The Dungeon System
39.2 floor

{It's almost 10pm and you will be taken to the dungeon in 30 sec} system announced.

"Damn" cried Adam suddenly, completely forgetting the time.

He suddenly jumped from the chair he was sitting in across from Cole.

"What's up," asked Cole worried about Adam's sudden change in expression.

"I know this is really weird, but do you have a place to sleep?" adam asked hurriedly, knowing he would not be able to arrive at his apartment in time.

"It's weird, but pick an empty room that's down there and you can do it as you please" Cole said as he pointed to the corridor inside the penthouse and chuckled to himself, adam ran towards them.

"He has changed a lot, but he is my same brother and I will make sure that what he is going through will not be repeated" cole muttered to himself as he watched Adam rush to the spare room.

The two know that each other has missed a lot of information and has some things that they did not reveal, but both trust each other and are happy that they can finally reunite.

Adam rushed to the nearest spare room and after closing the door behind him, he jumped onto the bed when he heard another notification echoing in his mind.

{Ding, the host is being transported to Dungeon} the system states as he feels his soul being sucked out of his body.

After landing on the solid ground, he easily opened his eyes, preparing to fight, and, but it calmed down after seeing that he was in a strange closed room leading to one corridor that was closed by a gate.

{Home master has now completed Floor 1 and will now enter Floor 2 which has the same rules and application. The host must reach LVL 20 and or defeat the Boss Beast on Level 2 to move to the underground floor of the next Mortal level} system states.

{You may enter} gives the system when the gate blocking him from the corridor is opened.

Taking a deep breath to calm his mind, Adam stepped forward and headed for the golden light at the end of the mysterious corridor.

Meanwhile, Cole joins Emma and Sarah who try all kinds of outfits and avoid all the questions towards her asking about what happened between them and what they were talking about.

After rushing past the golden light, Adam felt himself being sucked into another space again and the moment he landed, he instantly prepared for battle.

Unlike on the 1st Floor, Adam appeared to a position near the edge of the floor that was visible to him, and was at once happy and angry.

He was happy that he was born into a safer position, but given the dangerous position he was born in earlier, he was furious.

{Before the host asks, the host is popped into the basement randomly and the system has no control over it, however, on this Floor the host appears near the edge} said the system.

Leaving Adam without saying anything as he rejoiced and focused on the basement.

"I have made it to the 2nd Floor, but God knows how many floors there are and where the LVL cultivators are, so this is not the time to be complacent" Adam murmured to himself, with passion.

[Last time I purposely lost control of bloodlust because it gave me an exhilarating boost of strength and freedom. However, now that it is triggered by seeing the blood and corpses, I will set it up and control it. And would only use the characteristic extension of Bloodlust if no other option] was planned for Adam as he looked around to see what kind of environment he was in.

All around him, he could see dense and dense trees of varying height and blocked his gaze into the sky, as he realized that he seemed to be in some kind of rainforest.

Going through his mind to find out what he knew about the rainforest ecosystem, he discovered the many advantages and disadvantages he was beginning to tell himself, he said,

[The advantage is that they are densely populated, there are plenty of places to climb and hide and there is a lot of food and resources that I never thought I would find while in a dungeon. The disadvantages are exactly the same as what the rainforest has to offer me because they will be offered to a large number of animals that I will encounter] Adam said.

[Rain forests are very dangerous and there are many snakes and venomous insects, as well as carnivorous animals that attack humans. The land can also be very dangerous and uneven, and the forests in some places are so dense that they are almost impossible to explore].

Not allowing it to discourage him, he strengthened his will and pulled two daggers from his inventory.

Looking at its durability, it has dropped 6 and has 4 points of durability left.

"I may have to part with this dagger soon" sighed Adam who increasingly favored the double dagger that increased his speed.

"I need to hunt and get new weapons and loot, without wasting time" Adam said bravely, as he began to walk slowly and carefully among the trees and enter the rainforest.
