Meanwhile in the living room, Alvin seemed to be standing rather agitatedly, waiting for Ziva.
Alvin stared at the area around the luxurious living room. He wonders. How can anyone have the money to build a house this luxurious.
It took Alvin twenty years to build a living room. Alvin shakes. To imagine it was impossible for him.
"Excuse me, but who?"
Alvin turned to see who had just asked him to speak. And a middle-aged woman was seen standing nearby, looking at him with a wondering expression.
"Oh, sorry ma'am. I came here to take the owner of this house."
"Introducing Miss Evelyn? Oh, you're Miss Evelyn's friend, huh?"
"I? No, I'm a nightclub waitress. I was asked for help to drive Miss Evelyn home."
"Oh, so. You want a drink first? What do you want to drink? I can provide." asked the woman again, calling another servant, it seems that he is the butler in this house.
Alvin shook his head quickly. "No, thank you. I'll be home soon too."
The woman smiled and understood. He then passed by leaving Alvin alone in that place.
Not waiting for long, Ziva finally appeared. He approached Alvin with a relieved smile on his face.
"Thank you for the help. I really don't know how it ends if you don't show up. Ah, I should have kept my girlfriend away earlier. I didn't expect that he would be so drunk like that. He's never been like this before."
"No problem, I'm just helping" Alvin said in a reticent tone. "It seems like everything is in order." he continued.
Ziva nodded in agreement "Hm, I'm so grateful that you've been willing to help me. Oh yeah, what was your name. Sorry, I don't remember that much…"
"My name is Alvin, miss." replied Alvin politely. "Then I'll just leave now" Alvin said farewell.
"alright. But what are you going to go home with? You were here with me. Ah, would I take you back to the nightclub?" tawar Ziva's.
"No need, miss." Alvin shook his head slowly. "It's almost dawn. I think it's best if you don't go home at dawn like this, it will be very dangerous for women to come out at this hour."
Ziva chuckled at the advice. One fact that Alvin did not know that in fact he was used to going home at hours like this. But Ziva still chose to answer him with a small nod.
"Yes. Thanks again." said Ziva.
Alvin was about to leave, but his steps came to a halt. He turned around and looked at Ziva with a smile.
"Oh it's another one" Alvin said as he reached into his pants pocket. "This is the lady's money."
Ziva raised his brow next to a puzzled one.
"This is the money I gave you. Why was it returned?"
Previously, while in the parking area of the club, Ziva did have time to give Alvin money as a sign of gratitude for help.
Alvin smiled awkwardly while scratching the back of his head that was not itchy.
"I think I should give it back. It's just a little help. And I volunteered to help without pay."
"No problem, just take it." said Ziva. "Just take it as a thank you to me for helping me out."
"But-"
"I said just take it!" ziva said firmly.
Alvin had to nod. "alright. Thank ye. Then I go first, miss.." she said.
Ziva nodded then noticed Alvin who was currently stepping away from Evelyn's house.
The young man even had to say goodbye to the security guard who stood guard near the gate until finally disappeared at the end of the road.
Ziva smiled and shook his head.
"The young man. Once again, Evelyn had made it difficult. Ah, I made Evelyn owe her an apology and a thank you." Ziva said with a small laugh and walked into Evelyn's house.
He decided to stay the night.
