinda disconnected the phone without waiting for a response from Sinta.

"Space Hotel? Isn't that my family's hotel? Rabb, what really happened? Why would a man I had married for three days betray me?" muttered Adinda while wiping away the tears that had flooded her smooth cheeks.

My sister got out of her bed. He first made sure Vina was still sound asleep before coming out of her room. After feeling safe, he stepped out to look for the whereabouts of Oma Fani.

"Oma," called Adinda when she found that oma Fani was sitting down and reading the newspaper in the living room.

"Yes, Honey. What's up?" ask oma Fani.

"Adin permission to go out for a while Oma. There's something Adin has to buy. Adin titip Vina first yes, Oma," said Adinda.

"Go, let this Omamu take care of Vina" replied Oma Fani.

"Thank you, Oma. Then Adin leaves now, Oma" said Adinda.

"Alright, be careful on the road," said Oma Fani, smiling as she watched Adinda who had gone to her room.

Adinda immediately grabbed the jacket and put it on. Do not forget the car keys, wallet and also the phone in his pocket.

"Dear, don't be naughty. Mother go away for a moment. Vina sama oma Fani," said Adinda to her daughter who seemed not disturbed by the existence of Adinda.

"Oh yes, I'd better call my husband first," muttered Adinda as she reached into the phone in her pocket.

"Sister, where are you really?" muttered Adinda restless.

The younger brother immediately left the Space residence. He did not want to delay any longer and made the curiosity turn suspicious. Slowly the white color Honda Jazz car was speeding through the highway.

"Yes Rabb, may they just take a wrong look" said Adinda.

She still hopes that the person her friends believe is her husband is the one who happens to be the same face. However, Adinda must prove it herself so as not to just guess something uncertain.

"Why use jammed everything else, huft," grumbled Adinda.

Adinda hit the steering wheel to vent her frustration. In the moment of hurry instead stuck in traffic that increasingly takes up his time.

"Oma," said Adinda. His eyes squinted at the silhouette of a middle-aged woman in the bosom of a motorcycle taxi driver who broke through the traffic jam.

"It can't be Oma. Oma's at Vina's guard house." Adinda took a deep breath. The traffic jam ahead seems snaking and difficult to decompose.

After being stuck in traffic for approximately fifteen minutes, Adinda's car was finally able to drive back. Adinda breathed a sigh of relief. Sometimes he glanced at the watch in his hand.

After battling traffic jams on the highway, the white Honda Jazz finally entered the grounds of the Angkasa hotel. He headed to the basement to park his car. After the car was perfectly parked, he rushed down and contacted his friends.

"Where are you?" ask Adinda after the call is connected. He even forgot to say hello because his mind was starting to calm down. She was afraid that what her friends were saying was true.

"In the lobby, Din," replied Alia.

"Ok, I'm going there now," she broke up and ended the call.

He swung his feet in haste. Once again Adinda tried calling her husband's number, but was still inactive. Adinda swore annoyed. He also accelerated his footsteps.

"Finally you came too," said Sinta when he saw Adinda had arrived nearby.

The three of them went to the receptionist to find out the location of the hotel room rented by Ivan.

"Excuse me Ma'am, I want to ask a guest on behalf of Ivan Nicholas Pradana" Adinda said.

"For a while, Ma'am, I check first" said the receptionist. Before long the receptionist frowned while staring at the computer screen.

"Sorry Ma'am, there doesn't seem to be a guest whose name is what Mbak mentioned earlier" said the receptionist. It is impossible to tell the position of the hotel room occupied by guests who have the status of incognito.

"Lies, obviously we saw for ourselves that Ivan's doctor entered this hotel," argued Alia who made the receptionist look wrong.

"Please tell me, Ma'am. The name of the guest I mentioned was my husband and daughter-in-law of Mr. Fathan Angkasa, the owner of this Angkasa hotel," explained Adinda while pointing to a picture of her family displayed in one corner of the lobby.

The receptionist followed the direction of view indicated by Adinda. His eyes were perfectly rounded. He was so shocked to learn that the woman standing in front of him was the sole heir to the hotel where he worked.

"I-I'm sorry Ma'am. I-this is the key to his room," said the receptionist stammering.

"Thank you" said Adinda.

Gegas Adinda headed to the hotel room where her husband was. Sinta and Alia also followed Adinda's steps.

Adinda stopped for a moment when she arrived at the door of the hotel room occupied by her husband. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He put the key card in his hand. Slowly the door opened.

"You-you!" Throw away the tears Adinda witnessed the scenery that is now in front of her.
