Chapter 63 The Provocation of Shera

During his time in Indonesia, Sebastian's activities run as usual. Even the man asked Dion to arrange his meeting schedule not to exceed the hours of his office and as much as possible held in the MegaCyber building.

Sebastian wants to spend more time with Kirana. In addition to preparing for their wedding, next week is Sebastian's schedule to return to America to address their server center issues.

Sebastian, who originally wanted to invite Kirana to spend time together on Saturday, was forced to rewind his plans to the afternoon because he had to accompany daddy Richard to play golf while discussing work with their business partners.

Kirana finally decides to go to the mall alone during the day because she has to buy some of her personal needs. Initially wanted to invite Echi or Marsha, but Kirana was afraid that Sebastian would suddenly want to pick up according to playing golf. It doesn't feel good to have Kirana leave them at the mall.

“How are you Kirana ?” someone aligned her steps while Kirana was looking around at the supermarket.

“Good afternoon Sister Shera,” greet Kirana back when she saw the former wife Sebastian was already beside her.

“It looks like Sebastian has not changed. Still consider work more important than accompanying his future wife, even on weekends like this,”, said Shera with a soft laugh.

“Unfortunately I do not feel that Mas Bastian treats me like that,” Kirana said in a relaxed tone.

“You haven't been in a relationship with her for long, Kirana. Don't be so naive. You'll see how Sebastian really is.”

“Maybe it was, Ma'am. But I believe that people can change for the better. And I'm sure that Mas Bastian is not the same person compared to the road with Mbak Shera.”

“I heard you guys have been dating for four months and know less than a year. So I'm sure Sebastian hasn't been too open to you, let alone his heart ever hurt because of me.” Shera smiled with a face humbling Kirana.

“I first. Mbak.” Kirana who had lost the mood of shopping pushed her trolley towards the cashier,

The list of groceries he had recorded in the mobile phone has not been bought all, but shopping accompanied by Shera's babble makes his heart feel uncomfortable.

“Kirana,” Shera's hand restrains Kirana's arm as she finishes making transactions at the cashier.  “I want to chat with you for a minute.”

“If Mbak Shera just wants to open up Mas Bastian's ugliness, sorry I don't need that kind of information. I will see it for myself in our togetherness. Because I'm sure that people's views of the good bad sometimes differ, depending on which angle we look at it from,”

Kirana refused still in a polite manner. But Shera's hand was still not separated from his arm.

“It's not just Sebastian's problem, but I want to talk about Raven, “ Shera looks at Kirana with a pleading face. Kirana sighed, but she finally collapsed as well upon hearing Raven's name.

Shera invites Kirana to talk at one of the cafes that is not too crowded so it is comfortable to talk. And now, the two women were already sitting opposite while waiting for their order to be delivered.

Kirana herself chose silence and waited for Shera to speak first.

“Please postpone your wedding plans with Sebastian to make sure that you love each other.”

That Shera sentence made Kirana frown and was a little surprised even though she tried to hide it and was mediocre.

“What does Mbak Shera's request mean ?”

“Steven told me about asking you. Is your heart not moved at all to give him a chance?”

Kirana smiled a little cynically. He did not expect that this all also involved the name Steven in it.

“I assume the problem with Steven is settled and Mbak Shera has no right to manage my life,” replied Kirana firmly.

“Of course your problem with Steven is not finished, Kirana,” said Shera, but paused his sentence because the waiter delivered two drinks of their order.

“Steven loves you very much. Even since we went to college one day and we came back to see each other a lot when I was dating Sebastian, there's only your name being mentioned by him. Steven's love for you never changed, from the very first time until the last time I met him.”

Kirana laughed softly as she picked up the drink glass and sipped it a little.

“Then, please tell Steven that he loves me very much, let me be happy with Mas Bastian, the man I love.”

“The man who loves us so much will definitely be more able to give us happiness compared to the man who just loves it.”

“Means Mbak ?” Kirana knitted her two eyebrows.

“Steven loves you so much. His love is so deep and beyond Sebastian's love for you. Such a man would be more happy for you than Sebastian.”

“Why Ma'am Shera is so sure,” Kirana smiles cynically.

“Because Sebastian still loves me.”

This time Kirana was unable to hide her surprise. He put down his drinking glass and shifted a little away.

“It looks like Mbak Shera is very confident and feels the most understanding of Mas Bastian's heart and mind. Is Sister Shera not afraid of heartache if her reality is not like that?”

“I talked to him several times outside the context of work. Besides, didn't it occur to you why Sebastian let you take me off the hook with Esti ? It's because Sebastian still has a little taste for me, so he doesn't want to make me why-napa.”

“All of that is at my request, not Mas Bastian's decision,” replied Kirana still trying to temper her emotions.

