Chapter 56 The Difficult Request
It has been 3 days now that Sebastian and Kirana's communication has not gone smoothly. Not only because of the time difference that makes them unable to speak by phone call, but the busy Sebastian takes care of his work there.
Kirana had just finished taking a shower and entered her room. He immediately approached the nightstand and checked his phone. There has been no reply from Sebastian even the message he sent has not been read. 8 O'clock in Jakarta means 7 am there.
Just as Kirana put back her phone, the tone of the incoming call sounded. It was not Sebastian's name that appeared, making Kirana reluctant to pick him up.
He ignored the phone call until finally the notification of the incoming message sounded on his phone.
NN: night Kirana, this is Aunt Mira, Raven's mom. Can aunt talk to you ?
Without replying to the message, Kirana immediately dialed back the call number that she had ignored several times.
“Aunty Night, sorry I rarely pick up the phone from an unknown number.” Greet Kirana when the call is connected.
“It's okay Kirana, Auntie also likes it so.”
“There can I help you, Auntie ?”
“Raven is sick, Kiran, until hospitalized. And it looks like Raven needs you right now.”
Aunt Mira spoke carefully.
“Shera ?” Kirana raised her eyebrows next door even though Aunt Mira could not see it.
“Shera is working in Singapore. Aunty has given word but there has been no reply. And since this afternoon Raven called out to mama, when all this time he called Shera as mommy. So aunt thinks that what Raven wants to meet is you.”
Kirana was speechless hearing Aunt Mira's words. If you join the conscience, it feels he is reluctant to respond because it means he will deal with Shera. Given the behavior of Sebastian's ex-wife who almost ruined Kirana's relationship with her ex-husband, it feels like Kirana wants to stay away from everything related to the woman.
“Kirana,” call Aunt Mira break the silence between them.
“Can Om and Auntie ask you to come and visit Raven in the hospital ?”
Kirana sighed. Between his principles and conscience is at war with each other.
“I'll permission first with Sebastian, Aunt.”
“Thank you Kirana. May Sebastian allow. Aunty will send Raven's room number via wa.”
“Goodnight, Aunt.”
Kirana sat on her bed after her conversation with Aunt Mira ended. His little heart felt sorry for Raven. The two-year-old boy seemed to miss his mother's affection. Shera pays little attention to him, even if he ignores the presence of Raven in his life.
Kirana finally decided to call Sebastian. It might be better to talk in person than through a message.
More than five times, Kirana's calls always end up at the ballot box. He also tried to contact Dion who accompanied Sebastian, but the same, several times the call to Dion number ended also at the ballot box.
Kirana was laying down her body that felt tired. Sebastian's absence in the office doesn't make his job any lighter.
The important decision-making that only Sebastian or Daddy Richard could make, made Kirana along with Amir, Echi and Marsha alternated overtime to take care of from his administrative side. The time difference makes them actually more work in the afternoon than during the day.
Kirana almost fell asleep when her phone rang again. Half sleepy he took the flat object from the nightstand.
Again the name of Aunt Mira who contacted him was not Sebastian or Dion.
“Halo Aunt,” Kirana wakes up from her sleep but stays seated on the bed. The wall clock in the room, almost 10 p.m.
“Kirana, can you come now ? Raven suddenly hot high and had a step. He kept calling mama,” heard sobs on the sidelines of Aunt Mira's speech.
“I'll be there soon, Aunt.”
Kirana rushes up to the wardrobe and changes clothes. He also prepared a change of clothes and toiletries in case you have to stay overnight and leave for the office from the hospital.

Kirana was surprised to see Steven was in there still wearing snelli. He cursed himself who forgot that Raven was admitted to a hospital owned by the Pratama family and Steven is a pediatrician here.

“Thank you Kirana,” aunt Mira immediately hugged Kirana who immediately returned her embrace.
“How are things Raven, Aunt ?” Kirana followed Tahte Mira who was holding her arm close to Raven's bed.
“Steven just gave him a heat-lowering drug. Good thing Raven can be calmer and sleep.”
“Nana,” greet Steven.
“Goodnight Steven,” Kirana smiles while nodding her head.
“You know each other ?” Aunt Mira looks a bit surprised when I see Steven and Kirana greeting each other by name.
“We had one school, Aunt,” Kirana said.
“Not is your age much younger than Shera ?”
“I'm his underclassman Steven, Aunt. Different 4 years.”
“Not just a younger brother, Aunt Mira,” Steven said while laughing softly “Almost a future wife too,” kelakar Steven.
“Loh so you guys are ex-girlfriends ?” Om Herman, who had been sitting on the sofa, got up and approached, then grabbed his wife's shoulder.
“Eh.. ngg..not Om,” replied Kirana staggered. “We are just regular friends.”
Om Herman just laughed while nodding his head while Aunt Mira just smiled.
“Prieve my request to be heard by Kirana, Om,” joke Steven while laughing.
“Then Om and Aunt go home. Let me and Nana take care of Raven tonight,” Steven said as he took off his snell and put it on the side of the sofa.
“Eh.” Kirana was surprised to hear Steven.
“I'm sure that you're ready to take care of Raven tonight,” Steven pointed to the bag of clothes that Kirana is still carrying.
“But Aunt..”.
“If so, om and auntie titip Raven yes,” Om Herman who caught the intention of Steven smiling understandingly, immediately cut the sentence Kirana.
Apparently they don't know that Kirana is engaged to Sebastian.
“Sorry Om and Auntie, I'd mind waiting alone with Steven. Me alone,” said Kirana who made Om Herman frown.
“It does not feel good to see that an engaged woman lives with another man, even in a hospital room,” Kirana explained.
“You and Sebastian are engaged ?” Aunt Mira seemed to be in disbelief with Kirana's words . So does Om Herman who looks just as surprised.
“I don't mind keeping Raven tonight. Like Steven said, I brought a change of clothes. But Steven doesn't have to accompany me. Sorry Om and Aunt, I want to keep Sebastian feeling as well.”
“Sorry we don't know the problem was Kirana,” Aunt Mira approached Kirana and rubbed the girl's back.
“Tante is happy to hear that you will be Sebastian's wife,” Aunt Mira's maternal smile makes Kirana feel relieved because her relationship with Sebastian, her former daughter-in-law, is well received.
“Then I will wait in my room only Om, Auntie. So whenever Raven needs me, Kirana can directly call me.”
Steven looks awkward when Om Herman and Aunt Mira finally find out Kirana's status now. The young doctor took back his snell without wearing it and walked towards the door of the room.
“I'm sorry,” Steven nodded his head. “Begging the sisters to call me if anything happens to Raven, Na.” Steven said as he looked at Kirana. The girl nodded.
“I'm sorry Auntie asked you to come Kirana. Aunt really does not know,” looks sorry face on the face of Aunt Mira.
“I'm sure Sebastian will understand, Aunt,” Kirana smiled as she grabbed Aunt Mira's fingers.
“Sorry Om doesn't know either,” said Om Herman smiling clumsyly.
“It's okay, Om. Let Aunt Mira go home and rest first, tonight I will take care of Raven.”
“Tomorrow we'll be back early in the morning with babysitter Raven. We told him to come home because he wasn't feeling well.” Said Aunt Mira.
“Nnothing Aunt. Om and aunt rest first tonight,” Kirana hoe Aunty Mira shoulder with a smile. The two of them came out of Raven's nursery and left Kirana alone.
