"You're so useless, out you're fired" the store manager yelled at the skinny young man working at his shop who tripped and dropped the box he was carrying.

Walking into the alley he tightened his bag to his back, so it could not be stolen without him waking up, and he jumped into the pile of trash bags.

The smell did not bother him, and he would only shower once a month in a public bathroom which he would pay a few dollars to get in anyway.

Adam's stomach was rumbling and he was very hungry, but he had no money to eat.

As he closed his eyes, his tired body instantly fell into a deep sleep.
