Alvin admitted that his body is currently in an unhealthy condition. He felt much weaker than his usual day. How many times he had even nearly bumped into a visitor yet could still be avoided.
Alvin is currently delivering an order for one of the visitors. But his body could not be compromised. He was no longer able to withstand the pain, because Alvin had just tried to step, suddenly his body was dazed to the left.
"Hey, be careful, Alvin." said Alvin's co-worker, Rasyit. The young man instantly helped catch Alvin's tray that was about to fall.
"Thank you, Rasyit."
"You almost dropped a drink just now."
"Yes right, I almost got into trouble. Good thing you came to help." said Alvin relieved.
"No problem. Come on, I'll help. Give me the tray." said Rasyit. It pulls slowly the tray that Alvin still holds.
Alvin's body is back in the dreg. He hurriedly leaned over, supporting his body with a hand that held both knees.
Seeing that Rasyit Eyebrow seemed to shrivel. He could see Alvin's face looking so pale.
"But are you okay? I mean, you look like you almost fainted."
"Yes, I'm sorry, my eyes were a little blurred and I couldn't help but shake my body."
"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well today?"
"I'm just a little dizzy." Alvin spoke with a slight tremble. His body felt so limp and seemed to be giving off cold sweat.
"This doesn't seem good." murmured Rasyit turned to the surrounding area. "You're sick. Come on, stop working first and come with me to the Bar table."
"I can't stop working, I have to"
"You can still walk, right? Come fast!" cut Rasyit first step forward without hearing Alvin's words again.
Alvin chose resignation and followed the man to the Bar table in a shaky step.
Rasyit called another waiter, asking for help to deliver Alvin's drink tray.
"Come on, you sit here first!" rasyit's orders to Alvin pat the chair that was near them.
"I'm doing fine. No need to sit."
"Give me a glass of water" Rasyit told the Bartender on duty as if he had not heard Alvin's words just now. Rasyit then pointed at Alvin with his chin. "Alvin seems unfocused at work, seems a bit exhausted."
The bartender nodded then quickly gave Alvin a glass of water.
"This is the water" said the bartender, putting the water on the table.
"Thank you."Alvin smiles. "There's no need to bother like this."
"Ck, what are you saying. Nothing is bothered here. And can you sit down!"
"I'm fine. Really." reject Alvin
"It's okay, obviously your face looks pale. You're sick, Alvin."
"We can't relax here for long. Look at! Visitors are crowded and need to be served." Alvin's switching topics.
"Just calm down. There are still many servants who will beautify us. So, sit down!" Rasyit pressed down on Alvin's shoulder, forcing the young man to sit on the chair.
Alvin sat down, though it was due to Rasyit's coercion. He looked left and right with a strange look.
"But Rasyit, aren't you afraid the boss will get angry if you see us relaxing here?"
"The boss will be angry if he sees his subordinates working in a state of pain."
Alvin. "Yes, but I-I"
"Around two this afternoon."
"Her? Just be right. Here we'll work until dawn, Alvin. Why didn't you eat earlier?"
"I knew. My stomach doesn't taste good, so I decided to put off eating."
"You want to eat first?" ask Rasyit.
Alvin shook his head, "No. No need."
Rasyit let out a lazy breath.
"Alvin, you have to eat first. I see you're not so good. Just stand up shaking."
"It's not even our break yet."
"And you'll starve to death if you wait for our break. You're forgot? We're still a few hours away."
"No problem Rasyit, now I'm not hungry either."
"You sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. I'm fine."
"Alright if you say so. But if you feel your pain is getting worse, you should just take a break and eat!"
Alvin nodded his head. "You take it easy."
Rasyit stared at Alvin for a few seconds before then nodding.
"You drink this first, okay." said Rasyit while pushing back the glass of water to get closer to Alvin. "If your condition is better, then you can continue to work."
Alvin nodded and grabbed the glass with an awkward smile, "Thank you for the help."
"It's just regular help. Don't burden. Yes, I lived first. I have to continue working." said Rasyit as he walked away from Alvin.
Alvin who was drinking his water nodded his head.
After Rasyit's departure, Alvin just sat quietly, pensive at the bar table.
Alvin thought about himself. More precisely, about his life that seems to be at a dead end in terms of everything, especially about romance.
First, Alvin is in a relationship with Karina but she is betrayed. And now he's in love with Evelyn, someone who's perfect but he can't have.
Alvin took a sip of his drink while thinking, if he became a rich man, would Karina leave him like that time? In addition, Alvin is sure that he also does not need to work day and night like this.
Alvin let out a tired sigh, stared fixedly at the water glass in his hand and then placed the glass on the bar table.
He closed his eyes while slowly kneading his temple, trying to reduce the dizziness in his head.
'What's wrong with me. Why is my mind running like this. I should be grateful for what I have now.' Inner Alvin.
Alvin opened his eyes again and turned to the surrounding area. He realized the nightclub was starting to feel full of visitors who arrived.
This made Alvin realize that he had to go back to work immediately.
"Are you a waitress in this club?" A female voice suddenly sounded from her left side.
