Two weeks have passed since the meeting of Bara and Renata. As if lost to the earth, Renata never again bothers Bara with sending messages let alone a phone.

Bara leaned her body into her work chair. These past two days were somehow his mind was often troubled by Renata's shadow.

The problem of data breaching at Pratama hospital has been handled by the authorities because the perpetrators have been exposed. One of them is precisely Ardi's lover, the man who was once pursued by Renata.

Although it is not proven that Ardi was involved, but the man chose to resign because he felt bad. He regretted having been used by his lover by being made drunk.

Bara grabbed her vibrating phone on the table. Evan and Samuel are still busy discussing some of the projects being handled by MegaCyber.

His eyes narrowed when he saw Renata's name appear on his phone screen. It was as if some inner contact Renata contacted him. Hesitating to accept it, the call eventually disconnected itself. Replaced with one incoming message from the woman.

Renata: Bara, we can meet again in the near future. There's something I want to say, but that certainly won't bother or upset you 😊😊

Bara just read it without knowing what to reply with an answer like.

“Why else, Bro ?” sebastian's voice surprised him.

Thinking too much about Renata, Bara until not realizing that his best friend and boss is already in their room.

Bara only shows the phone screen and at a glance Sebastian reads Renata's name without seeing the details of the order sent by the woman.

“Why else ?” Samuel who had approached Bara's desk asked to see the face of his best friend who looked confused.

”Most problem Renata again,” ledek Evan who came closer.

Eventually they moved to the couch. This afternoon there was indeed a meeting schedule of the four men without Dion. Non-formal meeting, discussing some of Sebastian's work that will be transferred in part to his three best friends because Kirana is getting closer to giving birth.

Sebastian did not want to get away from his wife, until he asked the help of his three friends to handle the work of the project that was going on.

“If indeed elo feel Renata has started to change and the heart of elo is still in love, there is no harm in trying,” Samuel open his voice again.

“Better to fail after trying rather than regret for fear of failing, Bro,” timpal Evan. “Moreover like the story lo a week ago if you feel Renata changed a little.”

“She asked for more meeting time,” Bara said.

”Gue same Evan has never had experience about dating, different tuh same boss who has twice,” Samuel glanced towards Sebastian who has since focused with his phone. Today Kirana is being invited to go again with mommy Amelia.

Bara meghelah breath listening to the advice and opinions of his friends. It's true that Bara had to dare to try, somehow the end result.

His hand immediately typed in a message reply for Renata and promised to see the woman this afternoon as well.

“It's dong, Bro,” Evan gives his thumbs up laughing.

“Then, we finish this job as soon as possible,” Sebastian said as he placed his phone on the table.

The four immediately discussed some of the projects that are being handled by MegaCyber.

At 6 pm Bara arrived at the restaurant chosen by Renata to meet. A waiter leads Bara to a table that Renata ordered and it turns out that the woman was already sitting there.

“Hai Bara,” greet Renata with a voice that sounds more friendly and calm.

“Hmm...” Bara just answered briefly and sat in the chair opposite Renata.

Bara was amazed by the appearance of Renata this afternoon. Not because of the luxurious clothes that Renata was wearing, but the radiated aura looked different this afternoon. Renata's gaze and body language were far from arrogant and arrogant.

Both returned the finished menu book ordering.

“Thank you for meeting me this afternoon,” Renata said with a smile. A smile that turned out to be able to cause a thump in Bara's heart.

“Thank you also because MegaCyber was able to find the real culprit and I was cleared of suspicion. I believe that it is all thanks to your greatness,” Renata laughed softly while giving her thumbs up.

“Everything is the result of teamwork, not just myself,” Bara said with a little awkward.

Bara only smiled faintly in response to Renata's remark.

“Sorry,” Renata stopped her laughter. “I don't mean to make you remember my bad deeds that hurt you back in High School.”

“Everything has passed,” Bara said trying to be mediocre.

Seeing Renata laughing so loosely a few times, Bara's heart kept pounding.

“I will resign from Pratama hospital,” Renata said slowly making Bara frown.

“Why ? Haven't you proven to have done nothing wrong but go crazy about Ardi ?”

Renata smiled bitterly and raised her face looking at Bara with a gaze that was difficult for Bara to interpret.

“I want to be away from mama. Living by his rules and ambitions made me regret many things in life, including my feelings for you, Bar.”

Bara's heart is pounding but he still controls his emotions to keep acting ordinary.

“I've liked you, Bara,” Renata continued with a thin smile. “But I was afraid my life was difficult because at that time you yourself could go to school at our place because of your om. I already knew that mama would definitely challenge me all out. But I was so disappointed because it turned out that when I tried to bury my feelings for you and refocus on chasing Sebastian, my mom asked me to release Sebastian for my own sister.”

