Once inside, Alvin could only stare at the astonishment of the entire room featuring a large room containing luxury knickknacks.

The young man continued to circulate his gaze until he finally saw a man who was about fifty years old sitting at his desk, focusing on the computer before him and several other notebooks. He must be the manager this beautiful woman meant.

"Sorry, Mr. Robert." exclaimed the beautiful woman to the manager in a polite tone.

"Yes?"

"This young man says he wants to apply for a job here."

The man called Mr. Robert stopped his activities. He turned to Alvin for a moment and returned to focusing on the computer screen before him.

"Take him here, get closer to me." Mr. Robert ordered the beautiful girl.

Alvin was led to be right in front of Mr. Robert's desk. After that, the beautiful woman left, leaving Alvin alone with the middle-aged man.

A momentary silence.

"Excuse me, sir?"

Alvin finally began to open the conversation first because the middle-aged man did not invite him to talk.

Mr. Robert lifted his gaze to look at Alvin. He stared at Alvin's performance from top to bottom before then speaking.

"Please, you sit down first" said Mr. Robert.

"Good."

Alvin nodded his head then awkwardly pulled the chair before him and immediately sat himself right before the middle-aged man.

But after that the state returned to silence for a while because the middle-aged man looked back at his computer screen. It makes Alvin feel anxious himself but he is still trying to wait.

Shortly after, Alvin gave up all that silence and reopened the conversation.

"Ehm, so look sir, actually I had a chance to see a brochure of job vacancies in front of the gate. I want to ask you, can I"

"How old are you?" ask Mr. Robert suddenly, cut out Alvin's sentence.

"Yes?"

The old man glanced at Alvin as he sighed softly.

"How old are you? I mean you look so young. You need to know, work in this place there is an age limit."

"Age limitation?"

"really. Only people who are at least nineteen years of age and above are allowed to work here." explains Mr. Robert.

"Twenty?"

Alvin nodded. "true."

The manager looked down at Alvin. He seemed to be in disbelief. Alvin looks more like his seventeen-year-old son than twenty.

"But why does your face look like a seventeen-year-old?"

"Huh?"

"You're not lying, are you?" asked the middle-aged man hesitating.

Alvin looked at his own appearance in confusion then shook his head quickly.

"I'm twenty years old, sir. I can show my identity card as proof."

After saying that Alvin took out two of his identity cards. "This is my ID and this is my student card" he explained.

"You're a student?"

"Yes, I'm currently a fourth-semester student at one of the colleges."

Mr. Robert grabbed the two cards and perused them. The old man stared at Alvin and his identity card in turn. He looked back at Alvin for a while before handing the card back to Alvin.

"The remaining job vacancies are the servants. Being a waitress, don't you have a problem with that?"

"Of course not, sir. I'm willing."

"You sure?" asked the manager again in a doubtful tone.

"Can sir, I'm sure one hundred percent." Alvin said enthusiastically while nodding his head. "Honestly, I used to work as a waiter."

"Where's the waiter?" ask the old man.

"At a restaurant, sir."

The old man nodded in understanding. "All right, can I know what your name is? I didn't pay much attention to your name on the identity card earlier."

"Alvin Danu's. But you can just call me Alvin." replied Alvin politely.

The old man nodded his head again, understood. "Alvin, you're welcome here."
