Alvin Danu or the young man who is more often greeted as Alvin is now running fast all the way to a cafe.

The young man seemed to have no recollection of how to regulate the breath because what was on his mind at this moment was only a way to quickly get to his destination. 

Alvin stopped his steps for a while because he was too tired.

"Come home?" alvin asked, looking at his girlfriend with an awkward smile, "But I just arrived. Let's go in and eat first."

Karina shook her head briefly. "No, I don't want to eat. I'm already full. And I'm just going home now!"

"But Karina, I haven't eaten yet. Coming home from college, I had to do college work first. After that I just came straight here, so right now I'm very hungry. Let's go in and eat first!"

"That's none of my business, Alvin." joked Karina. "You've eaten or not, I don't care. I want to go home!"

Karina was about to step away from the place but her hand was held back by Alvin.

"Karina, are you mad at me?" ask Alvin.

Karina snorts cynically.

The girl did not answer. More precisely not to answer. He only smiled cynically after listening to Alvin's silly question.

"Karina, you're mad at me, aren't you?" ask Alvin again because his lover did not answer his question.

Alvin moved closer and then again grabbed the girl's smooth hand.

"Darling, I'm really sorry for being late. My motorcycle tyre leaked. And the bus I'm going to ride on is also coming a little late, so-"

"Ck, what a reason can come out of your mouth, Alvin" said Karina coldly, she continued to look at Alvin with a flat gaze.

"You know Alvin, it's something I hate about you. You're always late, never on time to make an appointment with me. There are always many reasons. Starting from college assignments, being late to work because of overtime and many other reasons."

"I asked you to come here because you told me on the phone that you were off work."

"Yes, that's right. But kan-"

"Ah, there's one more thing." cut Karina while bringing her face closer to Alvin's ear. "You're also very stupid. And it really makes me sick."

"What, Karina?" alvin's eyes were suddenly round when he heard a harsh sentence coming out of his lips. He was really surprised by Karina's words to him just now.

Alvin holds Karina's arm. "Darling, what did you just say?"

"I said you were stupid!" Karina repeated her words, this time in a pressed tone. And that made Alvin freeze in his place.

Alvij took off his grip from Karina's arm.

"Karina, why should you be this angry. I told you all the reasons for my delay. My bike broke down and also the bus I was going on was late, but why did you even-"

"Do you have no mind?" Karina cut out Alvin's word. "You can take a taxi, right? You can use your brain once in a while, Alvin!"

"But a taxi is too expensive for me, Karina!" Alvin's still trying to defend himself, "I have more money to pay for it. Besides, one-time money in a taxi I can use to commute a few times if I go by bus, right?"

Karina rolled both her eyes lazily "As far as you go. I don't care anymore either."

Karina was now almost continuing her steps but came back to a standstill when she suddenly remembered something. He stared briefly at the plastic bag in his hand and smiled sinisterly.

"Ah this! This is yours.. Get it!" Karina.

Karina takes a doll out of the plastic bag and throws it into Alvin's chest. "I don't need that cheap stuff anymore!"

"This doll?" Alvin frowned confusedly staring at the doll in his hand. "Aren't these dolls my gift on our first birthday?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"But why was it returned?" Alvin looked at Karina with a confused look. "Aren't you supposed to keep it and look after it?"

"Yes, indeed. But that was before. Now I give it back to you because from now on we are no longer lovers." replied Karina in a cold tone.

"Not lover?"

"really. From now on we've broken up!"

Alvin looked at Karina in disbelief. "What?"
