Evelyn had no idea how long she had been waiting for Daniel since the man said he wanted to go to the toilet. It's obviously been a long time for Evelyn to wait for her best friend at this bar table.

People kept staring at him and started to make him uncomfortable. Honestly, he is not interested in anyone right now. He wanted to go back to their room but he would wait for Daniel first.

Evelyn crossed her legs on the chair she was sitting on. Waiting for his old best friend not to come back from the toilet.

Feeling impatient, Evelyn checked the clock on her phone. "Geez, it's been twenty minutes. It's been too long. When will he come back here" she said.

Evelyn felt annoyed at being left alone for such a long time.

"I'll just call him."

Evelyn was just about to reach for her phone to contact Daniel until she saw the figure of Daniel, who was slowly walking towards her with a smile on his face.

The man then stepped closer to Evelyn.

"Where the hell is that?" Evelyn stared cynically.

Daniel just chuckled. He took a moment to smile at the girl.

While Evelyn did not say anything else for how many seconds until Daniel sat down next to her.

"By the way I met Alvin earlier." said Daniel as he secured himself on the sofa.

"Oh yeah?" Evelyn raised next to her eyebrows and immediately placed the glass she was holding onto the bar table, looking interested in the topic of conversation.

"Where to meet?" ask Evelyn.

This time it was Daniel's eyebrow raised. What the fuck. Why did the girl before him seem to forget that she had just been angry with him? Everything changed once he heard the name Alvin called.

"I asked where did you meet Alvin?" ask Evelyn again.

"Toilet."

"Want to?"

"Yes, I thought he had a problem earlier, so I decided to help him."

Evelyn looked at Daniel with a serious look.

"Something happened to him?" ask Evelyn.

"Good then." Evelyn nodded her head, looking at Daniel with a satisfied smile. The girl looked much calmer now.

"And I can assure you, after this she won't even dare to approach Alvin again."

"I hope your words are true" Evelyn said. "I really don't want any girl at this club trying to get close to Alvin.

Daniel who heard that grinned happily. It was him, the reaction he had wanted to see from Evelyn since earlier.

"Why? You don't like him being approached by others?"

"Yes, I don't like it. Especially if you know the girls are trying to tease her."

"Why is that?" daniel asked with a probing face.

"Yes because" Evelyn's speech stopped. Seeing the look on Daniel's face, Evelyn folded her arms around his chest, looking at the man with narrowed eyes, "What do you mean exactly?"

Daniel chuckled as he realized that his intentions had been read by Evelyn. "Okay, okay, all right. You didn't want to be honest about your relationship before. I'm just curious about that. But why don't you like it? Are you jealous?"

Evelyn was stunned for a few seconds the girl fell silent. He then furrowed his eyebrows, clearly not impressed at all with the question of his best friend.

"What did you say?" tanyakanya.

"I'm asking you, are you jealous?"

"Jealous?" Evelyn looked at Daniel in disbelief. He can't be jealous. The girls were not even on the same level as him.

"Yes, I thought you were jealous."

"I'm not jealous of those girls? Of course not. They're not my level."

"Ck, you're jealous. I'm sure it is."

"No. I told you I'm not jealous. Why are you so pushy?"

"Alright," Daniel replied trying to be calm when he saw Evelyn who was getting hooked. "There's no point in being hysterical, Eve. You need to be quieter, okay? Acting like this will obviously make your jealousy more visible."

"Daniel!!"

Daniel chuckles again, "OK, OK. Ii'm sorry. I'm just kidding."

"I just don't want Alvin anywhere near that wild girl. They'll ruin it later." explains Evelyn.

"Is that so?" Daniel looked at Evelyn with an indescribable smile.

Daniel was astonished. This is the first time Daniel has seen Evelyn care so much about someone. Although this girl refused to admit anything, Daniel could see everything.

Evelyn seemed to not accept seeing Alvin in touch with others. At least that's what he understands.

"Is he so precious to you?" asked Daniel curiously.

"Why did you suddenly ask?"

"Yes, you seem to care so much about her. You don't want her touched by anyone else. You're acting like she's your lover."

'Lover? Yes, she is my future lover.' Inner Evelyn.

Evelyn then seemed to smile shyly after hearing Daniel's words.

Daniel looked at Evelyn who was smiling. For a moment the attitude of the girl managed to make Daniel feel amused himself.

"Yes, that's what I do because I care about her" Evelyn said.

"Do you care about him or are you interested in him?"

"both. He's just. special, Daniel."

"Oh, so he's special." Daniel said.

Daniel smiled as he raised his eyebrows. He was even more astonished by Evelyn's words just now. He thinks Alvin is special but not jealous?

How could this girl be so plan-like.

Meanwhile Evelyn seemed to behave awkwardly after being caught revealing the contents of her heart.

Evelyn gulped, feeling ashamed. He coughed, reducing his awkwardness before looking the other way, trying to take his eyes off Daniel.

"So that's what makes you jealous? You don't want me"

"I'm not jealous. I've told you a thousand times."

Daniel's upset, "but you said he was special, right?"

"Yes, he is special. I care about him too but I'm not jealous."

Daniel shook his head.

This girl was too arrogant to admit that she was jealous. Evelyn did not want to admit that she was jealous, but from her gestures it was clear that she was jealous? Isn't Evelyn the only one like this.

Daniel grieves.

"What specials, huh? No kidding. All this time there wasn't even anyone you'd consider special except yourself, Evelyn."

Evelyn looked at Daniel sharply. "I'm really talking, Niel! She's special to me."

"really? How special is that young man to you?" Daniel stared in disbelief.

Evelyn smiled sinisterly,

"I know you're trying to lure me into revealing who Alvin is in my heart, right?"

Daniel smiled slightly as he shook his head, "i just want to know."

"I'll show you how special he is to me. But not now. You'll see for yourself."
