Approving Steven's Request

At Sebastian's request to complete his plan, Kirana sends Steven a message to invite him to meet. Sebastian has made sure that his confidants will always be near Kirana and guard her from Steven, so that his future wife does not need to feel anxious because she feels alone.

As Sebastian expected, it was not until 30 minutes, Steven immediately replied to the message Kirana sent and accepted her invitation to meet. Initially Steven forced Kirana to meet him in the hospital on the grounds that the schedule of practice and his options were quite solid in the next two days, but because Kirana only gave the choice to meet at a place that he had decided or not at all, Steven finally relented.

Kirana arrived first at one of the cafes that she deliberately chose not far from the hospital. His heart remained uneasy, despite knowing that Sebastian had put some people to watch over him.

Twenty minutes later, Steven was seen entering the cafe and soon his eyes immediately caught the figure of Kirana who was sitting in a position facing the cafe door.

“Sorry I'm late, Nana,” Steven said as he pulled the bench across from Kirana.

“I haven't been here long either. Just relax,” Kirana said with a smile. His hand waved calling one of the maids to order food and drinks.

The atmosphere of the cafe is not too crowded because it is still at 9 am. Kirana accidentally asks for morning on the grounds that she has to work after lunch.

“I heard you were dismissed from MegaCyber by Sebastian ?” Steven after both ordered and the waiter had already passed.

“Ya and now I am back to work as a waitress at the cafe where I worked before,” said Kirana with a face that turned sad.

“Does Sebastian not want to give you a living before marriage until you have to work as a waitress ? Let how you are the future wife of one of the Pratama family.”

Kirana just smiled wryly and glanced at Steven.

“I'm not even sure Sebastian will continue our wedding plans. Sebastian has already asked Dion to delay the invitation printout and cancel the party venue order.”

“It turns out Sebastian so easily wavers his heart. Doesn't that prove that he doesn't really love you ?” steven said with a grouchy face and emotion.

“And you are satisfied to have made Sebastian's heart waver?” kirana asked with a faint smile. “Isn't this really your final destination by sending Sebastian photos and recordings ? Are you satisfied because your wish is reached Steve ?”  asked Kirana in a slightly cynical tone.

Steven laughed and leaned his body against the chair. Kirana stared at him with a annoying smile and her hands folded in front of her chest.

“I only gave Sebastian a lure to help measure his love for you, Nana. It turns out Sebastian's heart is too shallow to love you, his heart is filled more by Shera. Moreover, being able to return close to Shera in business,” continued Steven with a smile that looks sneaky in Kirana's eyes.

What Sebastian thought was right. Shera and Steven worked together to do this. It was evident that the two had unknowingly provided the information they had gotten to each other.

Kirana never told about Sebastian's departure with Shera to America, only mentioning Aleandro's name when telling Steven. Likewise with Shera who is so proud to say that Kirana is secretly double with Steven, even though Sebastian and Dion did not say anything about the photo sent Steven who became the source of Sebastian's anger.

“So all that you did to help me, Steve ? It doesn't make me look bad in Sebastian's eyes until he can just cancel our wedding?” asked Kirana with a sad face.

Kirana tries to refrain from brushing Steven's hand when touching his fingers. Not because Kirana was so pretentious that she didn't want to be touched by Steven, but considering how the man in front of her was pretending to destroy his relationship with Sebastian, it felt like Kirana wanted to stand up and slap him.

“I've said many times, Nana,” Steven shifted his stool to get closer to Kirana. “I loved you so much long ago, now and in the future. And I am the only one who will always love you with all my heart. Leave Sebastain and come back to me, I will always make you happy.”

Kirana slightly shuddered as Steven's hand stroked her fingers and grasped them tightly. The coldness that spread in his palm was precisely interpreted by Steven as an expression of Kirana's nervousness because it was close to him.

Kirana was silent for a while until finally the waiter delivered her second order. Kirana pulls her fingers from Steven's grasp and picks up a drink glass filled with her order's hot chocolate. His body slightly retreated but not to lean on the bench.

Steven picked up his hot coffee latte cup and blew on it slowly before sipping it. The atmosphere was silent for a while.

Kirana glanced as Steven took the phone from his shirt pocket and placed it on the table in a face down. He believes that Steven is re-enabling the voice recorder button at this time.

“I will consider your request if you will also comply with my request,” Kirana said still holding her hot chocolate glass.

Kirana accidentally doesn't put the glass back, so Steven doesn't take the opportunity to hold the fingers.

