Adam instinctively felt that the man was unusual and that he could use his full strength against him, and even if he was normal, he was too arrogant and deserved to be hit.

Adam jumped off the ground and cracked his knuckles as he walked towards the short fat man.

Without saying much, Adam ran towards the strange man, using half his speed, and raised his hand to protect his face in a fist-style position.

Adam has no experience of hand-to-hand combat and has never fought with anyone before integrating with the system, so just use what he watches online from fight videos and tutorials.

However, despite having a brief idea and knowledge of how to fight, Adam never used it directly and this was Adam's first bare-handed fight.

[The best fighting style for me with my dual use mastery, for now, is boxing and also one of the most I've learned] decided Adam.

Swinging a swift punch, using half of his total speed, towards the man's face, Adam wanted to gauge his abilities and whether he was truly worth fighting for.

Jab left him straight and fast and just when Adam thought he had hit the man, he felt as if he had punched through thin air.

His eyes were glued to the fat man the entire time, but he had no idea what had happened to his fists and how he could miss.

"That's all you get, even for ordinary people you're just average" the man sneered arrogantly with his hands still held behind his back.

Adam was shocked and confused and did not know how his attack missed, but seeing the arrogant expression on the fat man's face, he could not help but get excited.

"I will show you all my strength" Adam roared as he stopped holding back any strength and speed and exploded launching a powerful right fist into the man's face.

But just like before, the fist did not hit anything and it seemed like it could be easily avoided by the fat man.

But Adam finds out that, has launched a left hook to his side right after, hoping to catch the man off guard, but again it doesn't land on him.

"You weren't too bad and thought you could let me off guard with a second blow, but you were still readable and careless" observed the strange man with a smile.

Adam continued to launch attack attacks with all his speed and power and not a single one of his attacks landed.

After a few minutes of continuing to attack, Adam saw his MP, which represented his Internal and External Energies, begin to descend and stop attacking.

[I had no chance against him and although I felt I was getting closer to hitting him, I did, he was too fast and all I saw was blur when he dodged my attack with his hands behind his back] Adam thought to himself.

Seeing Adam's attack, the strange man smiled widely and arrogantly.

"We're tired. I've got to say your strength is shocking and I don't expect you to have the power of Novice Rank 2. But you are still too weak and careless" the man sneered.

"But you launched so many attacks at me and it's only natural that I do the same" he said as he suddenly swung a kick into Adam's head.

Adam had no time to react and he was launched flying and crashed into the wall of the dojo.

Opening his eyes again, Adam woke up in the dark room he recognized when he had just arrived on the 1st Floor.

"This must be my consciousness and I must have fainted" Adam murmured to himself.

Turning back what was happening in his head, Adam still could not see clearly what was happening. But all he could see was that the man's arm was still behind his back, so it must have been a kick.

[System at what level of cultivation the strange man was] asked Adam curiously.

{It is information that I currently do not know, but even if I do know, I will not be able to tell you} answered the system.

The answer to the system surprised him and it was the first thing Adam asked the system unknown.

“So, I have actually found gold to find an incredible cultivator to be my master” exclaimed Adam happily.

Checking his status, Adam had lost some MP from the one-sided fight he had with the strange man, but what surprised him was that he had barely lost HP from the strange man's attack.

"It looks like he really didn't want to hurt me, otherwise he would have killed me in that one attack" Adam said.

[The system forcibly awakened my consciousness] Adam ordered, recalling how he regained consciousness on the 1st Floor.

The moment he heard his system, he felt as if his consciousness was forced back into his body which was an extremely painful experience when he woke up from a headache.

"You've regained consciousness, but not naturally. You seem to have forced your consciousness back into your body" observed the man.

Adam is surprised by how he easily manages to understand what he has done and he becomes afraid that his secret will be revealed.

[I have to be more careful and cannot reveal anything related to the Underground Prison System] Adam told himself.

Waking up Adam stretched his neck and inevitably asked the man how he managed to knock him down without hurting him.

"just simple. I've not even made contact with you and you're just overwhelmed by my Internal Energy" explained the man arrogantly.

He made it sound very simple and easy, but Adam could guess how difficult it was to do it and how much control and power it required.

But instead of arguing or arguing with the man, Adam suddenly blurted out what he really wanted.

"Can you be my master please"
