The Grief of the Two Red Lines

The Grief of the Two Red Lines
ExtraPart1

Zaira took off her high heels lazily, leaving her lying originally on the floor.

He leaned his body on the sofa, glancing at the clock above the wall. It was already 12 p.m., he had just returned from Andre's party which made him inevitably stay there. Fortunately, Mbok Inah has gone home first with Yara.

Zaira sighed, her head slightly dizzy from the drink earlier. Somehow he got stuck at that closing show.

She then remembers Brian, an ex-husband whom she had not met for a long time. His face was getting tangled, he looked less self-care. Where and what his job was, Zaira never knew.

Zaira looked ahead. Recalling Brian's words that were either conscious or not, he said longing words, and sounded dusty.

"I miss you". Brian said that sentence while looking at the glass of wine in his hand. It was as if he was not talking to Zaira who immediately turned his head when he heard that sentence coming out of his mouth.

Zaira chose not to say anything, because she also missed Brian, but not as a person she loved, but as a person she used to see his face every day.

"You live well, you're a tough mom, too." Brian lowered his glass, his face turning towards Zaira who had been staring at him since.

Brian turned to look at Andre and Yuna there. The sound of music that sank makes some couples appear to dance while hugging as well as the newlyweds, look very friendly with the occasional kiss that Andre lay on his wife's forehead.

Brian smiled obliquely at the scene, his eyes staring pushyly, he was a little drunk, but could still clearly see the friendly couple there, making him think of his marriage to Zaira ten years ago. "Sweet one". He said with a smile.

Brian turned to look, looking at Zaira who was still looking at him expressionlessly.

"I can't live my life well, Zaira. I keep thinking about you.." Brian downed his drink until the glass was empty. He was rummaging in a soft tone, making Zaira faintly hear his words.

"I can't forget you, Zaira. Can't do..."

"Don't look at me like that, Ra. You're making me look pathetic."

Brian smiled, then gently stroked Zaira's cheek. "You're getting pretty." she said slowly. He looked at Zaira's lips, closing his face to the woman's face. The man wanted to kiss his ex-wife, he missed the woman he touched.

Zaira threw away her face as Brian's lips drew closer to hers, almost kissing her ex-husband.

Without saying a word, Zaira got up and left there, leaving Brian drunk. The man lost his consciousness, making him act out of bounds.

Zaira cupped her face with both hands, remembering that the incident made her even more dizzy. He moved, towards Yara's room.

The little girl looks so cute while sleeping, Zaira really likes to see her while falling asleep so. Removing a little weight in his heart.

"Great dream, baby. I love you, so much." whispered to Yara who was too deep.

Zaira headed to her room, and began cleaning up to immediately lay down who was very tired. Today it was completely exhausting his body. He hoped that falling asleep would refresh his body and mind..

"Mama, wake up.." Yara shook Zaira's body.

Zaira opened her eyes slightly, threaded Yara's hair, then curled up again. His eyes are still heavy.

"Mama, let's go to salapan.." take the little girl while gently patting Zaira's arm.

"Mommy isn't kelja?"

"No, hon. It's sunday. Ara play the same symbok first, later mama wake up and we go for a walk, okay?" The suggestion was that Yara would not disturb him from sleeping.

"Yee... Okay, Ma." Yara ran out of Zaira's room and hearing that, Zaira closed her eyes again, continuing her sleep.

Elsewhere, Brian, he was trying to open his eyes because the noise of his alarm was squealing in the ears.

He fumbled around the table next to his bed, but did not also get a small object that was still ringing fast.

Without opening his eyes, Brian continued to reach for objects around him until he fell out of bed.

"Aragh!" Stimulants. He lazily got up and extinguished the noise.

Brian climbed onto the bed and began to close his eyes again. But he realized when it turned out he was still wearing the suit he was wearing last night.

Brian got up even with his head still a little dizzy. He took off his suit and threw in with the origin, took off his socks and lay down again.

Brian's eyes glared suddenly as he recalled something. He got up and tried to remember him again last night.

He remembered seeing Zaira who was standing staring at the people in front of him who were dancing with their respective partners. Perhaps Zaira was also thinking about her past memories.

Brian approached her with a glass of wine in his hand.

He stood next to Zaira. Without the woman realizing Brian had been staring at her for so long, enjoying the face of his ex-wife whom he had not seen for so long.

Brian took a sip of wine in his hand, then a shameful sentence just came out of his mouth, he stared at the contents of the glass and said a longing word, although she realized Zaira immediately turned her head and was surprised that her ex-husband was beside her.

The woman did not flinch. He just looked at Brian who in his eyes was probably very pitiful.

The chatter came out of Brian's mouth as he looked at the couple who danced affectionately, making him long for the past with Zaira.

Brian looked at Zaira, since then the woman did not turn her eyes and continued to look at Brian, no matter what. But that made him miss Zaira even more.

Brian gently stroked Zaira's cheek which kept looking at him, making her want to kiss him, he missed all the things about Zaira.

Blood rippled in Brian's body, making him unconsciously bring his face closer to Zaira's face. Feeling the woman was not away, Brian increasingly wanted to touch his lips to the woman's lips, but alas, Zaira threw away her face, refusing a kiss from Brian.

"Aarghhhhh!!!" Brian grabbed his hair, he stood up like a frustrated man.

"Bodooohhh!!" He cried while pounding his head against the wall, trying to vanish to the surface of the earth because of the shame of absorbing all his pride. He seemed to have no courage to face Zaira, his behavior last night made him really want to die alone.

"How is this??" Brian took his phone, searched Zaira's number. His hand prepared to call and apologize, but he had no guts.

"Dam. This is his old number" he said when he realized Zaira had changed her phone number.

Brian threw his phone over the bed. He glanced at the wall clock, walked into the bathroom to prepare to meet Zaira and apologized in person, whatever the story was, he did not want his ex-wife to think it had a worsening temperament.
