"Whether you're going in or just standing there" Cole called Adam and Sarah, as he lowered the window.

"We really had to chase things" Adam muttered as he walked around the car to enter the front passenger seat, and Sarah got in the back with Emma.

"So where are we going" asked Adam as Cole began to leave the restaurant.

"To my apartment, it's not too far from here" Cole replied as he played music.

Sarah and Ella start talking to each other in the back while Cole and Adam are quiet all the time and know that they need to be alone together to talk to each other about their past.

Adam notices that Cole is driving in the same direction as his apartment, but forgiving him was just a coincidence when he sat in a comfortable chair planning what he would say to Cole to cover everything he gained through the system.

However, when they reach the building where Adam lives, Cole stops and parks in the parking lot, leaving Adam confused by the fact that they stopped at his building.

"Why are we here?" adam and Sarah asked at the same time, both confused by what happened.

"We're going to my apartment like I said" Cole said, confused by their reaction when he stopped here.

Sarah put on an excited expression while Adam's expression was mostly still calm with a hint of confusion as Cole parked the car and they all got out of the luxury car.

"Why are you guys acting so weird" Emma and Cole asked Sarah and Adam.

"Well, we also live in this building" Sarah said.

Sarah answered the question without much thought, but only after saying it did she realize how strange it sounded from an outside perspective.

His face flushed with embarrassment as Ella and Cole stared at them insolently.

"Your relationship has grown to the level where you live together" Emma exclaimed puzzledly as she looked at the beautiful girl and the handsome man and thought they were a good couple.

Adam just shook his head, not bothering to argue, as he walked up to Cole gesturing for him to help him out of the awkward situation he was in.

"Should we go to my apartment" Cole suggested as he dragged Adam away, letting him get away from the awkward situation.

Leaving Emma constantly bombarding Sarah with questions about how she could be with Adam.

Adam with his charisma stat is at 5 points, compared to the average human charisma which is at 3 points, he said, it is attractive to the eyes and leaves a deep impression with all who see its jet black hair and bulging red eyes that seem to match perfectly its sharp features.

Heading into the building, security is shocked to see Adam with Cole, but instantly becomes respectful as they greet them.

The building where Adam lived was quite luxurious and was one of the best buildings in the area, which is why his apartment rent was so expensive at 6,000 dollars, and Adam would never have been able to afford it without the gold he had.

There are about 20 floors in the building and the higher it is, the more expensive the apartment will be.

With Adam's apartment at a low price of 6,000 dollars a month and lucky to find a good deal that may be due to the way he is treated in a real estate agent.

As the four of them stood inside the elevator, Adam looked closely at Cole's finger leading to a row of buttons that had numbers, designated for each floor.

But what Adam did not expect was that Cole pressed the button in the upper right corner that did not have a number and seemed to be reserved for special floors.

Adam can say that it was a 20-story building but then realized that the last floor that had a button on the elevator, was the 19th floor, and the golden button was where the button for the 20th floor should have been.

After pressing the button, Cole then placed his thumb on top of the button, which seemed to be scanning his fingerprints.

After his thumb was scanned, two small compartments of the wall appeared.

The compartment was exactly aligned with Cole's eyes as Cole Moved closer towards them and stared straight into the compartment, which after scanning his eyes flashed green.

The elevator appears to have been designed for Cole as the compartment returns to the wall as the lift begins to point upward.

Emma did not seem to be bothered by what she saw, while Adam and Sarah watched Cole with shocked expressions.

"What's the matter, have never seen someone as amazing as me," Cole asked with a satisfied smile.

Sarah was still completely shocked and didn't know how to react, while Adam smiles a little as he anticipates the opportunity to talk to Cole about what has happened to each other in the last 3 years apart from each other.

As the elevator stops, the door opens to reveal a huge open penthouse, with an indoor pool with a small fountain at the entrance, beautifully laid out.

Emma and Cole enter the penthouse as if it were normal, while Sarah and Adam stand in the elevator with their mouths agape at what is in front of them.

"Unbelievable" murmured Adam and Sarah in awe as they slowly walked inside the penthouse.

Emma eagerly grabs Sarah's hand as she rushes to drag her along with her, wanting to take Sarah around, leaving Adam and Cole behind standing opposite each other.

"Should we end up filling each other up on what we've missed" Cole suggested losing his usually cheerful nature and becoming downright serious.

"Lead the way" Adam agrees as he follows Cole across the penthouse to the balcony.
