Chapter 46 The Kendra Accident

Kirana is still sitting in the busway that will take her to the Mall. He had no intention of going home in his current state.

It's been five days, like Sebastian's count, that Kirana got her family involved in the photo. So it was time Kirana had to return home in good condition, so as not to add worry, especially papa and mama.

Kirana rushes down at the next stop and cancels to the mall. But given the many scams in Jakarta on behalf of the accident, Kirana tried to find out the phone number of Pratama Hospital, where Kendra was taken.

Kirana confirmed that there was indeed an ER patient named Kendra Gunawan as a victim of a traffic accident. And after everything was clear, Kirana chose to take a taxi there.

Arriving at the ER room, Kirana was hesitant to step in. His heart was anxious, imagining the terrible circumstances that befell Kendra. In the midst of his frost, a man in a police uniform approaches him.

“Mas Kendra has been treated and it looks like it's just an external wound. The doctor cannot take any further action without the patient's family. But it looks like Mas Kendra knows one of the doctors here who immediately gives a guarantee.”

“Let's come with me, Mom. There are news of the event to sign.”

The policeman escapes Kirana into the ER and takes her to where Kendra is lying.

Kendra is in a half-sitting position on the patient's bed with an infusion hose in her hand.

“Kak Kirana,” call Kendra in a slow voice.

“You okay Ken ?” Kirana clasped her sister's fingers with a feeling of anxiety. Kendra shakes.

“The accident happened because there was a car that violated the red light, Mom,” obviously the police who are still standing nearby.

“The driver has been withheld and promised to pay all the medical and repair costs of Mas Kendra motor.”

“Thank you, Sir.”

Kendra explained that she met Steven when she was first taken to the ER room. His little brother's best friend was in the ER room. Steven also advised the doctor who served in the ER to take all necessary actions on his bail.

After undergoing an examination, the wound on Kendra's body is not severe especially to experience fractures or cracks. Simply do an X-ray without the need for an MRI or CT scan.

The police took Kirana out of the room and asked her to sign the news of Kendra's handover ceremony, which was successfully secured by the police, including her sister's laptop. “I will send a message with doctor Egi. If Kendra wakes up and the info runs out, let my friend call. There are no injuries to worry about, so Kendra can go straight home.”

Kirana just nodded with a smile and followed Steven to the nurse station to see Doctor Egi, an acquaintance of Steven, who was there.

“His girlfriend, Doc ?” Tempted one of the nurses.

Steven simply smiled without answering while Kirana turned her head in the other direction.

The two left the ER room, heading to the cafe near the main entrance of the hospital.

Finished ordering drinks at the cashier, the two waited for orders at a table located near the glass and a little far from the entrance of the cafe.

“Thank you, Steve, for helping out with Kendra's checkup,” Kirana opened the conversation when they were already sitting face to face.

“You want to say thank you how many times to me ?” Steven laughs.

Steven was slightly pinched with Kirana's attitude which looked stiff and formal to him. There is a longing for their closeness while still in the same school. Kirana's chatter about many things has always been an entertainment in itself for Steven.

“Nana,” Steven tried to reach for Kirana's fingers on the table. Kirana lifts him up before Steven touches her.

“Sorry,” shouts Steven at sight of Kirana's reaction. “Is your relationship really serious with Sebastian ?”

“What is not enough more than three times I told you, I even told you that Sebastian.”

Kirana fell silent and let the waiter present their order. Americano Chilled for Steven and Strawberry smoothies for Kirana.

“No relationship goes smoothly, Steve. Precisely in that problem, couples will know each other and understand.”

Kirana enjoys her smoothies while cursing herself in the heart.

How could he speak so wisely while his heart condition was not fine because of a photo sent by a coward who immediately deactivated his number.

“It's not easy being Sebastian's life partner, Na. Shera told me a lot.”

Hearing the name of Sebastian's ex-wife, Kirana just smiled faintly.

“Sebastian has always been the target of many women who see him as an established, handsome and charismatic man. Even they were willing to just be one-night friends for Sebastian. For a normal man, it would not be easy to continuously resist such temptations. Are you able to banish all the women who tried to annoy Sebastian ?”

Kirana looked at Steven with her eyebrows linked. There was a sinister smile on Kirana's lips.

“Is that what Shera felt during her relationship with Sebastian until she finally decided to have an affair until becoming pregnant from another man ?”

“I don't want to know Shera's feeling problem, Na. But for sure I do not want you who are in such a situation.”

“So in other words you want to say that you are a better man than Sebastian ?”

Steven took a long breath. Wanting to answer yes, later he would be seen as an arrogant man in Kirana's eyes. Want to answer no, it means that he is the same as the picture of Sebastian that he said just now.

“Don't worry about me overdoing it, Steve. I realized that I had little experience with relationships with men. But I will learn to make it all a worthwhile experience in my life. Even if I have to experience disappointment, heartache or even heartbreak.” Kirana smiled and tried to act ordinary.

“Sorry to trouble you, Bee. Kendra is fine and can go straight home. Good thing it met Steven earlier, so the doctor can immediately take action without waiting for my arrival.”

Sebastian who actually does not know the problem of Kirana's existence in this hospital because Kendra accident was confused. But his mind immediately caught the drama that Kirana was playing.

“I only use you to get away from Doctor Steven, Mr. Sebastian,” Kirana said in a sharp tone

“It is my pleasure to take advantage of Miss Kirana,” Sebastian said casually and took Kirana to the ER room.

“Do not fish in murky water, Mr. Bas,” whispered Kirana.

“If you want to play drama do not take responsibility, Honey. Did you forget that Steven was the son of the owner of this hospital ? It could be after this he went straight to the CCTV room to make sure that your actions to me are not drama.”

Sebastian looked over while sneering cunningly. Kissed Kirana's left cheek with affection.

“Let's convince Steven more, if Sebastian's love for Kirana is more than just drama,” whispered softly in Kirana's ear, making her nape shudder.

Kirana melengos while cursing her who chose to call Sebastian to avoid talking about the heart with Steven. He accidentally sees Sebastian's shadow while still sitting in the cafe. His position facing the entrance had seen Sebastian who was standing still like he was waving.

Now Kirana feels trapped in her own game. This widower is even addicted to being an impromptu drama performer made by Kirana.
