Chapter 41 Meeting Shera

It's been two days since yesterday, Sebastian came to the office without doing any important work.

As a form of support as a parent, Mr. Richard who heard about Kirana's problems, chose to still come to the office. Sebastian's daily work remains in his hands, just as when his son went to Kalimantan. Lady Amelia also had a moment of anxiety when she heard news about Kirana who was not yet known whereabouts. But her husband assured that the girl who was carried as their future daughter-in-law must be in good condition.

Not to mention Kirana getting a bright spot, Dion enters Sebastian's room and conveys Shera's arrival at the office.

“You what else is he here for?” Sebastian asked in a sharp tone.

“Nona Shera is a legal advisory team from the company Mr. Alexander.”

“Shit !” Bait Sebastian while hitting his fist on the table.

It is impossible to deny the arrival of Shera as a legal advisory team of her clients for the project in Kalimantan. In this case Mr. Richard cannot represent Sebastian because the project is fully held and is the responsibility of Sebastian.

“How many people ?” Sebastian looked at Dion who was still standing in front of him.

“Only Miss Shera, the other team members have met with the legal division of MegaCyber. Looks like Miss Shera wants to meet for personal reasons with Mr. Bas.”

“I'll meet him and you stay here, sit on the sofa and don't come out even if Shera drives you away.”

“Good, Sir.” Dion turned around to let Shera in. The woman was already sitting sweetly on the front sofa.

“Dion !” Call Sebastian. His assistant who was about to open the door turned around when he heard his name being called.

“Don't call Shera Miss, ticklish I heard it. She's not a lady anymore. Call according to conditions.”

Dion nodded and smiled faintly as he turned his back to Sebastian.

Not long after the door opened. Sebastian did not glance let alone turn his head because he already knew who was coming.

“How are you doing Bus ?” Shera's standing by Sebastian's desk.

“Sit.” An answer that didn't match Shera's question came out of Sebastian's mouth.

His buttressed hand on the handle of his chair clenched in front of Sebastian's mouth. Shera looked at him with a flat face.

Shera glanced at Dion who was sitting on the sofa. A cynical and mocking smile was instantly seen on Shera's face.

“Did meeting me be so scary to you, Bas ? To the extent that your loyal assistant has to sit down and listen to our conversation?” Shera looked at Sebastian with a mocking smile.

“Or are you afraid that your feelings of love rekindle after dealing with me ?” Shera's flirtatious eyes made Sebastian grieve.

“You want what you came here for ? Isn't the legal business already handled by our legal division?”

Sebastian's sharp gaze now looked at the face of Shera who was still occasionally smiling cynically.

“Can't an EX-WIFE meet an EX-HUSBAND - her.” Shera laughed after uttering a pressure-filled tone at the former word in her sentence.

“Dare to claim to be my ex-wife even if not more than 24 hours ?” Sebastian's tone was no less cynical in response to Shera's remarks.

“You are less than 24 hours, 24 days or 24 years though, the scattered invitations make people still give us the status as husband and wife, although eventually become ex after divorce papers.”

“Not divorce papers, but cancellation !” Strict Sebastian.

Shera laughed in a mocking tone. The man who was once her lover has not changed much. Easily provoked emotions only with words that disturb his ego.

“I heard that you already have a new wife candidate now ? Still young. Is the woman you introduced at mommy's birthday party really your future wife ?”

“Not your business ! And don't call mommy Amelia mommy again!”

Shera was stunned when she heard Sebastian's speech like a child sulking because his toy was taken.

“OK, okay ex-husband. Means Mrs Amelia ex-in-law yes,” Shera still laughs softly.

“But I heard that your future wife is a former lover of Steven who has always been looking for her all this time. It was like watching a drama.”

Sebastian tries to hold back his emotions so that there is no need to hear the laughter of Shera again which makes his ears hurt.

“Maybe the title Two Love One Roof ?” Shera looked at Sebastian with a mocking expression.

“Are you sure Bas that she loves you ? Didn't approach you just to heat up Steven ? Don't you already have the experience of being fooled by women ?”

