Brian walked quickly, he went to Yara's room and only found Mbok Inah there. He headed for the Cafeteria that Mbok Inah showed him.
There Revi and Hani are with Zaira who is busy with her report.
"Bec.." Brian sat next to Zaira without asking, his face panicked.
"I have important information." He said to Zaira and the others, all of you should know, he thought.
Zaira furrowed her brows, she was actually not interested in the news Brian had brought.
"Ra, it turns out that Gio's doctor already has a son and a wife!" He said then all fell silent, looking at Brian who was tense.
"I'm just from his hospital and the nurses said he came yesterday with a sick woman and child. That's his wife, Ra. You don't get fooled."
"Gdgt.." Hani closed her mouth, holding back the laughter that almost broke due to Brian's words.
So did Revi who clenched his lips tightly so as not to laugh.
Another with Zaira who was bowed while holding her forehead.
"I'm talking seriously!" Smoke again.
Zaira stood up, tidied up her stuff and went to hold the file in her left hand.
Brian followed Zaira. "Ra, you have to trust me." He said while equating the steps with Zaira.
While Hani and Revi were already laughing out loud.
"Yes, I believe you". Zaira answered lazily.
"I went there and got the story from the nurse he was with every day, Ra."
Zaira stopped, looking at Brian with a lethargic face. "I believe you, now go."
"If so, don't marry her". Tukas Brian holding Zaira's left arm.
"Don't interfere with my description". He then took his hand off Brian and walked again.
"I just checked it out.."
"Huh. You came and investigated? You did that? What's for?" Zaira asked with a suppressed voice, she did not want many people to hear her.
"I just want you to be happy, Zaira. I don't want you to get a bad guy."
"Then, you?"
Brian fell silent.
"If he's not good, then what are you?" Look at Zaira sharply.
Brian gulped his saliva, Zaira said of his heart. He was speechless while Zaira continued her seemingly annoyed path.
Brian sat in a long chair, folded his hands and leaned his head against the wall. What Zaira said was right, she wanted Zaira to have the right man, then what he was like, because he also wanted to go back to Zaira.
"I don't want you to be happy with anyone else, Zaira. Just imagining it made me feel troubled.." She softly cupped both hands in her face, she could not think of such a thing in her mind. It hurt her feelings too much.
Brian walks again, stepping away from the hospital to his destination for Yara.
...🧸...
Zaira was twitching her forehead which felt dizzy. Today, his work is not finished, there are still some patients waiting until he can not go home sooner, therefore he continues to monitor Yara through Mbok Inah.
His phone shook, Zaira opened a message from Mbok Inah, a picture of Yara and a big clown doll being hugged by Yara and the little girl smiling widely.
Seeing that, Zaira also felt happy to see her little daughter.
"Eh, who's this clown?"
As he was about to reply, the door was knocked and a patient came in. Zaira kept her phone.
A few hours later, Zaira enters Yara's room, where she sees Yara falling asleep with a clown on her bedside.
As Zaira approaches, she sees Brian in a clown suit that she has not yet let go of.
The room looks beautiful with lots of balloons and flowers.
"You're home yet?"
Zaira gasped, Brian breaking his reverie.
"Sorry, I overslept". He said slowly so that Yara would not wake up.
"You did this?" Zaira's eyes stared up where the balloons were hovering above.
"She told me she was bored. So I made it like this". He said and gently stroked Yara's hair.
Brian stood up and took off his clothes, he looked angry.
"Thank you for making Yara happy, mas". He said with a sincere smile. Looking at the photos of Yara who looked very happy made her feel the need to say that word.
Brian just replied with a smile. She did not expect Zaira would finally give her smile again to her who later always made her angry.
"Well, I'll go home first, if there's anything, let me know soon." She kissed Yara gently, treating her like her own child.
Then, the door opens. Gio came with a teddy bear in his hand.
"Hi". Sapa Gio to Zaira who is smiling with a thin smile.
"Oh, here.." Gio hung his sentence on Brian.
"I'm a hired clown".
His words made Zaira's eyes widen.
"Oh, so. Yara's sleeping, yeah". He said as he walked towards Yara. Then he and Zaira had a casual chat about the few days after Yara had a seizure.
Zaira seemed to forget Brian's presence when she met Gio. Brian also saw a sense of comfort in Zaira's eyes while chatting with the doctor.
Brian had already gotten word from Andre and told him the true events about Gio's doctor.
At least he felt embarrassed, in the end he was seen losing to doctor Gio.
Brian continued to look at Zaira who occasionally laughed, it felt like he had not seen Zaira laugh like that because of her actions.
Brian just came out without saying goodbye with clown clothes in his hand, at a glance he saw the gaze of Gio who did look very interested in his ex-wife.
Brian closed the door slowly, after seeing the two people in the room, he felt guilty for forcing Zaira too much to be with him.
Although heavy, she will be breastfed when Zaira married the man of her choice. Zaira deserves to be happy. Three years he was alone, it has proven he can survive even without a man in his life.
"Brian.."
A middle-aged woman greeted him, Brian turned his head and found Rinnada's mother in front of him.
"Brian, thank goodness I finally met you. Can I talk to you for a second?"
Brian followed Winda who walked to a long bench in the middle of the park.
"Brian, I'm sorry. I really regret what I did to you. I didn't even see you because of my embarrassment for you. I'm really sorry."
Winda lowered his head, he conveyed an apology that even Brian did not expect.
"I've forgotten everything, Auntie."
"I haven't apologized in person. God has punished me. Now for the sake of my guilt towards my two daughters, I will only take care of Dinnara all my life."
His eyes looking forward, Brian also looked towards the eyes of Winda who turned out to be fixed on Dinnara who was sitting while hugging the doll. Dinnara pensively, not moving at all.
"I feel guilty because your relationship with Ziara is broken because of me."
"No, it was my fault". Brian Say.
"Zaira's been tormented all this time because of me too."
"What does that mean?" Zaira asked in astonishment when she heard the words of Vinda just now.
"She always consulted Revi's doctor a few years after parting ways with you. I know she's depressed because of my daughter's behavior. So, I was always careful that Zaira would not see my son's face so that he would not remember his bad times more".
The explanation of Winda, surprised Brian. "Zaira's depressed?" His question was filled with curiosity, what he missed so he did not know Zaira was suffering after they separated a few years ago.
