"Are you a waitress in this club?"
Alvin who was about to stand looked a little surprised when he heard that voice. It resulted in his hand accidentally nudging his white water glass that was on the table.
"Geez, my work clothes" said Alvin hurriedly cleaning his work clothes that were wet from the spill.
The woman looked surprised. He hurriedly approached Alvin to help return the glass to its original position.
"I'm surprising you, aren't I? Ii'm sorry. I didn't mean it." said the woman.
"No problem. I am careless." said Alvin who currently still looks down, focused on drying out the remaining water spills on his clothes.
"One more time I'm sorry, okay. I didn't mean to surprise you like I just did. You're okay, right?" said the girl helped clean Alvin's work clothes from getting wet with tissue she took from her bag.
Alvin realized that the girl's tone was filled with guilt. He seems to care so much for Alvin, as evidenced by his hasty attitude to help clean Alvin's wet clothes.
"Here let me help you clean your clothes, yeah" said the woman.
"Ah, no need miss." refused Alvin.
"It's also my fault. I help, yes." said the woman.
The woman looked busy cleaning Alvin's clothes. And that seems to work enough to make Alvin feel bad.
"I was careless by nudging his glass. Let me." reject Alvin.
Alvin refused help from the girl. She was a waitress while the girl was a visitor. So how could Alvin be willing to accept help from visitors he should serve.
"You're sure it's okay, right? I'm so bad." said the girl finally stopped helping Alvin.
"Yes, I'm fine." said Alvin.
Alvin finally looked up to actually look at the girl's face. And at that moment also his eyes met with a pair of eyes belonging to the beautiful girl who was also looking at him.
"Oh yeah, I was asking you, are you a waitress in this club?" ask the girl again.
Alvin frowned. To be honest, he was astonished by the question. Did the clothes he was wearing at the moment not quite show who he was?
"Hi, you heard me, right?" The girl snapped her finger right in front of Alvin's face.
Alvin still seemed silent for a few seconds before finally opening his eyes.
"Yes, miss. I'm a waiter at this club." replied Alvin nodding his head.
Alvin then stood up straight to face the girl. "Is there anything you need?" bargained for.
"I'm sorry then." said Alvin.
Just as Alvin stepped foot, the girl spoke again.
"There's actually something I need."
Alvin turned around, "What do you need help with, Miss?"
"I'm a VIP guest here." said the girl but her words even made Alvin feel confused.
Alvin smiled awkwardly. He didn't understand the girl's intentions at all, but he responded anyway.
"Oh, then you must be looking for the VIP room, huh? The VIP room is upstairs. You want me to drop off?"
The girl stared at Alvin for a few seconds, then chuckled.
"Let me guess, you must be the new waiter here, right?"
"Surely, lady, I've only been working here for a few days." Alvin scratched his non-itchy nape.
"It turns out my guess is right." the girl was a beard. "I'm sure I've never seen you before."
"So, is there really nothing you need? Drinks?"
The girl smiled.
"No, I'll heat it up later." The girl then brought her face closer to Alvin to whisper, "I'll call you when I want something from you."
Alvin widened his eyes, but hurriedly controlled himself and stepped back.
"Well Miss, then I'll excuse you." Alvin said he was nervous because the woman was talking too close to him.
The girl stared at Alvin's departure and smiled.
"He can too." he muttered.
