Chapter 71 Steven's Decision

Two days passed since the conversation with Steven about the DNA test request submitted by Kirana, but the man still did not give any news or answers to her.

Sebastian has sent Kirana a message but has not contacted her. Messages on her phone were also received at 3am Indonesian time, so Kirana could not immediately reply. It was only reported that Sebastian was okay.

Finishing lunch with Echi and Marsha, Kirana returned to her room.  Today daddy Richard did not come to the office because there was a need with mommy Amelia. Just sitting behind his desk, a phone call came in from Kirana's phone. Hoping for Sebastian's name to be seen, but it turns out Steven's name is written.

“What's Steve ?’ kirana asked when they were connected

“Can come to hospital today ? Today my schedule is a bit full because there was suddenly a cesarean section schedule and asked me to be his son's doctor. I want to answer the DNA test problem.”

“I can only come after office hours, Steve.”

“No problem, I have practice until 6pm. The pass so.”

“Okey Steve, I'll be there.”

After ending her conversation with Steven, Kirana sends Sebastian a message, informing him that she is going to the hospital today to meet Steven to discuss Raven's problem. Despite only ticking one, Kirana is convinced that Sebastian will read it once the message is sent.

At five o'clock Kirana left her study after leaving Echi and Marsha. He also said that his destination this afternoon was the Pratama family hospital. At first he wanted to take a taxi or public transportation there, but in order to avoid misunderstanding with Sebastian, Kirana finally asked Mr. Tomo who drove him there.

After 45 minutes of travel, Kirana arrived at the hospital lobby. Kirana asks Mr. Tomo to go home and make sure that Steven will take her home, even though he himself is not sure.

Not yet Kirana finished telling Steven about her arrival, the man had already approached her near the pharmaceutical section. In appearance, this young doctor was indeed as cool as Sebastian. But unfortunately, Kirana's heart is already enamored with Sebastian despite their age adrift even further.

“You accompany me to eat, Nana ?” asked Steven who was approaching, still complete with snellinya.

“I'll just come along, which is important the place is comfortable for us to talk. Is your practice schedule finished?” Kirana said with a smile.

Steven nodded as he stepped towards the lobby. It turned out that his car had also been prepared near the lobby. Seen a man in his thirties handing Steven the car keys, Steven,

“Let people know you're going the same way doctor,” says with a laugh.

It turned out that once he got to the side of the car, Steven took off his snell and hung with a hanger that was indeed behind his car.

“Looks like I still look cool even without snelli,” jokes Steven while laughing and opening the door for Kirana.

“If you are aware that you are cool, why still close yourself from the beautiful women who approach you ?” ledek Kirana while getting in the car.

During the trip, the two talked a lot about the memories of their school days. Kirana also recounts that she had reunited with Aleandro. Steven was happy to hear it because he himself had broken contact with the students who had once cried it.

There's no word on Shera or Sebastian.

 This time Steven took Kirana to one of the hotels he had visited with Sebastian when he was just working as a replacement secretary for Mba Widya.

It seemed that everyone knew and respected Steven so much, making Kirana frown.

“Don't tell me that this hotel is one of the Pratama family's?” kirana asked as they were already sitting at one of the tables in the hotel restaurant.

“Unfortunately Sebastian never told you ?” asked Steven while chuckling.

“Never and I have never found out about assets owned by Sebastian or daddy Richard,” replied Kirana casually.

“Looks like you're not a materialistic woman,” led Steven.

“And it seems you do not know me well, Doctor Steven,” said Kirana while sneering. Steven just laughed.

After ordering the food, Kirana briefly circulated her gaze around the restaurant. When he first came, he did not have the opportunity to look around because he was focused on his work.

“New first to here ?”

“Both times,” says Kirana while shaking her head. “First time with Sebastian for meeting with client. At that time I had just worked in place of Ms. Widya and the first experience also accompanied Sebastian meeting outside.”

“And I guarantee that this time will be special,” Steven said with a smile.

Kirana was astonished to see the food ordered by Steven not because of its luxury but the portion that is enough to make the stomach immediately full.

“I order your favorite seafood menu,”, Steven said when he saw Kirana was still fascinated by the dish in front of him. “Don't forget your favorite crab. I've asked the hotel chef to prepare it so that you don't have trouble eating it.”

