83. Growing auction house part 2

The intelligence statistics had a very minimal and almost indirect effect on the mindset and intellectual abilities of cultivators, as Adam realized. Its main effect was on the cultivator's ability to use and manipulate their energy and sensory abilities, which increased along with the cultivator's overall strength increase.

Adam did not feel any smarter, although he could memorize many things easily and repeat the previous events, but Adam felt as if it was the effect of his Hunters mind and not his intelligence status.

He began to realize how different he was from normal cultivators, and how his unique constitution, which the Underground Prison System provided, allowed him to have an advantage over cultivators.

While the statistics the system uses for him are then used to measure the strength of others, but the way others increase strength is much different from Adam's, that would strengthen every aspect of his body as he hunted in the dungeon.

The first gang on his list is a small group of thugs who will pressure small businesses and kiosks to pay for protection fees, and off the list, to, Adam could see that it was mentioned as one that had no cultivators.

Adam was annoyed by the task given to him, which he saw beneath him, and after seeing a small group of thugs in the area given to him, he headed straight towards them.

"Listen bastard, be at this location tonight. There are opportunities for jobs, money, power, and to join organizations" Adam orders while throwing business cards at them.

The thugs were shocked, annoyed and confused.

"Before you try to attack me, I must warn you, I will hurt you" Adam said casually as he waited for them to attack.

The group of 7 who saw his glaring red eyes and his hideous mask were intimidated, and felt that they could not move under his gaze.

"This must be the frightening effect that the Bloodlust characteristic has on others" Adam murmured to himself as he felt his desire to kill surging.

His blood lust seems to increase massively towards people he hates or has negative feelings towards, while towards those he cares for, it is almost non-existent.

The characteristics of bloodlust increase and increase killing intent and the desire to kill, but if he has no desire to kill someone, the bloodlust he feels towards them is negligible.

However, Adam did not want to risk losing control and always suppressed his bloodlust, only releasing it freely in the basement.

Walking away, Adam returned to the car and moved to the next location on the list.

After delivering a message to several small gangs, Adam has yet to use force and is shocked by how useful his Bloodthirsty characteristics are for things other than killing.

He was able to use his killing intent, which was extremely dense and overwhelming, to dominate and frighten those who looked into his eyes, and with that, he could make those weaker than him submit.

It was only after Adam reached the 8th group, who called themselves gangs, that Adam had to use force.

"Listen to you lowly criminals, being at this location tonight. There was an opportunity for work, money, power and to join an organization" Adam repeated, as he did with all the other groups, while throwing business cards at them.

[It seems like they are in a large group, and some of them have slightly above average strength, it is enough for them not to submit to my killing intent] observing Adam.

Despite facing 30 armed thugs who would scare ordinary people, Adam smiled when he finally used force.

"I'll warn you, don't try to attack me. Be at that location or you will miss the opportunity, which you will regret in the future" warned Adam as he turned to leave.

"The masked bastard was too arrogant. Arrest him" shouted the largest of the group that seemed to be the most powerful between them and the leader.

"Such stupid thugs, even if you desperately need power, these bastards are useless" Adam sneered as he turned to the barrage of attacks from nearby thugs.

Most of them use large blunt objects, such as metal rods and baseball bats, but some of them also have knives.

Adam could not help but laugh as he dodged all the attacks aimed at him easily, and with his speed and strength, snatched the two metal bars from the two thugs.

"You've been naughty, and I see here that you've been involved in rape in the past. It's time for some punishment" said Adam with his eyes sparkling with killing intent.

The list, given to him by Elizabeth, also mentions what crimes the group previously committed, and most of them were just petty crimes, but the gang was previously involved in rape.

It was one of the most disgusting crimes to commit and there was no way to justify it, and knowing that, Adam felt no need to hold back his power.

Swinging his staff quickly, Adam dropped the 5 thugs closest to him in the blink of an eye.

With his Dual Wielding Mastery of 10% it was quite easy to use both weapons and after using the dual dagger for a while, Adam was comfortable using 2 weapons at once.

Weaving among the group, Adam ran towards the leader who was his main target and could be used as an example.

"You'll regret ever putting your hands on an innocent woman" Adam said as he repeatedly hit the gang leader, leaving him on the verge of death.

Without stopping, Adam hit all of them with his two metal bars as he left the area stained with their blood as he threw the metal rod, taking out a business card with his address, which he had, and walked back to the car that was waiting for Elizabeth for him inside.

"What took you so long?" ask Elisabeth.

"You might want to get rid of this car and make sure that it's not on your behalf, because you're probably going to be punished as an accomplice to the crime" Adam said.

"This car is obviously going to be thrown away, but what are you doing" he yelled as he began scolding Adam as the driver moved to the next location.
