Alvin could only gawk over his bed while staring at the screen of his phone shortly after Evelyn disconnected the call.

He looked to open his eyes a few times. I can't believe what he's going through.

Just imagine, he was sleeping when Evelyn suddenly contacted him and said that he would come to his house. Just like a dream.

"He's coming here?" muttered Alvin looked wrinkled both of his brows in confusion.

Should he believe his ears?

Well, even though it proved not to be a dream because he had given his home address, Alvin still could not believe that the girl would come to see him.

Alvin smiled slightly and threw his phone on the bed next to him. He quickly grabbed his blanket and got out of bed.

The young man seemed to move with a slight stagger. Stepping into the bathroom to wash his face.

To be honest, Alvin just did not want to look bad in Evelyn's eyes, because since the afternoon he had not been bathing because his body felt carefree.

Alvin came out of the bathroom and switched to his wardrobe. He decided to change his clothes because he did not want Evelyn to see her who looked less fresh.

"This is Evelyn, my appearance must be in good condition to meet her" Alvin murmured as he examined her appearance in the mirror.

After a while, we waited in the living room. Alvin heard the door knock.

Alvin hurriedly opened the door and saw with his own eyes Evelyn who was standing before him.

"Hi," said Evelyn kindly.

"You're really coming?" Alvin. I don't know why his tone sounded so happy.

Evelyn looked at Alvin for a few seconds, then nodded her head with a smile.

"Of course." answered Evelyn.

Alvin turned to the area around his house, there was no one. Only Evelyn's car was parked in the yard of her house.

"But why did you come here?" Alvin asked a bit confused.

"Why, can't you?"

Alvin smiled slightly in response to that answer. "May, of course."

Evelyn then raised the parcel in her hand. "By the way I brought you this."

Alvin stared at the parcel in Evelyn's hand.

"It's a lot of it." Alvin smiled doubtfully as he looked at Evelyn's luggage. "What's this?"

"Food for you. It's for your dinner tonight and fruits too. There are also vitamins in it that you must drink in order to recover quickly. Take this!"

Alvin finally reached for the parcel wondering in his heart, why would this Evelyn bother to carry so many things like this.

"thank you. This must be troublesome. Oh yeah, you wanna come in?" tawar Alvin's.

"Can?" ask Evelyn.

"Of course I can." Alvin smiled and opened his door wider.

"How are you doing?" evelyn asked after being inside Alvin's house. The girl looked around Alvin's house. He seemed to be very curious about what was there.

Alvin who was putting the parcel on the table immediately turned his head.

"It's better than ever." Alvin smiled faintly at Evelyn who looked wryly as she stared at her house.

Evelyn must have been surprised to see Alvin's house look smaller.

"Sorry, my house is too ordinary and very small. Is this uncomfortable to look at?" Alvin spoke with an unpleasant smile.

'This girl must be uncomfortable being here, ' he thought.

Evelyn narrowed her eyes when she heard Alvin's words.

"What are you talking about? Big or small doesn't matter to me. I'm just curious and want to take a look" Evelyn said.

Evelyn sits on a single sofa while Alvin sits on a long sofa.

"But have you checked with a doctor?" evelyn said pointing at Alvin who she thought still looked pale.

"Not yet." Alvin shook his head, "but I've been taking medicine."

"Drugs are helpful enough?"

"Lumayan. Now the headache has diminished."

"Would I just take you to the clinic?" bargain Evelyn.

"no need. It's just the common cold. Maybe tomorrow it'll heal."

Evelyn nodded in understanding.

"I brought you some food. Why not eat it?" Evelyn pointed at the parcel she was carrying with her chin.

"What's this..you're cooking?" Alvin asked doubtfully.

Evelyn.

"I cooked this?" Evelyn pointed to herself then hurriedly shook her head, "Ah no, this is. I actually bought it on the street earlier. I can't cook."

"Ah, so it seems." Alvin nodded. I just want to finish this topic. Fearfully Evelyn would be offended by her question.

Evelyn looked at Alvin for a few seconds before smiling, "By the way you can cook?" evelyn asked suddenly.

Alvin nodded doubtfully, "A little."

"Then I want to try it."

"Try what?"

"Food your. That must be good."

Alvin looked down, embarrassed.

"Obviously. I can make you food. Are you seriously trying my cooking?"

"Of course, I want to know how your cooking tastes. But I'm not bothering you, am I?"

"Not at all. I'm just happy. I always fantasized about cooking for my partner one day." Alvin smiled at the thought.

"Then, whoever will be your partner in the future will be lucky to enjoy your cooking every day."

Alvin smiles. "Yes, it's just my hope. To date I have never cooked for anyone."

"Truely, then what if I'm going to be the first one to taste your cooking."

"So far I've never cooked for anyone."

"That's surprising. So, do you think I'm a good fit to be the couple you're talking about?"

"That problem-"

"Should I be your partner in order to taste your cooking? Or should we just get married?" goda Evelyn suddenly.

"Huh?" Alvin seemed to blush with that shocking remark.

"You embarrassed?" ask Evelyn.

"I-"

Evelyn moved her face closer to Alvin. Somehow seeing the embarrassed face of this young man made him interested in getting closer.

"Alvin, it's actually me-"

Alvin could feel the warmth of Evelyn's breath on her face.

Alvin looked up to look at Evelyn's face which was only thirty inches from hers.

Evelyn's heart is happy because it feels like tonight will be a beautiful night with Alvin. They're getting closer all of a sudden…

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Hearing that, Alvin quickly moved away from Evelyn.

"There's guests. Maybe it's my friend." said Alvin.

"It's a pity." Evelyn muttered to herself then turned her back, leaned back onto the sofa then casually crossed her legs. "Open up first it looks like your guests are waiting."

Alvin could only smile awkwardly at Evelyn. He nodded then got up from his position towards the door.

Alvin opens the door and rounds when he finds Karina standing in front of him.

"Karina, what are you doing here?" alvin was confused.

Karina smiled.

"You were sick all night. I still feel worried about you. I came to your place of work but your friend said you were getting sick. So I came to see you."

Alvin speechless.

"Can I come in?"

"But-"

Without waiting for an answer from Alvin, Karina immediately stepped inside Alvin's house.

As soon as she got inside the house, Karina who was smiling grinfully furrowed her brows when she saw a woman sitting on the sofa.

He approached to see who the woman was, until his smile suddenly disappeared completely and changed into a look of surprise

"You!" karina pointed at Evelyn. "What are you doing here?"
