Zaira held a piece of paper. The writing on the paper convinced him that Brian was still in touch with the woman.
"Miss.." Mbok Inah touched slowly the arm of Zaira who had been silent in place. She was crying without a sound.
Zaira looked again at the writing on the paper. And threw it on the floor.
"Please sort it out, Mbok." Speak with a soft voice. He moved from where he stood.
Mbok this with mixed feelings quoted pictures of Brian with other women. Unexpectedly, Mbok Inah who had seen how sincere Brian was to make his relationship with Zaira very harmonious, there was an affair behind it.
"Pity of Non Ira". Mbok Inah shed tears. He is also grieved over the betrayal Brian committed on the man he has considered his own son.
Mbok Inah then quoted the paper that had been squeezed by Zaira.
'Happy dear, you will finally have a descendant'
"Well.." Mbok Inah shed his tears. His hatred for Brian began to appear. He quickly put everything in the box while wiping away his tears.
"Mbok, where's Zaira?" Brian's voice made Mbok Inah slightly lowered so that he did not look like he was crying.
"Sa-I don't know, den."
Brian looks confused while staring at the screen on his phone.
"Tell him, I have a sudden interest with the client so don't have dinner at home. Please yes, Mbok" Brian said and left.
Mbok Inah just shook his head. She seemed to know where her employer's husband was headed.
...****...
The car is speeding. Brian looked at the street in front of him. His mind is at war. Just now when he was about to take a shower, Brian suddenly got a message from an unknown number. The foreigner's number sent a photo testpack and congratulation because he was going to be a father. Brian initially thought it was just a misdirected message. Before long, the number sent out another picture of her and Rinnada who were on top of the bed with no clothes on her body.
Brian's eyes were wide. He looked at the photo carefully. Right, it's him and Rinnada. How could he have such a photo with Rinnada?
Brian clutched his phone firmly. The woman took pictures of such an embarrassing thing.
Brian quickly went out of the room. He doesn't want Zaira to know. He quickly headed for the car to get to Rinnada's apartment. He wanted to make sure of what Rinnada was doing this time. She thought, Rinnada really disappeared and forgot about it. It turned out that he was preparing for even crazier things.
Brian clutched his steering wheel tightly. If Rinnada is pregnant, she doesn't know what's going to happen.
Brian rang the bell of Rinnada's apartment in a hurry until without pause. From the inside, the door opened quietly as if it knew who would appear.
Brian stared intently at Rinnada who hid his body behind the door with a smile.
"Please enter". He said while opening the door.
Brian walked in and momentarily stopped with a feeling that tea was stunned to see what was on the table.
"Sister, here". Rinnada pulled Brian by the hand and pushed him to sit on the couch. Rinnada sat down next to her and picked up the baby gear on the table.
"Look, these are our baby clothes. Funny, right?" Rinnada shows Brian baby clothes. He then took out many other baby needs.
"Hey!" Brian clutched Rinnada's hand until he stopped his activities.
"You don't make it up." Brian's eyes were sharp at Rinnada.
"I'm not making this up, brother." Rinnada stood up and took something from his room. He came back with a picture in his hand.
"Look. This is the fetus inside." Rinnada smiled as she gently stroked her stomach.
Brian stared at the picture with an unusually tight heartbeat.
"This is your son. Your flesh-blood. Shouldn't you be happy because you finally have offspring?" Rinnada touched Brian's cheek. He made the man momentarily silent.
Brian leaned back against the sofa and closed his eyes with his arms. Brian nodded harshly. The heavy thing in him was actually happening right now. He stood up and walked to the door to go home.
"Sister, wait". Rinnada held onto Brian's arm that looked like it was not powered anymore. He's very lethargic.
"Sir, what's wrong? Isn't this good news for the brother who is looking forward to the descent? I'm going to give birth to a sister. I promise not to ask to be married." He said in a pleading tone and tightly grasped Brian's hand which was just silent.
Brian let go of Rinnada's grasp. He walked out the door limp. Brian walked down the aisle of the apartment with a shunt. After all, Rinnada was pregnant and she couldn't possibly hide it from Zaira.
Brian put his forehead on the steering wheel. He seemed to be walking on a pile of needles. How could he have experienced something this heavy.
Tok.dok..
Rinnada knocks on the car glass. Brian looked over but had no intention of opening it.
"Sister, open. Listen to me first. I promise I'm not asking for your responsibility." Rinnada's voice sank but was still heard from the inside, he continued to knock on Brian's car glass. But the man was tired. He starts the car engine and runs it without caring Rinnada pleads with him outside his car.
Brian leaned his back on the car seat. His left hand held the wheel. He did not dare to go home. He was afraid to see the face of Zaira who had sincerely accepted and forgiven him. The lies that he had uttered at that time would now reap the rewards.
Brian pulled his car over on the quiet side of the road. Knocked his head repeatedly to the back of the chair.
He tries to find solutions but always fails. His brain could not think at all. It felt like he was going to turn the clock around and make Zaira the only lover of his heart. How could Rinnada, the once good-natured girl become obsessed with her love.
Rinnada, the woman who continues to emphasize Brian's happiness as a top priority in his life. Even when Brian did not want to marry another woman, he was angry because of the stupid thing Brian said.
But now, that woman really loves Brian beyond limits. How could he accept the child that Rinnada conceived?
Brian knocked his head back to the steering wheel of his car. He has given all sorts of things to his stupidity. Inevitably, he did have to tell Zaira.
Brian then straightened his body. Recall of Zaira's request to adopt the daughter of a woman who is in a psychiatric disorder.
Brian runs his car. Somehow the thought came up. But wouldn't it be better if Zaira took care of her biological child? In the past, Zaira had allowed him to do that, right?
Brian bit his finger while staring at the empty street in front of him. An incredible uneasiness controlled him. 'What.. Zaira wants to accept the child Rinnada conceived as an adopted child?'
"Argh, Shit! I don't have a way anymore!" He screamed in his car.
Seriate....
