The Grief of the Two Red Lines

The Grief of the Two Red Lines
The old Rinnada house

Revi was walking down the hospital hallway to Zaira's room. He wanted to make sure of his friend's condition because there was no news from him until worry enveloped Revi's heart.

Then his steps came to a halt as he saw a woman in a mocha shirt and a white skirt standing at the door of Zaira's room while folding her hands together on her chest. The woman looked at the door so fixed. His face was like a tiger about to pounce on its prey.

Reve saw it from afar. Watch the woman's movements. I don't know if there's a problem with what he is on the door of Zaira's room until he looks at her so badly. Judging from his behavior, it seems that he is not a patient who wants a consultation.

Revi squinted his eyes. It was like he recognized her.

Revi walked slowly towards him while paying attention to the woman's face again.

"Hi."

The woman's shoulders jerked up hearing a voice from her left. Then he looked at Revi who had surprised him.

"Oh, you're Nada, right? Doctor Winda's daughter?" Revi greeted him kindly. Although he saw a facial gore that was disturbed by his presence.

"Do you want to see Dr Zaira?" Ask Revi again.

Rinnada changed his expression. "really. But it seems he doesn't exist. Was he so sick he didn't get in in two days?" Asked the woman in a voice that was like mocking.

Revi looked slightly tilted his face. 'ill?' Inner Revi.

"Okay, I don't know either." Revi looked suspiciously at the woman. "Why would you say Zaira's doctor is very sick?"

"Just guessing". He answered and then smiled next to the smile on his face.

"Oh, yeah." Revi looked at the woman who was rolling her front hair with her finger. "Can we talk for a minute, Nada?" Pinta Revi smooth. He, for some reason, felt a little strange about the behavior of the girl before him.

Tone glanced at the watch on his right hand. "It could be, just 5 minutes". He said and walked to the waiting chair.

*****

Andre looks pensive thinking about what he got yesterday in his old city stay. He wraps his fingers on the table. Every now and then his eyes were closed in light of recent events that instantly made one change.

Yesterday in the morning, he came to Rinnada's house. Standing there long enough. After so many years of dark events befall his best friend in a house that was once luxurious and beautiful with the order of flowers in his yard.

But now, the house has changed the color of the wall paint. The flowers are no longer there. Just small trees and weeds underneath.

Andre rang the bell whose color had faded. Every now and then he peered to the sidelines of the towering gate.

A short-haired young woman opened a small window that was at the gate. After seeing Andre who was slightly lowered his head and smiled at him, he opened his fence hook.

"Excuse me, Miss". Sapa Andre is friendly.

"Yes. Looking for who, huh?" Asked the woman because she did not know the figure of the man in front of her.

"Ah, sorry. I'd like to ask. Is this really Miss Rinnada's residence?"

The woman thought for a moment. "No".

Wasn't he? Andre sighed softly. This house has been abandoned by the Rinnada family.

"But I seem to have heard that name before". The woman again.

"really?"

The woman looked left and right. He pointed at someone on the right.

"That's it, she's Tini's Mom. Ask him because he is an old man here. He must know. Come on, I'll take you." The woman then closed the fence. Walking towards Tini who was sitting playing with her cat.

"Yuna, Yuna. Good mornin. Tumben once early in the morning came out with a handsome man". Tini's temptation to Yuna is seen coming out with a man she's never seen before.

"Oh, here......" Yuna hung up her sentence, as she did not know the name of the man next to her.

"I'm Andre, Mom." He said because he had not been able to meet the woman earlier.

"Look, Mom. Andre's brother is looking for the address of Rinnada, who used to live in my house". Clearly Yuna was on Tini whose brows seemed to be furrowed.

"Rinnada?" Repeatedly again.

"Yes, Mom. Do you know her new address?" Ask Andre expectantly.

"I don't know. Because they keep a lot of secrets." He said while standing with his stick. "They moved away also did not give any news. Know that the house has changed owners."

Andre kneading. He didn't seem to get any info.

"All right, thank you, ma'am". Andre slightly bowed his body and prepared to leave.

"But, if you want to meet, maybe you can stop for a while to the next city" Tini then gave a little information.

"It looks like you need information. They moved out 8 years ago, if you ask now, it means you're a lot behind on information." Say Tini again.

He then took a breath. "Said, they moved to the next town. Not far from here. Rumors circulated, because one of his daughters had been depressed and then died, but there are also those who say suicide."

Andre rounded his eyes. He was shocked to hear the news from Tini.

A suicide? Wh who? Rinnadakah, or Dinnara?

"Do you know the name of the child who died?" Andre started to stiffen. His mind began to spread and guess who was currently with Brian.

Tini's mom raised her shoulder. "Eitherway. I don't know either. People kept guessing because her family was shutting down the information".

Andre gulped. Isn't this creepy? No one knows if Rinnada or Dinnara are dead.

"If you want to know, just look at the tomb." Tini. He saw the tensed look on Andre's face.

"Winda, the mother of the twins, is a perfectionist career woman. Almost like one of his children." Tini raised her eyeballs. He seemed to think.

"Ah, I don't know which one. Because they are so similar". He said half annoyed because he was unable to distinguish his neighbor's children first.

Andre knew Tini meant Rinnada.

"Haah, I remember one of the twins, who was most often caring for plants and friendly to the neighbors here. I hope he's the one still alive." Tini said with a smile on her face.

Tini's eyes then glared far away. "Winda wouldn't want any stains on her family. That's why he left here because no one wanted to know what had happened to their family. Because that night, one of her daughters screamed and roared like a dead man." Continue to Tini again. He remembered an event that had passed for a very long time.

"That news is also what I heard from people when I first moved in". Yuna continued to Andre.

Andre fell silent and only listened to what Tini had to say. Because he desperately needed information, but after hearing it, he was even more confused.

"Nobody knows for sure. The house was empty tomorrow. Winda really left without a trace." Tini shook her head as she recalled the event.

"Where's the tomb, ma'am?" Asked Andre who was already half-dead curious. He wanted to see whose name was on the grave.

"In the next town. The public funeral is quite large. I thought you'd find it hard". Say Tini again.