“So our relationship will start with an agreement ?” asked Kirana with a faint smile. “What kind of love relationship requires a black above white agreement?”

“Didn't binding a relationship require legal confirmation ?” steven laughed softly.

“Even a marriage requires an official institution to certify it. It is not enough just to say in front of religious leaders or customs. Hmmm. Marriage in front of religious leaders even requires couples to put a signature on the document so that their marriage is considered valid, not ?”

“So what kind of agreement will you offer me, Steve ? Didn't you ever say that if Raven proved your son, you would only admit it legally, but would still make me your wife ?” asked Kirana with a cynical smile.

“You're still as good as you used to be, Nana. With or without a DNA test I will still make you the only woman in my life. Only the difference with doing a DNA test, I can already grant your request and answer your curiosity,” Steven replied with a laugh.

Kirana sighed. Steven is a very scary guy. He was grateful that his heart knew where to dock.

There is no guarantee that Steven's excessive love will make him happy, maybe even make Kirana miserable because living in an obsession with established men like Steven who have the opportunity to do everything.

“No written agreement needed, Steve,” Kirana said after a few moments of silence.

“I know that you are re-recording our current conversation, just like you did when we ate at the hotel at that time. It is even possible that you also recorded in the form of a video with a camera condition that I myself do not know of its existence,” Kirana said while laughing cynically and shaking her head.

“The laws of this country already recognize the sophistication of technology. Not only paper sheets containing writing can be used as evidence, but voice recordings and even text messages on mobile phones are recognized as evidence that has legal force. So keep the recording well if one day you need it,” Kirana said as she looked at Steven with a look of disgust.

Everything inside the young doctor no longer attracted Kirana's sympathy and made her want to maintain their friendship.

One thing that could not be avoided by him regarding Steven's relationship with Sebastian who both stood as the heirs of the Pratama family.

“Alright if that is your will, Nana,” said Steven while leaning his body on the chair and linking his two supported hands to the handle of the chair.

“But I object to your requirements about with or without that DNA test, I have no other choice and should be your wife. I really, really object to that point. If Raven proves to be your flesh and blood, stay out of my life, Steve. Whether I stay with Sebastian or not, I don't want to have any relationship with you, even I wish I never knew you.”

Instead of being saddened by Kirana's words, Steven laughed.

“If you keep pushing yourself to be Sebastian's wife, how can you keep me away from your life ? Besides, why can't you still accept the fact that Sebastian has started to forgive Shera and give his ex-wife a chance to correct her mistake ?”

“How are you so sure that Sebastian opened his heart back to Shera ?”

“You sure you want to see the proof ?” steven asked with a mocking laugh. “Is your heart strong when you see the evidence I can show you ? Haven't you met them in person not long ago ? They are trying to start dating together and discuss plans to return again.”

Kirana's heart trembled slightly. What evidence does Steven have about the relationship between Shera and Sebastian ? Were the photos or conversations they had during both of their joint assignments in America ? Aleandro and Dion promise to look after Sebastian for him.

Kirana fell silent while squeezing her two fingers in agitation. Steven smiled cunningly when he saw Kirana's unease. Though he had no photos of Shera and Sebastian, it was so easy to stir up a sense of uneasiness in Kirana's heart.

Kirana looked at Steven's face with sadness. The man had already changed his expression with a look of sympathy at Kirana's anxiety. He grabbed the fingers of the girl who was still leaning into his grasp while turning his position to face Kirana.

“I'll always be there for you, Nana. Don't let your disappointment in Sebastian keep your heart closed to another love.”

Kirana's reflexes dodged as one of Steven's hands was about to rub his cheek. For this one, Kirana really can't pretend that it doesn't matter. Her disgust is stronger than her intention to help Sebastian find proof.

Kirana sighed. The more emotional Steven is, the more open little by little his relationship with Shera is truly evil.

The proof is that Steven knew that Kirana met Sebastian and Shera at the cafe two days ago. Though Kirana did not tell him that she met Shera and Sebastian, but the man said that Kirana met her future husband who was dating his ex-wife.

Kirana lowered her head as if filled with uneasiness. Unseen, he smiled faintly at the lure regarding Steven. Thought of a recording device under the table that has been installed by Sebastian's men.

This time both Sebastian and Kirana no longer want to miss the question of the conversation with Steven that has been twisted. Because both Kirana and Sebastian are convinced, it is not impossible that today's conversation will be re-arranged by Steven to the extent that Kirana approves all of Steven's decisions.
