Evelyn pressed her forehead against the glass window in her room. He exhaled deeply while his two eyes continued to watch the rain falling on the ground in front of his room.

"When do you want to look at the rain like that?"

"Until my phone screen came the name Alvin." Evelyn replied wistfully.

Ziva who was staring at the phone just glanced at a glance and rolled his eyes lazy. "Alvin again?"

"Yes, Alvin again. Know it? It's been a few days, but why hasn't she called me yet." Evelyn threw her phone on the table and walked to her bed.

Evelyn threw her body on the bed. He lay on his back with both eyes staring at the ceiling of his room.

"He didn't call me at all. Not even sending a message."

"What did he call you for." Ziva looked at his best friend in wonder. "What's the matter with him?"

"Nothing."

"Then why did he call you when you had nothing to do."

"Of Ziva, he's ready to be friends with me. Doesn't that mean we're friends now. So, I guess at least he can call me and ask about my news. Only once. What a hard thing to do that."

"Well, I guess it's because he's not that kind of person."

"Ck, what kind of person is he?"

"Maybe he's not the type to contact his friends the way you'd expect. So do not expect high on others.

Evelyn got up from her sleep to look at her best friend. "I don't expect."

"You're expecting, Eve. He just didn't call you but you acted like he just blocked your number. I think your reaction is too much towards him" explained Ziva.

Evelyn remained silent.

He then closed his lips while grumbling softly. What is the exaggeration of expecting a message from someone. Moreover, he is the person you like.

"Then how do I approach him if he doesn't even call me when we're friends like this."

"Then you're the one who called her."

"Me?"

"Yes, you're just."

"don't want. I'm not a cheap woman."

"Who makes the rules if a woman contacts a man first would be called a cheap woman?"

"It could be that Alvin thinks so."

"Do you think Alvin would think that?"

Evelyn was silent again.

Ziva's question made Evelyn instantly aware of one thing. Alvin is not that kind of guy.

Evelyn let out a tired breath.

Actually not expecting a message or a phone call from Alvin. Evelyn wants to hear Alvin's voice. It had been a few days after their last meeting but the young man had not given him any news.

He could not meet the young man directly because some time he was too busy with his busy lecture schedule.

"You know, Ziva. This young man is special to me."

"Special?"

"Yes, at a time when men are desperate to get my contact number. He simply ignored me when my contact number was available on his phone. He is not the easy kind of guy. Very different."

Ziva grieves. He had no idea he could see Evelyn being so cute to someone. Years of being friends with Evelyn, this was Evelyn's first time talking seriously about men.

"Evelyn, it's really weird to see you like this" Ziva said, shaking his head.

"Like this?"

"Yes, like this."

"What exactly do you mean. Speak clearly, Ziva."

"Ck, don't get all unconscious, Eve. For years we've been friends, have you ever talked seriously about men like today. Ah, not just today. But every day. In fact, so seriously, you always talk about it until I almost die of boredom. You're also nervous about not getting word from him. Have you ever been like this before. No, right?"

"I just want clarity on whether he accepts my offer or not." Evelyn was looking for a reason.

"He won't accept your offer, Eve."

Evelyn stared intently at Ziva, hoping that her best friend would be silent without saying another word.

"Just be quiet."

"Why shut up when I can talk the way I am. He won't do that dirty thing. Alvin's not a bad guy. He won't accept your offer."

"We'll see." Evelyn grumbled.

Ziva looked at Evelyn fixedly. What exactly is Evelyn looking for from Alvin. From the beginning, it was like he was looking for the young man.

Evelyn said she was interested in Alvin, but Evelyn was not the type of woman who liked to convoluted. So why is it like bringing Alvin into the game.

"But if you're interested in her, why don't you ask her out for a real date. Why lie in front of Karina."

Evelyn shook her head, "I don't like rejection."

"meaning?"

"There's actually another reason why I'd rather be friends with him."

"Okay, what's this about?"

"I don't know how Alvin really feels about me. And I don't want to ask him first either. So I want to make sure everything first. That's why I invited him to be friends. So I can figure out how she feels about me."

"And so..." Evelyn paused her sentence. "Alvin, he's a man without confidence. Last I knew, he was too self-deprecating. And I don't like that. I want him to know that he's amazing. And I'm gonna make him realize how valuable he is."

Ziva could only gawk at Evelyn's words just now. This girl before him was really like not the Evelyn he knew. Since when can he speak for the good of others like this

Ziva has not commented on whether Evelyn's phone reads an incoming message. The girl hastily picks up her phone thinking it was a message from Alvin but it wasn't.

"It's from Daniel." he muttered with a disappointed look, making Ziva chuckle.

"Daniel sent you a message?"

"Yes, he sent me a message. Invite the two of us to meet him tonight. He must've sent you a message too."

"True, the message just came in" Ziva replied as he pointed his phone screen at Evelyn.

"You wanna come?"

"I'm sorry, I can't, I've had dinner with my girlfriend tonight."

Evelyn nodded and looked at her phone, replying to the message. But an idea suddenly appeared in his head, making him grin with pleasure.

"I know." Evelyn flicked her finger.

"You what?" ask Ziva confused.

"If he won't call me, let me see him."

"Win' to who?"

"Alvin's."

"Alvin?"

"Yes, we'll meet tonight. I'll see him."

"What?"

Evelyn did not answer Ziva's question. The girl quickly got up from her position.

"I'll be ready now."

"Where ready?"

"Meet Daniel, what else?"

"Then what does this have to do with Alvin." asked Ziva but Evelyn again did not answer the question. "Hey, where are you and Daniel going?"

Evelyn flicked a step and turned towards Ziva. "We're going to my dad's nightclub. Where Alvin works."
