Chapter 59 Lunch

Steven took mommy Amelia and Kirana to one of the malls not too far from the hospital. Traffic in Jakarta during the day is not too crowded, until enough within 20 minutes they reach the destination.

Steven who had already booked a place while they were on their way, was immediately greeted by the Restaurant Manager and immediately escorted them

to the table that telsh prepared.

Today's lunch menu turned out to be Japanese food with a menu of shabu-shabu and yakiniku.

“Auntie's favorite hasn't changed, right ?” Steven asked while pulling a bench for mommy Amelia.

They were placed on a round table that was near the glass but far from the entrance. Steven's favorite place to come here with his co-workers or doctor friends.

“How do you work, Steven ? Is it too busy to not have time to find a girlfriend?”

Steven laughed as he glanced at Kirana who was still busy grilling meat.

“I actually have a dream woman for a long time, Auntie. But it looks like my love is clapping one hand.”

“Oooo..fortunate girl loved by a great doctor, handsome and established like you. Need any more reason until he rejects you ?”

Mommy Amelia glanced at Kirana who was being mediocre. Her daughter-in-law was busy giving cooked meat to mommy Ameia.

“Maybe because I stayed a long time ago, Auntie,” Steven again glanced at Kirana while laughing softly.

Everything Steven did did did not go unnoticed by mommy Angela. Sebastian's story can't be ignored, and Amelia's mommy will do her job as a mother who won't let her only son get hurt again because of love problems.

“What is it that you just stay ?” Mommy Amelia laughed softly. “You hang people's love?”

“Not hung Auntie, but I'm less assertive expressing feelings. I think that sweet gaids are still too small to talk to love, Steven” stared at the meat grill that was in front of him with a bright mind on his past.

“I thought the girl would understand the signs of love I was showing, but it turned out that she did not consider my attention as love.”

Mommy Amelia laughed and started to enjoy the roast and the bowl of shabu-shabu Kirana prepared.

“Eat first, Mom, the meat mump is still hot,” Kirana put back three pieces of meat on the side dish mommy Amelia.

“You also eat first, baby,” Mommy Amelia smiles at Kirana. “Lauk on mommy plate is enough.”

Kirana nodded with a smile and started eating her lunch. Steven smiled bitterly at the sight before him. If Mama Rosa could have a good relationship with Kirana long ago, maybe the one in front of her now was not Auntie Amelia, but her own mother.

“So when are you going to find a girlfriend, Steven ?” Mommy asked Amelia in the middle of her meal.

“I'm still trying to convince her to love me too, Auntie. I want him to be able to see the sincerity of my heart.”

“What girl is unmarried or has a boyfriend ?”

Steven laughed and gulped down his drink before answering Amelia's mommy question.

“Actually already have a lover, Auntie. But don't people say that as long as the yellow janur hasn't curved it can still be stabbed ?” Steven laughed again

Uhhukkp.. Uhhuukk..

Kirana chokes on her food. Steven reflex approached and patted Kirana on the back, but soon the girl shifted her body. Mommy Amelia gives Kirana a drink.

“His appetite, baby,” said mommy Amelia while rubbing Kirana's back.

“Choked meat, Mom,” Kirana who has returned to normal received tissue given by mommy Amelia.

“Mommy won't ask for the one on your plate,” tease mommy Amelia while laughing softly. “So eat it slowly.”

Kirana just smiled while blushing in shame. His heart was happy because it always received the attention and affection of his future father-in-law.

“Did Bastian contact you again ?”

Kirana shook her head with a sad face. He cleaned the sweat and tears that had come out because of the choking earlier.

“Let mami omeli later. It could be to let his future wife hold back the longing. Just know the taste later if it gets stabbed people.” Mommy Amelia rubbed Kirana's back.

“Quiet Mom, it will not be easy to corner Mas Bastian because my love is not easily shaky just because it is far from Mas Bastian,’, Kirana said while chuckling.

“You heard, right, Steven ? Auntie was relieved that Sebastian was finally able to regain his love life and choose a woman who loved him very much, despite Sebastian's status as a widower,” Amelia said while chuckling.

“Mas Bastian is proud of his status, Mom. Mas Bas always said that he was a virgin,” said Kirana while laughing.

Steven laughed softly. His heart felt even more sore at the closeness of Kirana and Mommy Amelia. Even he felt insinuated by the conversation of the two women in front of him. Kirana, who clearly knows the figure of the woman Steven is talking about, deliberately confirms in front of her that her love is only for Sebastian.

After lunch, mommy Amelia escorts Steven and Kirana back to the hospital. Not to forget he advised that Kirana is enough to accompany Raven until tomorrow, can not be extended.

Steven himself was more silent during the trip back to the hospital, but it seemed that Amelia's mommy wasn't particularly pestering him.

“Mommy will have Mr. Tomo pick you up tomorrow afternoon, here,’ Amelia said as they reached the hospital lobby. 

“You mommy wants to take you to lunch with some friends. They want to be acquainted with the future wife of Sebastian.’

Kirana nodded and hugged Amelia's mommy while giving a kiss on the cheek.

‘Mommy be careful on the road.”

Kirana waved until the car got further away from the lobby, Steven who was standing next to her was more silent during the delivery of Amelia mommy.

“I went back to the room, there is still work,” Steven said as they returned to the hospital.

“I also want to go back to Raven's room, “ said Kirana with a relaxed attitude.

The two continued walking together until inside the elevator, but there was no conversation.

Steven got off on the 3rd floor, where his private room as a hospital owner was located, and Kirana continued all the way to the 9th floor

While in the car, mommy Amelia took her phone from her handbag and pressed the number of someone she had been in contact with.

“Find out Shera's whereabouts and her interests in Singapore. Don't forget to put someone who can look after my future daughter-in-law, don't let your guard down. If need to be placed in the hospital as long as he is there.”

Daddy Richard's confidant immediately responded to Mommy Amelia's request.

Finished ending the conversation with confidant father Richard, mommy Amelia sends a message to her husband to inform him of the progress of their plan. Not to forget, Amelia's mommy sent a message so that Sebastian would keep in touch with Kirana, whatever hectic work.

The experience of daddy Richard and mommy Amelia in their youth about third parties in the household was enough. It's time to pass on the experience to Sebastian who will soon be building a household.

Kirana's young age makes the girl less experienced, especially Sebastian is her first lover. Daddy Richard and mommy Amelia will accompany Sebastian and Kirana until both are mature and strong enough.
