Chapter 35 Call of Duty

Kirana had just finished a family dinner when her doorbell rang.

Papa Heru gestured for Kendra to open the door. Kirana who has a hunch that Sebastian who came this night directly checked her phone.

Kirana smiled as she looked at some missed phone calls and messages. Without waiting for Kendra's call, Kirana rushed out. His parents just stared at each other and shook their heads.

Kirana who was in a hurry immediately collided with Kendra who was just about to enter the house calling Kirana.

The girl rubbed her forehead and Kendra rubbed her colliding chest. Sebastian who stood behind Kendra was surprised but then he laughed.

“Ammun deh, sis, that head is made of bone arrangement or mild steel, anyway ?” Omel Kendra rubbed his chest.

Kirana herself was still grimacing her forehead.

“Not a mild steel, you think I'm a Black Steel Knight ? You yourself bones of your chest are very hard. Look at this, make my head so dizzy.”

Kirana glared at Kendra who was even sticking out her tongue. Sebastian passed Kendra and approached Kirana and touched the girl's reddened forehead.

“Awas you, Ken,” threatened Kirana to hit her sister's shoulder. Kendra dodged and rushed in while sticking Kirana's soft tongue out again.

“Udah Honey,” Sebastian pulls Kirana's body into his arms. “Here I treat his forehead.” Sebastian immediately kissed Kirana's forehead long enough to make the girl's face until it was hot.

“Kangen,” Sebastian whispered as he tightened his embrace.

“Ehem.... ahem..” deheman papa Heru makes the two instantly release a hug. Kirana immediately sat down blushing in embarrassment while Sebastian scratched his non-itchy nape.

“Night, Om,” Sebastian says hello while nodding his head.

“Night Mr. Bastian. How are you ?”

“Call me Bastian, Om,” Sebastian said in a condolent tone. “And my status would-be son-in-law, Om, not tops.” Sebastian chuckles.

“Bee,” squeal Kirana while hitting Sebastian's shoulder.

“Sick Honey,” Sebastian grimaces while rubbing his shoulder.

“Partially by the way do not look around the place. Since when do you apply to be a prospective daughter-in-law - papa and mama ?” Kirana's lips pursed.

If only there was no Papa Heru there, it felt like pinching Kirana's cheek and giving her a kiss all over her face because of anxiety.

The man chose a restaurant not far from Kirana's house, because in addition to having enough nights, his body began to feel tired due to the tight schedule today.

After ordering food and drinks, Sebastian leaned his body against the back of the chair while stretching his muscles.

“Kirana,” call Sebastian with a serious face. “I have to leave you a few days or maybe a few weeks to take care of the project in Kalimantan.”

Kirana was startled for a while but then she was normal again.

“Lift with Bara, Evan and Samuel also ?”

“Iya,” Sebastian nodded. “And it looks like Dion too. I need him to take care of the details.”

“When to go, Bee ?”

“Most likely the day after, Honey. The client asked for it tomorrow but it is not possible also because there are some office problems that I need to leave first on daddy.”

Their orders were also among the servants. Kirana only ordered drinks because her stomach was still full after dinner at home.

Sebastian immediately takes Kirana home after their food runs out and pays a bon. Along the way, Sebastian is more silent and focused on the road.

Several times Kirana looked at him with both eyebrows looking at him, but it seemed that Sebastian's mind was not fully fused with his body.

Not long ago Sebastian's car stopped in front of Kirana's house.

“Tomorrow you came as usual, right ?” sebastian asks when he sees Kirana still sitting in the car.

The seatbelt had been removed, and the seat was tilted facing Sebastian.

Instead of answering Sebastian's question, Kirana said something else. Sebastian laughed and ruffled Kirana's hair.

“I'm fine, Honey. What is weird ?” Sebastian asked in his laughter.

Kirana grunted in annoyance. He immediately turned his body back and prepared to open the door.

“I'm afraid of Kirana,” Sebastian is making Kirana stop out of the car. He turned his body back to Sebastian.

“Bee, you are only a two-week task, it is still in Indonesia. Don't worry too much.”

Sebastian only took a deep breath, both his hands cupped to the steering wheel.

“If you have started a big project like this, I will often go back and forth out of town even abroad. The time to meet you will be shorter. Back when I was dating Shera at the beginning I helped daddy, I did the same thing. Slowly replacing daddy's duties and busy out of town, out of the country, meeting this and that. It was because of that busyness that I felt like I had let down until Shera was able to get pregnant with another man. Though I always keep myself even if I have to drink alcohol when meeting clients or investors. I always bring Dion to warn me. And now, when the task calls back, I feel like de javu.”

Kirana immediately hugged Sebastian from the side.

The man turned his head and twisted his body to face Kirana and returned his embrace.

“Let time treat your anxiety and fears, Bee. I will not catapult you with any kind of friendly words or promises. To be sure, I will always be in the same place, waiting for you and always ready whenever you need me.”

Sebastian tightened his arms and kissed Kirana's head.

“Thank you, Kirana. Thank you for making me feel love again. Keep walking beside me even though once in a while my heart hesitates for losing confidence.”

Kirana just nodded her head in Sebastian's arms.
