NOVEL: MARRYING A BLIND MAN

Kanaziya poured the drink into his small glass. He spent it in one gulp. His eyes squinted at a man who was suddenly sitting next to him.

"Away alone, Miss?"

Kana smiled thinly. He grabbed the bottle and the man took it from Kana's hand.

"Let me go". He said and poured water into Kana's glass and the glass.

He raised his little glass. "Tos, for our solitude tonight". Lazily Kana raised her glass welcoming the man's glass.

"What's your name, Miss?"

Not yet Cana answered, someone interrupted.

"Excuse me, he's mine."

The man looked back, a woman in very revealing clothes smiled at him.

The man looked at Kana, then again at the woman behind him, and saw Kana again who did not deny the woman's words. Without saying anything, he passed away.

Alana chuckled, the man must have thought they had a crazy relationship. He sat down next to Cana and poured his drink.

Kana lit a cigarette. Exhaling the smoke slowly, his mind floated along with the smoke billowing from his mouth.

"You're fucked up".

Kana did not answer. He smoked his cigarette deeper.

"That son of a bitch, don't give me another chance!". Alana snatches the cigarette from Kana's hand and swipes it.

"You're always hard to tell." Omel Alana to Kana who has been repeatedly cheated on her lover.

Kana took her cigarette from Alana. "This is the last one". He smoked a cigarette and put out the fire.

"Last what! What you said yesterday, too!."

Kana moved from her seat not caring about the babble of her best friend.

"Where are you going? Hey!"

"Find a handsome man." He answered while wearing his clothes. "He paid for it". He said to the bartender.

"What's? Hey, you're this! Don't talk to me once, just ask me to pay!" Then Kana just waved her hand without looking at Alana again.

He's out of there. Take a leisurely walk enjoying the night breeze that hit his face.

Kana checked her phone. Looking at the new clock at 9pm and there was no notification from someone he had been waiting for his apology since.

He breathed slowly. It's too early to go home. Kana proposes she goes a little further to calm her feelings that never improve.

This morning, he approached his girlfriend, Noah, in his contract. He entered because he had the key that Noah had deliberately given him.

But he stopped when he saw the women's shoes that he was sure were not his on a shoe rack.

Just as his feet stepped, he heard a sighing voice from the woman from inside Noah's room.

Kana's heart trembled even harder as she noticed the sensitive movement of the gap of the door that was not tightly closed.

Kana's hand shook. She held back her tears that were about to break, then kicked hard at the door until it opened wide. Kana stood up with an angry face that was about to explode.

Noah and the woman were shocked. They sat down and hurriedly covered the naked body.

Just like that, Kana chose to leave without a word. Saying anything is free. The man cheated on me repeatedly. So far Kana has only caught him chatting via social media. Today, Noah made it clear with the relationship in bed.

Kana kicked the empty can in front of her as she recalled the bad incident again. He wanted to burn those memories, but it was too difficult because of the deep heartache that kept him thinking.

Kana stopped, her eyes fixed on a man with a perfectly handsome face to make Kana flabbergasted.

The man was wearing a white shirt with sunglasses sitting among the flowers on the front porch of his shop.

Kana looked left and right, making sure she didn't go the wrong way. He knew this path, but only knew there was a flower shop there. And these nights, they're still open.

Seeing the man who was inhaling the scent of flowers, Kana was interested in teasing him.

"Good night, is it still open?"

The man gasped, he kindly smiled at Kana, but he did not stand up in welcome.

"Good night, Miss." Greet her with a heavy voice that sounded sexy in Kana's ear.

"What kind of flowers are you looking for? On the right there is Orchid, in front of me there are roses, lilies, Chrysanthemums, and to the left of me Carnations."

The man pointed at the flower he called his name inappropriately.

"Wrong. To your left is a rose, in front of it is a daisy and at the end is a tulip."

The man was silent for a moment. "Ah, forgive me."

"It's okay. When did this shop open?" Kana asked while picking up a rose.

"Just 2 days ago, Miss."

"Want". He said while inhaling the scent of roses.

"A Ford Lavender"

"What?" Kana did not understand the man's words.

"Your perfume".

"Oh, really? I don't know. Just like the smell". Kana kissed her arm which she sprayed perfume on.

The man smiled and looked very charming.

"So, what flowers are you going to buy?"

Kana sat down casually in front of the man. "I don't like flowers now. It reminds me of that jerk who always gives me this." He said pointing at the rose in his hand.

"So?"

"I'm just curious, because I've never seen a flower shop here and its caretakers are handsome men anyway." Kana crossed her legs until her thighs were slightly exposed due to the short skirt she was wearing.

"Am I handsome?"

"of course. Is your glass cracked?"

The man laughed crisply. He then opened his glasses. "I don't know because I don't see him anymore".

"Is that so?" Kana said no matter and then put the rose again.

"H 'em. I'm blind."

"Yes, yes, many men today are blind. Look, less what I am until he cheats." He told the man he had just met.

"Your boyfriend cheated?"

"Yes, and the funny thing is, she's no more attractive than me. It was foolish of her to choose a lower woman as an affair". Oceh Kana made the man smile.

"Can you ask for help? Get me the plants hanging there". The man pointed to the wall on which hung a white pot.

Kana stood up and took it. "This?"

The man cleared his throat but his face did not point in the right direction making Kana furrow her brows.

"That's a lily, good for evoking the mood." He said with a smile looking ahead.

"Continue?"

"Take it. Don't forget to watered. She'd be so pretty if she grew up in the right hands." The man then stood up and walked slowly around her.

Stunned, the man turned completely blind.

"I'll close. Is there anything else?"

"Ah, yes." Kana stutters. He is still digesting the man's condition.

"Oh, how much is it?" Kana raised the pot in her hand.

"It's free for women who are heartbroken. Just so you take good care of him." The man smiled and went inside the store and started to take his wand and then came out again.

The man locked the shop door, and walked slowly with his cane.

"You still there?" The man stopped in front of Kana.

"Ah, you know what?"

"Your perfume is still here"

Kana laughs. "You want to go home? Do I want to take you?"
