"In this cold environment, the most likely Canidae animals are the wolf, coyote or fox arctic" he evaluated.

It seemed like it was a trap set up to make him fall inside.

By the time he realized it was too late to return and could not reach for anything with the slippery snow and his numb hands, as he slid into the huge hole, which he had lost, followed by the caller Leporidae who jumped after his master.
