After spending 15 minutes finding her balance and also realizing that she is spending too much time with her friends, which is sometimes a good thing, Adam decided he needed to spend more time teaching himself useful things or being productive.

Not only did he have to balance his mind, but also his use of time and spending system points, as he needed to save up for the transfer feature and the Ranked B Mortal Restoration Pill that was able to heal his aunt.

"How much longer until we get there" asked Adam, after finishing some sort of meditation, as he found his balance.

"So you finally decided to get up" Cole said, assuming that Adam had been asleep for the last 15 minutes.

"I'm sorry about that, I'm just a little tired" Adam said with a wry smile.

"Well there's half an hour left, so go back to sleep" Cole replied, pretending to be upset that Adam was sleeping while he was driving.

"Don't be like that, I'll stay awake the rest of the way" said the sarcastic Adam as the two of them began to laugh amongst themselves.

"By the way, I want to learn how to drive. If you have time, can you help me with that" asked Adam.

"Of course, after this boring auction, I can take you to an empty place and teach you how to drive" Cole bargained.

"Thank you, bro" accepted Adam with gratitude.

Along the way Adam and Cole have fun, playing all kinds of music that Adam has never heard and joked with each other.

Half an hour passed quickly as they enjoyed themselves.

"We have finally arrived" Cole announced as he turned the corner of a large building.

Driving to the entrance, they were greeted by a respectful worker and upon seeing Cole's invitation, they were allowed to enter.

Cole gives the worker his car keys and the worker parks the car for Cole, while Cole is followed by Adam getting inside the building.

It was a luxurious scene with all kinds of drinks, food, and desserts prepared on the long table beside it, while dozens of people were talking amongst themselves.

"Do I have to be here" Adam whispered to Cole feeling out of place with all the wealth around him.

"Yes, you should stay with your brother. If I have to be here, so do you. Isn't that good for friends" Cole replied shamelessly.

Everyone Adam had ever seen, wore expensive clothes and brands and even the workers dressed better than Adam and Cole.

Surprisingly only a few gave them dirty looks and most of them did not care much or not pay attention to the two young men.

"Well, this is just an entrance gala where you can chat with other people and this is where my dad wants me to make business connections. Then after this, there will be an auction at the auction house," Cole replied indifferently.

More and more people started to enter and Adam's heart suddenly sank when he saw someone he knew coming in.

It was the young thug that night who had the knife and harassed Sarah.

[Why is he here] thought Adam to himself, but did not let anything of his expression, learning from his past mistakes.

"It was the son of the gang leader in Brooklyn. This gang was known as the Wolf Fang Gang and they had all kinds of strong thugs and mercenaries to hire. They were also involved in arms trafficking and other illegal activities, but opposed selling drugs and never did" Cole whispered to Adam, realising he was watching.

"The son of the Wolf Fang leader is also known to be very embarrassing and reckless in terms of women and if any woman catches his attention, he will sleep with her, even if he needs to use force" Cole added.

Hearing Cole, Adam is surprised by how knowledgeable and conservative his friend has always been so careless.

[He certainly knew everything about what happened that night from what I explained to him and how I reacted when I saw him] assuming Adam.

"Don't worry, I'm hooded and Sarah isn't here so there's no way she can recognize me" Adam assures.

"OK, but be careful anyway because even though he was so arrogant and stupid and the thugs he brought were weak, his father was quite capable and strong in Brooklyn, especially the small area under his gang's control. And he is known for holding grudges and using underhanded means to get what he wants" Cole warns.

"I understand" Adam said as he and Cole walked away and into the crowd.

[Who would have thought that the lazy and careless Cole could be so reliable) Adam thought to himself, surprised by the change in Cole's nature.

'Who would have thought that the cautious, thin and always fearful Adam could get into a fight with a young gang boss, win, and stay calm without any sign of fear' Cole thought to himself, also surprised by Adam's change in nature.

[I was wearing the same clothes as I am wearing now, and maybe buying just one set of clothes would probably come back to bite me, if he recognized it] Adam realized.

He was not afraid of getting into conflict and after what he had to fight against in the dungeon, one could no longer intimidate him. But she is worried about her friends and her aunt who might be brought into their conflict and get hurt in the process, which she cannot let happen.

Cole and Adam talk amongst themselves as more and more people come along and they make sure to always be quite far away from the young gang boss.

But what Adam sees is that Cole doesn't seem to fear the young gang boss and doesn't seem to think of him as a threat to himself, which makes Adam wonder, who Cole really is.

After half an hour people entered and waited, while enjoying the drinks and food available, finally the auction time began.