Sebastian laughed cynically.

“Yes, and that woman is you ! And now with no shame you remind me of what you did.”

“At least I'm enough, Bas. Your wife is much younger. Are you willing to be fooled by a child ?”

“If your goal here is to discuss only my life, it seems like Mr. Alexander's company has wrongly hired you as their legal advisory team.”

Sebastian who had started to be able to control his emotions spoke in a flat tone.

“Pity because they were fooled by a shrewd woman like you. Receiving a high fee but his skills are just busy taking care of the lives of others,” Sebastian's mocking remarks make Shera just a cynical smile.

“What men who impregnate you do not want to take responsibility ? Or because the man suddenly fell into poverty and you have not found a new prey that you can deceive like me ?”

Sebastian leaned slightly toward Shera who was still sitting at his desk.

“It's a shame that your skills as a lawyer are used to deceive rich men who can satisfy you.”

This time Sebastian laughs with a sentence full of insinuation and ridicule.

“Don't bring my work problems!” shera snapped with an annoyed face.

“I'm grateful that God still gives me a chance to see your rot before I get entangled in your trap,”

Shera clenched her hands together under the table. He himself tried to be ordinary and not be provoked by Sebastian's words.

“Even you are not a good mother,” Sebastian's gaze looks sharp and intimidates the woman before him.

“If you were a good mother, wouldn't your son run into the arms of my future wife even to the point of calling her mama.”

“Know what you about my son !” Shera cried who began to lose control when Sebastian brought up about Raven.

“Of course I know. Your son loved my future wife so much and when he last met at the mall, your son called Kirana mama. The feelings of a child are impossible to lie. They know which women are good for their mothers and which women only use children for their status.”

Shera got up from her seat and laughed cynically at Sebastian.

“Just because a child calls her mama then you consider your future wife a good woman ? He has a special relationship with Steven,”

Shera leaned towards Sebastian until his face drew closer to the man, the surprised Sebastian Reflek, pushing his chair back away.

“Are you sure that the girl's relationship with Steven is just monkey love ? I'm not sure if that woman..”.

“Kirana ! That woman is my future wife and has the name !” Cut Sebastian.

Shera chuckled at Sebastian's reddened face in annoyance

“OK.. Okay.. Bus, Kirana. What a pretty name. Can I continue ?”

Shera looked at Sebastian standing up and his hands folded in front of his chest.

“I'm not sure that Kirana won't be tempted by Steven's persuasion. Moreover, they were really very close in the past. You certainly remember how your cousin did not stop telling about his love for Kirana, until we got tired of hearing it.”

“Not your business ! If you're done with your theory speech, please get out of my room. You are not a good woman who can judge my future wife.” Sebastian's voice sounded calmer making Shera feel back in the wind.

“You don't even know the extent to which Kirana rebuilt her relationship with Steven. Moreover, you will often leave it the same as when I used to.”

Shera's look was made to look sad, as if she was reminded of her past with Sebastian.

“Dion !” Sebastian immediately called his assistant before Shera opened her mouth again.

“Please ask Mr. Alexander to replace him,” Sebastian deliberately pointed at Shera with a little rough.

“If Mr. Alexander objected, the work of the kit would end only until stage one. And take care of all the cancellations of the cooperation contract.”

Shera was shocked to hear Sebastian. Being his lover for 3 years makes Shera a little memorized that Sebastian never messed with his decision in terms of work.

Shera decides to leave Sebastian's room without saying goodbye. But his steps stopped before opening the door and he turned back.

“Do not until the loneliness you create makes your future wife look for her past love that can give her comfort,” said Shera with emphasis.

Sebastian is silent and looks indifferent to Shera's words. But his little heart was disturbed, making him think that maybe Kirana would do the same thing as Shera on the grounds of loneliness because it is often far from Sebastian.

Sebastian rested his body on his chair, while Dion was out and drove Shera to the elevator.

Shera's last words really troubled her mind. Sebastian closed his eyes, thinking about where Kirana was going.