Steven got up from his chair and picked up a plastic apron brought by a waiter.

“I can myself, Steve, “ Kirana tried to take the apron held by Steven, but the man shook his head and still forced to put it on Kirana.

Finished dressing Kirana, Steven also wore it himself.

“Let's eat,” Kirana said with a sparkling face because her favorite menu was prepared.

Steven himself paid more attention to Kirana than to enjoy the food he had ordered. He misses the time he spent with Kirana and Aleandro when Kirana had just received her Junior High School graduation and just before he left for Jogja to continue his studies.

There is no discussion of Sebastian and Shera, both of whom are still nostalgic about their time in school. How many of Steven's friends ridicule Kirana as Sebastian's bodyguard.

It feels like Steven is getting harder and harder to let go of Kirana. Steven realizes that he has used the wrong way to get close to Kirana when they are reunited. Steven who was unable to resist his longing forced himself too much on Kirana to make the girl even move away from him.

Kirana leaned her body onto the back of the chair. His face looked satisfied even he rubbed his full stomach.

“I wash my hands first, Steve,” Kirana gets up, and walks to toliet.

Not long after he had returned without using the apron again.

“You want me to order ice cream ?” steven asked as he folded his hands on the table.

“It's too full Steve, my stomach will not be able to,” said Kirana.

Steven just nodded with his gaze still seeing all the unconscious movements of Kirana being noticed since earlier.

“So how did you decide, Steve ?”  ask Kirana who did not forget her original purpose.

Steven sighed and leaned his body against the back of the chair.

“Can't we discuss it tomorrow or tomorrow again ? I don't want to ruin the mood today. I'm so happy, Nana. Last we ate like this. “.

“Quite nostalgic of her Steve,” Kirana raised her palm. “I'm waiting for your answer now.”

Steven fell silent and took a deep breath. His hand grabbed the glass of water and gulped it down a little.

“I'll do a DNA test with Raven,” he said slowly while staring at Kirana. The girl's face immediately sparkled and her lips developed a smile.

“But everything remains conditional,” continued Steven again with eyebrows raised next door. “And I want you to make a written agreement before I do.”

“A written agreement ?” Kirana frowned. “What agreement, Steve ?”

“If the results of the DNA test can prove that Raven is not my son, then you will leave Sebastian and marry me,” he said firmly with sharp eyes looking at Kirana.

“Then what if it is proven that Raven is your biological child ?” kirana asked with anxious feelings.

“I will legalize it, but will not marry Shera. Because the only woman I'm going to marry is Kirana Gunawan.”

Steven's sharpening gaze made Kirana shudder. Looks like he'll choose to let Raven not know his biological father.

“If it is like that with or without a DNA test, you will still force me to leave Sebastian and choose you, Steve ?”

“Smart child,” Steven pressed his body against the table and moved his face closer to Kirana. A sly grin was seen on his lips.

“If I can't use a good way to get to you, then I don't mind using a rude way. If necessary, I will make you like Shera, pregnant before marriage. The difference is that Shera does not want the man to take responsibility, while I will force you to accept my responsibility.”

“You are crazy Steve!” cry Kirana with a stifled voice. “You are really sick,” Kirana got up from her seat and took a deep breath.

“I don't care anymore about that DNA test problem. Whatever how you want. At first I just wanted you to take responsibility for what you did if Raven proved to be your son. But if my relationship with Sebastian was at stake, I wouldn't do it, Steve. And don't try to threaten me !”

Kirana rushed out of the restaurant towards the lobby. Steven got up and followed Kirana. His hand held Kirana before reaching the lobby.

“Let me Steve !” hiss Kirana.

“This time you will I release, Nana,” whispered Steven so close to his ear, making Kirana even more shudder. “But no other time, “ he continued while distancing his face.

Kirana turned her head but she immediately distanced her face because it turned out that Steven's face was still quite close. Fortunately, no part of their faces touched.

Kirana again saw a sneaky grin on Steven's lips. He immediately shook Steven's hand which was holding his arm. And this time Steven let Kirana out of the lobby and hailed the taxi that was there.
