The Grief of the Two Red Lines

The Grief of the Two Red Lines
Double Personality

Brian and Andre walked towards the campus cafeteria. They just finished an important course this afternoon.

For a few days Brian's heart was broken. Rinnada had already three nights in a row to invite her to meet at an ordinary cafe. Surprisingly, Rinnada is not at all visible during the day or the usual hours his class takes place.

His eyes caught the usual friends with Rinnada. He also approached them directly.

"Excuse me, you're Rinnada's friend, right?" Ask Brian politely.

"Ah, brother Brian? Right, I'm his friend". She is Mia. Rinnada once handed Brian chocolate to him.

"Where's rinnada? Is he in? Why not be with you?" Brian's back-to-back questions are given because he's restless not seeing Rinnada.

"He hasn't been in four days, brother. I don't know, he does that a lot. Doesn't your sister know?" Obviously Mia who at once wondered why he who every time met his girlfriend instead asked.

Brian was silent for a moment. Four days not in? Doesn't he look healthy? Every meeting is always energetic as usual.

"Does he have a reason?" Brian asked back.

Mia shook her head. "Rinnada is a closed person, brother. But lately, he did not look eager to learn. Not as usual."

Brian nodded slowly. "All right, thank you, yeah."

Brian sat down next to Andre who was eating at the cafeteria table.

"He said he was lazy to learn after knowing me". He said suddenly while grabbing the crackers on Andre's plate.

"You're a bad influence on everyone". He said while hitting Brian's hand to drop the cracker earlier.

Ck. Brian clucking. So ticklish. Mumbled.

"Hey, Brian. I forgot to tell you". Andre spoke with a mouth full of food.

"What". Brian picked up Andre's iced tea glass and sipped it.

Andre swallowed his food. "If you're confused about your boyfriend changing like a chameleon, maybe you can learn multiple personality disorder".

BRACKET!

The glass in his hand was placed roughly. Made Andre surprised and looked towards his glass. 'Es tea ku😭'.

"What?" Brian turned to Andre's dumb-ass face staring at the empty glass in Brian's grasp.

"Yes. Diseases such as depression. His consciousness changes often." Crutches! The sound of crackers breaking in Andre's mouth.

"So you're saying, Rinnada has that kind of illness?"

"If I hear from your story, anyway, so. I know a little after telling your case to my sister. He's, right, in medical school."

Brian was silent for a moment. "What did your sister say? Is it the same as Rinnada?"

Andre nodded. "She said, maybe the girl has a different personality. Usually, the way of speaking, grooming style, or others also change unlike the original self"

Brian pervaded Andre's words. It makes sense, he thought. Given Rinnada often different appearance and style of speech.

"People with multiple personalities have two sides. The first and second sides are very contrasting. They also often forget what we say if the other personality that dominates him. "But, Yan.." Andre was silent for a moment. Doubt to convey it. He exhaled his breath. "It's a pretty serious mental illness. Need pskiater handling".

Brian leaned his body on the chair. There was a bit of sadness for Rinnada if it was true that she had multiple personalities.

"If I may give you a suggestion, leave him, Yan". Andre felt a little sorry for Brian. This man seems to love Rinnada very much.

Brian was silent. Mind empty. Don't know what to do.

"Save yourself, your future, and your descendants."

Andre's words made Brian look up.

"What do you mean?" Andre's words sounded very exaggerated.

"That's an inherited disease, Yan." Andre is sad. It was as if he understood his friend's feelings.

Hearing that, Brian was like a lightning strike. How is it possible, hereditary diseases?

In Brian's mind full of Rinnada's face. Instead of thinking of leaving, Brian became increasingly determined not to leave him, and helped him to heal.

Brian moved from his seat. Girded his bag and hurried away leaving Andre who was staring at him questioningly.

Brian recalls, Rinnada once explained the position of his house even though he did not allow Brian to come. I don't know what the reason is, but the girl actually refused Brian's visit.

After browsing slowly and asking here and there, Brian found a large house with a yard full of plants and flowers. Brian could see it because the high fence was a bit tenuous. The house looks very peaceful.

Brian rang the bell on the fence. Before long, he saw a middle-aged woman approaching.

