That morning, the time had already shown at half-eight in the morning just as Alvin arrived at his campus. He turned his motorcycle into the campus parking area.

"So is the news true?" ask Dave again.

Alvin again flicked his footsteps and turned around, turning to Dave.

Dave then went on. "Have you forgotten that so many people have been watching your relationship. You and Karina, you're both popular. Especially Karina, she is very popular in this campus. He is a college star. So the news about you guys will definitely spread quickly."

"You're right. Karina popular. So it's not surprising news if everyone is talking about it." replied Alvin lightly as he nodded his head slowly and then resumed his steps.

"So you guys really broke up?" Dave tried to make sure.

Alvin took a deep breath and exhaled slowly while shaking his shoulders.

"That's how!" answer Alvin.

"Hey, what kind of answer is that?" dave said astonished.

"We broke up" Alvin said.

Dave frowned. "When did you break up?"

"A few days ago."

"Well, this is crazy." Dave seemed to be in disbelief with Alvin's answer.

Alvin chose not to respond to anything.

"Why did you break up?" dave asked still staring at Alvin curiously.

"Destiny."

"Come on Alvin, I'm serious." Dave spoke in despair. He's really curious now..

"We just can't be together anymore, Dave" Alvin said in response to his friend's curiosity.

Dave looked at Alvin suspiciously. He seemed dissatisfied with that answer. Dave then approached Alvin, putting one of his hands on his best friend's shoulder.

"Are you the one who asked Karina to break up?" whisper Dave.

Alvin shook his head.

"It wasn't me, but Karina herself was the one who asked to separate." she explained.

"What?" Dave sontak. "Karina asked to break up?"
