Evelyn increased the speed of her car, as if she was being chased by something frightening. Ah, no. It's not fear. But embarrassed.

Of course he's ashamed. How not. He just admitted someone as his lover. How does he still have a face now?

Ah, it felt like Evelyn would come home and hide in the blankets in her room.

"Miss, red light!" alvin's exclamation made Evelyn sober.

Evelyn quickly braked her car.

"Yes my. Sorry!" Evelyn.

Ah, look at this, so shy of Evelyn, she forgot that Alvin was right next to her, in her car, with her.

The young man currently seemed to be holding onto his seat belt tightly. Probably afraid that something might happen to her because of Evelyn's careless behavior.

While waiting for the traffic light to change color, Evelyn tapped into her car's steering wheel, awkwardly.

Evelyn's eyes glanced at Alvin. The young man still seemed to be sitting quietly in his position. Evelyn was silent too. None of them said anything.

Evelyn quietly glanced back at Alvin who was sitting awkwardly next to her then looked back at the streets before her.

"Miss, the lights are green" Alvin said a few seconds later, reminding Evelyn.

"Ah, y-yeah." Evelyn gasped and went back to gas her car.

Twice. Evelyn had lost her focus twice. He didn't even realize the traffic lights had turned green.

Evelyn could even hear the honking sound of other vehicles behind her considering the car they were driving was indeed in the front position.

While driving, Evelyn quietly took a deep breath and threw it away with a long gust, constantly trying to calm herself down.

For some reason since the presence of Alvin, it has been like he managed to disrupt the focus of his life. He even did something silly by claiming to be the young man's lover. Yes, although his intention was to help Alvin.

"Sylan!" Evelyn.

With a rough movement, Evelyn then slammed the steering wheel to the left, pulled her car to the side of the road and immediately turned off her car engine.

Meanwhile, Alvin seems shocked and jolted from his position in the car seat as Evelyn comes to a sudden stop. Fortunately, the seat belt that Alvin wore managed to keep him from extreme movement.

Evelyn realized that she had almost harmed the young man next to her. He looked at the young man with worry.

"You're okay, right?" ask Evelyn.

"Yes, I'm fine." said Alvin smiling awkwardly.

"Is it really okay?"

"Yes, miss."

Evelyn exhaled. He closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against the steering wheel of the car he was holding, choosing to remain silent for a while, calming himself from his deeply troubled mind.

Alvin looked at Evelyn confused, "Are you okay?"

Evelyn did not reply, still maintaining her lowered position.

"I'm sorry" Evelyn said suddenly in a very slow voice, almost like a whisper.

Alvin frowned, confused by Evelyn's words, but he immediately shook his head. "Ah, I'm fine, Miss. I was wearing a seatbelt, so-"

"Not that."

"Yes?"

Evelyn still closed both her eyes. The next instant he re-enforced his body, staring straight at the street ahead.

"I'm not sorry about that." explains Evelyn.

"So, you're sorry about what?" Alvin smiled confusedly.

Evelyn then turned to look at Alvin, looking at the young man closely. "That ought I'm sorry for what I did to you before."

"What did Miss do to me." Alvin laughed as he looked at Evelyn confused.

"It's about me pretending to be your girlfriend, in front of your ex-boyfriend" Evelyn explained.

"Ah, about that apparently." muttered Alvin. Alvin nodded his head in understanding of Evelyn's unease.

"That must have surprised you, huh?"

"Little bit. That was a little surprising to me. But I don't have a problem at all. I can understand Miss's intention to do that."

"Really, doesn't matter to you?"

Evelyn then lowered her head, smiling wryly. "To be honest, it's kind of embarrassing for me."

Alvin froze in his position. Secretly there was a sense of disappointment in his heart.

What did Evelyn say just now, shameful? So, is it so embarrassing for Evelyn to have claimed to be her lover earlier.

"Right as well, it would definitely be very embarrassing for you to do that. Fortunately, no one else heard it but Karina."

Evelyn turned her head, looking at Alvin with furrowed brows. The young man looked down. Okay, looks like there's a misunderstanding here. Their conversation seems to have been different.

"Alvin's."

"Miss just calm down. No one will believe that we are in a relationship. Not even Karina would believe it. So it won't be too embarrassing for Miss."

"No. That's not what I mean." Evelyn explained.

"Then?"

"I mean, here it is precisely I who feel ashamed of you for having dared to confess me as your lover. I'm so embarrassed and feel bad about you, we've even just known each other but my attitude is so rude."

"Bad?" Alvin furrowed his brows in wonder. "What makes you feel that way?"

Evelyn sighed slowly, though,

"Of course, because I was without permission, I even claimed to be your lover in front of your ex. How could I do such a shameful thing."

Alvin realized, he had just misunderstood this young lady.

"Miss doesn't have to feel bad like that."

"How come? That's the ridiculous thing Alvin!"

"And I have absolutely no objection to that, Miss." replied Alvin making Evelyn smile.

"really?"

"Yes, believe. I'm fine." replied Alvin reassuringly.

Evelyn nodded.

"Yes, but again I'm sorry to you. This all happened because I was so upset with your ex that he told you something. You fucking girl!" as Evelyn hit the driver of her car.

"To be honest, I don't have a problem with that."

"No matter how?" pissed Evelyn. He tightened his grip on the steering wheel of the car, pushing it hard, holding back anger.

Alvin smiled doubtfully. "I'm really okay with that, Miss."

"How can you take his evil deeds for granted? How can you say that you're okay after what he's done to you. He's insulting you, Alvin!"

"And I've been humiliated by her many times, Miss. Ever since we parted, she's been insulting me like that. I'm even getting used to it. That's why I don't matter at all."

Evelyn looked at Alvin. He secretly felt upset again. That girl must've been doing too much to Alvin all this time.

"You guys broke up a long time ago?"

"We broke up a while ago. I forgot exactly when. Yeah, it's not actually forgetting, but I just don't want to remember it."

"Then why did you break up?" evelyn asked again.

Alvin fell silent, making Evelyn instantly aware of her own question. "Yes my. Ii'm sorry. I shouldn't have interfered too deeply."

"No. It's not. I don't think you're interfering at all, Miss. Actually I'm just surprised because you look so concerned that you even want to hear my complaint."

"Why not? We're friends now." Evelyn said to her shoulder.

Alvin remained silent for a while, looking down, playing his finger. He sighed slowly and then smiled.

"Actually, he was hitting me."

Evelyn. He almost cursed himself when he heard Alvin's words just now. How could anyone ever look up to a man as perfect as Alvin. Ah, that woman is so stupid.

"Poor."

"Yes?" Evelyn frowned confusedly.

"He's trying to get me because I'm poor."