“That's why I told you that you don't know Sebastian very well, Kirana. Where maybe the time of about 6 months can be likened to me who knew him almost 5 years,” Shera laughed a little mockingly.

“Sebastian is not a man who forgives easily, especially in people who interfere with his privacy. Even daddy Richard couldn't get in his way if Sebastian had already decided to punish someone. If Sebastian had erased my name from his heart, he would not have so easily forgiven me, even if you begged him.”

Kirana just smiled cynically listening to Shera's words. He pulled back his drink and took a sip to calm the turmoil of his heart that began to be provoked by emotions.

“I've told you that Mas Bastian has changed a lot.”

“I intend to return to Sebastian !” Shera firmly with a smile.

Kirana's heart came back like it stopped for a few seconds hearing Shera's expression. His emotions were turned back by Shera. He put the glass back.

“I will apologize for all my mistakes that have hurt her. If necessary I kneel down and beg Sebastian to take me back. I'm sure that our love will be able to fix everything and start over. While talking to him, I realized that Sebastian was the man I loved, and I could see that there was still love in his eyes.”

Shera smiled with a happy face while looking at Kirana.

“Let Sebastian go and let us get back together, for Raven's good too. And you can start with Steven, the man who loved you so much. Believe ! Steven's love will definitely make you happier than Sebasatian who still has love for me.”

“Mbak Shera is very confident once,” Kirana said while laughing a little mockingly. “I'm not sure if what is seen in Mas Bastian's gaze is love for Mbak Shera, but it's a pity that Mbak Shera sees it so. Don't replace the embittered Sister Shera.”

“How about we exchange places to prove our respective beliefs ?” challenge Shera with her sneaky smile that Kirana doesn't see.

“Three months. Within three months, you were trying to get into a relationship with Steven and myself with Sebastian. If in three months I can't prove that Sebastian still loves me and accepts me with Raven, I'll let him go back to you. But if in three months you change and love Steven, I'm willing to be your replacement to stay next to Sebastian, to be the one who always loves him. I'm sure Sebastian will melt into me with the rest of the love in his heart.”

Kirana laughed at Shera's words. She recalled the words of Amelia's mommy who said that there would be many women trying to get rid of her from Sebastian.

“I never considered Mas Bastian as an object to do such trials. Mas Bastian was not an item that could be easily transferred. I am sure that Mas Bas loves me as much as I love him.”

“You are still young and naive Kirana,” Shera said with a mocking smile. “I think you're overconfident about Sebastian. Don't let you end up hurt by your overrated beliefs.”

Kirana just smiled and got up from her stool, picked up her grocery bag.

“Maybe I have less experience compared to Mbak Shera who is so smart to lie to Mas Bastian about pregnancy with another man. But my love is more than what Mbak Shera has for Mas Bastian. And I make sure that my future husband loves me more than the rest of the love that Sister Shera sees.”

Kirana nodded her head, leaving Shera who was still sitting while clenching her hands under the table.

“Kirana !” Shera called out to him hard enough that Kirana stopped her steps.

“Do not until you regret with the confidence of your heart. This time it seemed like nature was on my side because it gave me the opportunity to go alone with Sebastain to America. I make sure that all your beliefs today will fall apart,” Shera said with a cynical smile and a mocking look.

‘Thank you for the warning Sister Shera,” Kirana smiled as she nodded her head and resumed her steps.

Kirana quickened her pace away from Shera towards the mall exit. His heart rumbled to hear Shera's words, especially the last one. Why didn't Sebastian tell her they were leaving together ? Although this togetherness was due to job responsibilities, but Kirana felt shaky as well.

Shera is not the type of woman who only brags in the mouth. What is terrible is that the woman prioritizes her actions first without saying much.

The expression of Shera's heart that turned out to still love Sebastian made Kirana feel stifled and returned in a state of lack of confidence.

Kirana picked up the vibrating phone from inside her bag. Sebastian's name appears on the phone screen.

“Halo Bee,” greet Kirana while continuing to step.

“Honey, you are still in the mall ?”

“Iya Bee.”

“Sorry I can't see you today. Dion has just reported that this afternoon there will be a meeting with Mr. Alexander's company team who will go to America. The meeting could not be pushed back to Monday because the time had passed. Sorry very much, Kiran. I'll have Mr. Tomo pick you up now, yeah.”

Kirana stopped her steps. Shera's speech began to affect his brain. It turns out that Sebastian's departure this time will be together with a company that is working with MegaCyber for a project in Kalimantan. And that's where Shera works as her legal counsel. Although Kirana was a little confused why Mr. Alexander sent Shera who had nothing to do with technical affairs.

Kirana felt a little dizzy. His heart felt more mixed. He rushed back and asked the officers to call a taxi for him in the main lobby. He wants to go home, take a shower and rest.

“I'm already on my way home, Bee. Mr. Tomo doesn't need to pick me up.”
