In my heart Alvin was astonished. Did he not see wrong? Karina stood before him again this morning and just asked him to speak.

Where possible. Alvin must be delirious in the morning. The girl might suddenly appear and greet him.

"Alvin." exclaimed the girl again, awakening Alvin from his little daydream.

"Ka-Karina?"

"Yes, it's me." said Karina softly.

Hear that! Once more. Once again the girl spoke in such a gentle tone to him. The girl's attitude made Alvin frown even more in wonder.

As Alvin recalled, Karina had never spoken to him like this. This tone was once used by Karina, but only once, that was when the girl was trying to get close to her first.

What's wrong with this girl. Why did it suddenly change so drastically like this?

Alvin's gaze suddenly turned flat in a second.

"What's wrong with you?" ask Alvin sharply.

"What's wrong with me?" karina was confused.

"Your tone..."

"What's wrong with my tone?"

"You're talking like you're" Alvin stopped his line.

Alvin hurriedly shook his head. It is not clear that this is the same cycle. At first they accidentally meet, then the girl will talk about herself with rough and bad, like yesterday.

So, rather than having to listen to Karina's obscure rude rant again, it's better if she doesn't need to have anything to do with him, no matter what the reason.

"Alvin, wait!" said Karina who saw Alvin step away. He ran after the young man and aligned his steps with the young man's.

Alvin who was surprised had a glance but preferred to walk faster. He did not want to hear any insults that would come out of the girl's mouth.

"Alvin I said wait." said Karina then quickly held Alvin's right arm.

Alvin finally snapped his steps and looked at Karina's face with an annoyed look.

"Why are you following me?" Alvin was obviously annoyed by Karina following his steps like this.

"If you want to insult me like before, you better forget it. I won't respond to anything." continued Alvin then continued his steps.

"Wait a minute." hold Karina.

"I want to go to my class, Karina."

"Yes, but wait a minute."

"What else do you want from me now?" alvin asked with a clearly annoyed expression. "What are you insulting me again this time?"

Karina smiled awkwardly looking at Alvin's current annoyed expression. The young man had never looked at him with this kind of gaze before. Alvin always looked at her with a look of love. Also, the words of this young man were so sharp that they pierced his heart.

"I didn't see you this morning for anything like that." explained Karina.

Alvin looked at Karina in surprise. "So what else?"

Karina looked back at Alvin. "I just want to talk. Ah, no, actually I want to ask you something."

"Ask what?"

"Yesterday girl.?"Alvin raised his eyebrows after realizing something, "What do you mean Evelyn?"

Karina nodded. "Yes, he. Can I know what your relationship is with that girl?"

"Don't you have the answer?"

Karina shook her head, "I just heard from the girl's mouth before. And yes, you admitted it yesterday. But right now, I just want to hear it right out of your mouth. Without the girl here. Please answer me again. Do you really have a relationship with him or not?"

"What's the difference between hearing it directly from me or not?"

"Just to convince myself."

"What?"

"I just want to know if you've really forgotten me or not. I want you to answer by looking at me. You can't lie if you look me in the eye."

Alvin turned his face away and smiled cynically. He had no idea why Karina was acting so strangely like this. What is the purpose of this girl?

"You mean, I should waste my time just trying to convince you?" Alvin said with a piercing tone.

"That's not what I mean, Alvin."

"Then what?" alvin Sentak. He's really upset right now. Can Karina just walk away from her life. He was tired of having to deal with her constantly.

Alvin sighed before continuing his sentence. "Karina, you know very well that I've not been used to anything like this."

"Like this?"

"Yes, like this, discussing personal matters. I never discussed my relationship with anyone else when we were together, did I?"

"Yes, it's true."

"And you are now someone else to me. So I have a right not to explain anything to you."

Karina swallowed her saliva roughly.

"But for this matter, I-I"

"Sorry Karina, but it looks like I have to go now" Alvin said as he glanced at the watch on his wrist.

"We've met."

Alvin frowned. "What?"

"Me and the girl, Evelyn. We've met before. We met at the night club where you worked. And he's looking for trouble with me. He poured me a drink. By purpose. She's not a good girl, Alvin."

"Evelyn wasn't that girl." so Alvin couldn't believe it. "And Karina, I don't have time to respond to this ridiculous thing."

Karina's face paled.

This was the first time he felt so overwhelmed. Especially by Alvin. All this time the young man never ignored himself like this. Alvin doesn't even believe his words.

"Alvin, wait." exclaimed Karina.

But it seems that Karina's appeal was not at all concerned by Alvin.

The young man continued to step away leaving Karina alone in that place. This made Karina clench her palms, annoyed.
