Chapter 40 Disappeared

Sebastian and Dion had just set foot at Soekarno Hatta Airport two days after the incident. The project work was handed over to Bara as the person in charge.

Mr. Tomo is already waiting at the arrival terminal pick-up area.

“Where are we, Sir ?” Mr. Tomo who was ready behind the wheel looked at Sebastian from the rearview center.

Sebastian saw his watch. It's not too late afternoon. Sebsstian wanted to go straight to Kirana.

“To Kirana's house, Mo,” her orders.

Dion had received word that Kirana was ill and had sent a photo of the doctor's license asking her to rest for 3 days.

An hour less cars were parked in front of Kirana's house. Impatiently, Sebastian rushed down and hit the bell near the gate.Dion himself was still waiting in the car with Mr. Tomo.

Before long, Mama Lia comes out and is shocked to see Sebastian coming to their house.

“Sore Tahte,” greet Sebastian.

“Sore too, Bus. Is there something with Kirana ?” Mama Lia's tone sounded anxious.

“Loh, I actually want to meet Kirana, Aunt.” Sebastian's forehead is wrinkled. How could Mama Lia even ask Kirana.

“Yesterday Kirana has left early in the morning, she said she will stay for a few days because there is an office task.”

Sebastian closed his eyes while breathing out . Kirana can lie to Sebastian and his parents together.

Seeing that something was wrong, Dion got out of the car and approached Sebastian and Mama Lia who were still standing on the fence.

“Sore Mistress,” greet Dion while bending her body. Mama Lia just nodded with a look of anxious face.

“Then I go to the office first to make sure Kirana, Auntie. While Auntie is calm first, I will definitely find out about it.”

Sebastian tried to smile to give peace to Mama Lia. After that, he went with Dion.

“Did your man not follow Kirana for 24 hours ?” Without turning his head, Sebastian's loud-sounding question was enough to make Dion a little worried because he felt like he was being cheated.

“It doesn't seem like, sir. They just follow Kirana finished the office hours 2 days ago, and tomorrow yes starting at 5 am. But there are no reports that Kirana left home with a bag of clothes.”

“To Pratama Medika hospital, Mo !” Sebastian's orders to the driver.

The car went straight to where Sebastian had asked for it.

“Do I need to check Steven's doctor's practice schedule, Mr Bas ?”

Sebastian was silent as he looked out the side window.

Arriving at the Hospital lobby, Sebastian rushed down and closed the car door quite hard. Dion soon follows to prevent Sebastian from making a fuss in the hospital. In any case, those who knew him knew that Sebastian bears the name of Pratama as well and must have something to do with the hospital.

Arriving at Steven's practice room, it turns out they still have to wait. There is one last patient. Dion is grateful that Sebastian can control his emotions and does not barge in right away.

About 30 minutes later, the last patient came out. Without waiting to be told by the nurse who was standing guard there, Sebastian immediately opened the door with a face full of anger.

“Bastian !” Steven, who was still sitting in his chair and talking to the other sisters, looked surprised to see his cousin standing in front of him.

Steven also coded the nurses inside to leave them. Now in the room there were only three of them.

Steven frowned, his face puzzled at Sebastian's question, but then a mocking laugh came out of his mouth.

“Aren't you confessing to her future husband ? Why ask me ?” Steven sneered with a cynical look

“Wouldn't you last meet at Mal ?” Sebastian's voice was no less cynical and his face also humbled Steven.

“Ah yes, of course I remember. And you need to know that at that time I officially asked Kirana to be my lover. Maybe now he is deliberately away from you, to ascertain his feelings whether to accept my offer.” Steven laughed while putting on his face.

“Basic jerk !” Sebastian kicked the table and was about to grab Steven's shirt wrapped in his snelli.

Dion holds Sebastian's body still trying to reach Steven. The assistant also whispered something that finally made Sebastian hold his emotions.

“Our line is not finished yet !” Sebastian turns around before closing Steven's practice room door. “Don't even try to get close to Kirana let alone dare to ask her to be your lover!”

Steven just laughed mockingly at Sebastian's words. And after his cousin slammed the door of his practice room. Steven immediately took the phone in his desk drawer.

But just like Sebastian, Steven has always been connected to the ballot box since yesterday.

Dion invites Sebastian to the office. He had already asked Aldo to prepare and meet them in Sebastian's study. In addition to checking CCTV, with Sebastian's permission, Aldo will check Kirana's computer, who knows there is something that can track Kirana's whereabouts.

Arriving at the office lobby, Sebastian again closed the car door quite hard and rushed to his room. He did not return the greetings of some employees who met him in the lobby.

Arriving at the 15th floor, Aldo was already sitting on the sofa in Kirana and Dion's room. Sebastian gestures for Aldo to do what will help him track Kirana.

Sebastian himself entered his room. Open the top drawer that was never locked. He finds a box containing a necklace with a small pendant that he once gave to Kirana. And it looks like the girl realized that Sebastian put a tracking device in there.

On the way to the hospital, Aldo had reported that the necklace position was on the 15th floor of the MegaCyber building. Sebastian could hear it. He immediately opened his desk drawer, because that's what Kirana used to put something for Sebastian.

Sebastian was sitting leaning back while closing his eyes in his study chair when the door of the room was knocked. Aldo and Dion enter and approach Sebastian's desk, but Sebastian gestures to talk on the couch.

They also took a position that could see the laptop simultaneously and Aldo began to open CCTV footage that was installed in the secretariat room on the 15th floor.

Sebastian choked when he saw the expression of Kirana's face that was so shocked and not long seen her hand shaking holding a cellphone. But unfortunately, even the reflection of the phone held by Kirana can not be captured by CCTV.

“It looks like Kirana got a picture, Sir,” Aldo explained as Sebastian was already sitting leaning on the sofa while staring up at the ceiling.

“But sorry, I have tried to see from various angles, CCTV, still can not be seen clearly. Just a picture shadow only.”

“Try showing, Do.”

Sebastian took his seat again and focused on Aldo's laptop.

“This is the best, Sir.”

Kirana's hand is touching her phone. Sebastian squinted his eyes to guess the picture Kirana saw. It hurts when he sees his girlfriend crying so much that his body shakes.

Sebastian growled in frustration at not being able to see clearly what was on Kirana's phone. Even the whereabouts of the girl could not be traced.

“You can come out. Thanks for the help, Do. Please stay in monitor the presence of Kirana mobile phones, who knows at any time active again.”

“Good, Mr. Bas.”

The two leave Sebastian's room, while the man rests his body on the sofa.

All that anxiety finally made Sebastian's eyes closed slowly and fell asleep because he was too tired.