"Who's looking, huh?" Bi Sum asked from behind the fence. Didn't open the door because Brian was a stranger to her.

"I'm Brian, Bi. Finding Rinnada. Is this really his house?" Brian said carefully.

"Oh, Brian boy. Want to see Miss, huh?". Bi Sum said as if he knew her.

"Ah yes Bi, right. Aunt knows me?" Ask Brian

"of course". Bi Sum replied smiling. His hand pulled the key over the fence.

The sound of the car made Brian look back. Rinnada got out of the car.

"Sister Ian? What are you doing here?" Rinnada asked with a surprised and confused face.

"Ah.sorry, Rin. I'm..."

BRAKK!!

The sound of the big house door being hit was so strong. They looked in that direction.

"Come, come with me." Rinnada pulls Brian into his car.

The car is running at medium speed. Mr. Tono occasionally glanced back through the rearview mirror in the middle.

"I'm sorry, Rin. I was so excited to come to your house". Brian said regretfully.

The girl just smiled. "It's okay".

Brian looked at Rinnada. This girl turned out to be just like the real Rinnada. His fragrance, tone of speech, gentleness, and graceful appearance also appeared. Brian clasped Rinnada's hand. "You're always like this". Say again.

Rinnada raised his eyebrows. "Look, what?"

"Always beautiful." Temptation Brian who made Rinnada let out his smile. This smile seemed like it had not seen him for a long time.

Brian touched the end of the ribbon wrapped around a bit of Rinnada's hair. The circumference reached down her hair, leaving a small amount of ribbon that decomposed with her other hair. The tape Brian gave me was yellow. Same with the color of the skirt Rinnada wears.

"Sir, we stopped at this intersection." Said Rinnada to Mr. Tono, the driver.

"But, Non.."

"It's okay, sir. I can take care of myself. This is my girlfriend, really. We just stop here, yeah." Rinnada Pinta.

They join hands along the streets that other students use. The road to the campus is not so far away.

"Why haven't you been in college for a few days?" Brian looked next to him.

Rinnada was silent.

"Are you getting lazy from college because of me?" Ask again. "Every night we meet. But not in class. Is there a problem?"

Rinnada stop. Looking at Brian while furrowing his brows. "Every night?"

Brian nodded. This is what Andre said. He forgot every other self he was mastering.

"Did you forget?" Ask Brian again. Looking at Rinnada who was just silent, Brian clasped both hands of the girl. "Rin, tell me. Is there something you need to heal?" Brian's eyes caught a slightly surprised expression on Rinnada's countenance. Brian pulled her by the hug. She rubbed her fragrant hair. "I'll keep going next to you, Rin. I'm not leaving you a step." Brian's words slightly stretched out Rinnada's nerves that were tense due to the words coming out of his mouth.

"What is my sister saying?" Rinnada let go of her embrace.

"That's it. The point is, you are present day or night, I still love you. Whichever personality you show, I still love you". Brian kissed Rinnada's hand. The girl was holding back a laugh.

"Ah, I forgot." Brian took something from his bag. He gave one carton bag to Rinnada.

"What's this?" Rinnada received a gift from Brian with a happy smile.again this man gave him a gift.

Rinnada. Her eyes sparkled at the beautiful blue chelated scarf. "Finally pretty". Happy speech. His eyes turned to the face of Brian who was also happy to see Rinnada who liked the gift from him.

"Sister always gives me gifts, while I haven't given anything". Rinnada's face turned sad considering all this time only Brian had given her a surprise.

"You always give me a beautiful gift". Brian stared at the girl's face.

"Gift?" Ask Rinnada astonished.

Brian nodded. He pointed at Rinnada's lips. "This. The gift you always gave me. Your smile." Brian caught the happy face of Rinnada. Heart's beating. I don't want to leave that girl.

Rinnada showed that smile again. "Thank you, baby." He hugged Brian. The smile did not come off his face. He's really happy now.

Brian escorted Rinnada to the front of his classroom hallway and left after seeing Rinnada disappear from the hallway.

He steadied his heart to always be with Rinnada. The girl had touched the deepest recesses of her heart. 'I love you so much, Rinnada' he said in his heart.

Seriate....
