The Dungeon System
41. Hunting python part 1

The high-speed Python, which was almost twice that of a peak human, was still fast as it crept onto Adam and wrapped around his legs with its long body.

Adam would be able to easily avoid the python's attempt to wrap himself up, but recklessly planned to take out the python by attacking his wounds as he attempted to do so.

However, Adam had made a huge mistake by underestimating the strength and intelligence of the python.

As it wrapped around Adam's leg, it started pouring more force to the point where Adam felt his leg would explode under pressure and felt his muscles being squeezed and almost torn.

Each time Adam exhaled, the long python continued to tighten its grip and loop its legs higher.

His fear of snakes was very difficult for Adam to overcome, even with the Hunter's mind, and only after being jolted by the sudden pain in his left leg did he become calm and aware of the mistake he had made.

"It's not an ordinary python, but one of the dungeons that are very powerful" Adam realized while covering his own face.

The Python slowly reached higher towards his groin area, Adam suddenly became worried and angry.

"Take me off" he cried, worried about his crotch which held his crown jewel.

He knew it was only a form of dungeon that had no effect on his original body, but was still unwilling to let his most valuable assets be polluted or destroyed even in the form of a dungeon.

As the snake continued to creep up and encircle his legs while tightening his grip, Adam stumbled backwards due to the weight, strength, and pain that the python placed on his feet.

Looking eye to eye with the beast seemed to mock him with glaring green eyes that had black gaps.

His intelligence was obvious to Adam from his eyes, but it only made him more furious as he launched his sword at the snake's head.

Python instantly, looking at the attack, hid his head under his circular body.

Adam's attack hit the python's body, but did not cause any damage, leaving only a small splinter on its scales.

Searching for the wounds he caused, Adam found the wounds were also hidden by his circular body which continued to tighten and slowly rise.

Sticking his breath and calming down, Adam began to explore his thoughts, in hopes of thinking of another plan to get the beast out.

[The best way for me to handle the grip of a python, from what I read online, is to hold its head so as not to bite me. He also said to take a deep, steady breath, and attack his tail which is the weakest part of his body and has the thinnest and flimsy scales] Adam recalled suddenly.

The head of the python was covered and its bite was not too threatening to Adam who had experienced an incredible pain that was incomparable to a mere snake bite, and he had stabilized his breathing, which was not enough, leaving him the only option to attack the python's tail.

While shouting, Adam felt his left leg suddenly break under the pressure of the python and could no longer withstand the pressure.

The attack penetrated straight through the thinner scales and revealed the soft inside of the snake.

With his desire to kill the beast, driven by his Blood Lust and the hatred he had towards the beast that had caused him pain and damaged his legs, he said, Adam horribly thrust his dagger into the inside of the python.

The python, which had loosened its grip, was startled by the sudden pain and the fact that Adam knew the weakness of its tail, was suddenly thrown from Adam's feet, taking advantage of the opportunity to release the python from him.

The python with its long body, which was unable to balance itself or soften its fall in the air, crashed into a tree.

Double slash

Adam instantly launched the two blades formed from the energy slash onto the python that fell on the ground.

Pulling the E Rank Fur Jacket he still had in inventory since he needed it on the 1st Floor, Adam tore it to shreds destroying the item and its value, but formed a bandage for himself.

After which, he crawled onto the thick stick he saw near the tree and after finding another stick that matched him, he crawled over, Adam aligned the two sticks on either side of his injured leg and wrapped the bandage he had formed from tearing his E-Rank Feathers apart. The jacket.

Within seconds, Adam smartly made a brace for his broken left leg and painstakingly stood up.

Standing on his feet was extremely painful, but with his HP and MP that exceeded twice that of a peak human, it was, he knew he would recover quickly and would manage to stand painstakingly on the injured leg.

Knowing that it was just a form of dungeon and he would not suffer any permanent damage from his injuries, Adam did not focus on the pain, wary of ferocious beasts that might try to attack him in his weakened condition.

His HP was not only how much damage he could withstand, but it also represented how much vitality was available in his body and along with its increase, so did his body's recovery speed along with the increase in vitality.

Strengthened by MP, it was the amount of energy available in his body, recovery would not take more than a few days to a week, which was incredible compared to ordinary humans.

But that wasn't Adam's goal and he didn't have much time to spend in the dungeon, and just wanted to prop up his legs before finding a way to recover them.

Adam only dared to do so during the battle because he had seen that the python had surrendered to the battle and tactically retreated immediately after being attacked by the second Dual Slash.

"I think I'm right. I wouldn't know what to expect from a python from the dungeon until I faced it head-on" Adam muttered, mocking himself, leaning against a tree.

Sometimes he really wonders to himself where he would be without the thought of the Hunter who saved him from so many stupid mistakes.

But it did not have full authority over his mind and his youthful stupidity and indiscretions could sometimes still come out.

Instead of regretting his decision, he learned from his mistakes and after repeating the battle repeatedly in his mind, he finally devised a realistic plan to take out the python beast from then onward.