Renata paused his words and returned with a bitter smile. Those bitter memories flashed back in his mind. That's why Renata escaped and met Sebastian in America. Not a way out that he got, but instead re-blame because the incident made Om Richard angry and had messed up his papa business.

Bara was still silent until their order was delivered by the waiter. The two began to eat and enjoy the dishes.

“Still not liking to chickpeas ?” bara asked as Renata separated the chickpeas that were on her steak plate.

“If for this one it seems difficult to get rid of. Only your stir-fry sauteed dishes can I enjoy,” said Renata while laughing.

Renata's heart was pounding. It turned out that the man in front of him still remembered his anti-meal habits let alone just boiled like the one on his plate.

But once, Renata was tempted by sauteed egg chickpeas carried by Bara in his lunch box. Too much to enjoy, until Renata finally finished Bara's stock and exchanged it for a plate of batagor for the man.

“Do you still like to cook at your home, Bar ?”

“Only once in a while if it's right there. I was boarding near college.”

“Think of you good, Bar. Even though it is simple but always evocative of my appetite, especially when it comes to vegetables, you know for yourself how difficult it is to swallow vegetable dishes.”

Bara just smiled, it turns out Renata never forgot the Bara cuisine brought to school.''

Both are involved with the stories of the old school days. Although Bara responds only once in a while with a short answer, Renata keeps chattering about the funny and fun things they've been through together.

Two hours passed and Renata had to go back to the hospital to help with impromptu labor.

“Hopefully when we meet again later, I don't know when, you can heal your heart wound that I incised first.”

Renata reached out her hand as the two of them were already standing near their respective cars that turned out to be next to each other.

Bara just kept quiet, not responding to Renata's helping hand made the woman a little awkward.

Renata pulled back his hand and smiled clumsyly in the face of Bara's flat-faced demeanor and just looked at her.

“I go first, Bara. Thanks again for being ready to see me. Hopefully we can still meet before I leave,” Renata smiled and waved her hand as she slowly moved away towards the driver's car door.

Bara held Renata's arm and pulled the woman down into her arms.

“Do not run again,” said Bara slowly but still heard by Renata who was in the arms of Bara.

The heart pounding of the two accelerated and Renata herself was shocked by Bara's treatment.

“Do not run and learn to be responsible,” Bara said back.

“Responsored ?” Renata let go of Bara's embrace slowly and looked at the man with brow.

”Responsible let alone ?” asked Renata with a confused face.

“Responsible to heal the wounds of my heart. Do not try to run again and let me close the wound only the outside only, but the inside remains wet and often feels painful.”

“How can I help you remove that wound?” asked Renata with a soft tone and a lowered face.

“Stay beside me for the rest of your life.” Bara lifted Renata's chin and found her eyes twitching, as if not believing Bara's words.

“Be a part of my life and make me better every day. Does that feel like there's still left for me ?”

“Just like the wound of your heart, that sense can never really be removed from within my heart,” replied Renata timidly and blushed face.

“Then do not avoid. As long as you are ready to live hard and happy with me, slowly we can make the wound and love are united.”

Renata was still downcast in shame, but there was a sense of happiness that he was unable to express with words.

“What is the problem of your parents' blessing will be a barrier again ?” ask Bara.

“No !” sahut Renata quickly with full confidence. Even he stared at Bara with a look full of confidence.

“My age is almost 30, it is no longer the time for you to rule my life. Not intended to be an ungodly child, I just follow a conscience that I can confidently prove the end result.”

Just as Bara was about to speak again, the ringing of Renata's phone rang again. A call from the hospital appeared on his screen.

“Can we talk again another time ? I can't possibly have the patient hold the birth,” Renata said with a chuckle.

“Go !” Bara nodded his head.

Renata nodded and turned around, but was reminded of something Renata came back to face Bara and tiptoed towards the man's face.

Renata gives a brief kiss on Bara's lips.

“I love you,” said Renata in a quiet voice but could be heard by Bara.

Without waiting for Bara's answer, Renata runs small to his car. His face was hot and flushed withstanding the embarrassment of his desperate actions just now.

Bara holds Renata's car out of line, and asks Renata to open the glass.

Bara leaned over and grabbed Renata's nape and gave her a kiss on the woman's lips. Not just a short kiss that makes Renata's body immediately hot cold.

“I love you too,” said Bara after releasing her kiss. “Right work and concentration. I'll wait for news from you,”

Renata who was still surprised by Bara's treatment could only nod, making Bara laugh slowly at him.

“Go now, don't let your patients give birth without a doctor.”

Again Renata could only nod and continue to take his car to the hospital.

The two of them immediately held their lips together and smiled happily. May this time all the obstacles that stand in the way be easier to face because their hearts have been united.
